17/02/2024: Mi sono recato ieri sera con la mia famiglia ed il mio pelosetto. Non è la prima volta che frequento questo ristorante anche se NON posso essere considerato un habitue' (vado 2-3 volte/anno). Ieri sera ottima l'accoglienza sia ne nostri confronti che nei confronti del "peloso" a cui hanno immediatamente (e senza sollecito) servito una ciotola di acqua fresca, segno che comunque sono estremamente attenti. Dopo qualche minuto di studio del menu abbiamo ordinato. Gradevolissima la "amuse bouche" servita. Ottimi gli antipasti che hanno soddisfatto occhi e palato. In due abbiamo preso le tagliatelle al burro con i frutti di mare che si sono rivelate spettacolari, anche il San Pietro è stato molto apprezzato. Abbiamo terminato la cena con due dessert ed i caffe accompagnati dalla piccola pasticceria offerta. Degno di nota il pane (fatto da loro) assolutamente superlativo. Abbiamo cenato con due Gin Tonic (a noi ogni tanto piace), nonostante siano dotati di una cantina ottimamente fornita. conto adeguato alla location, al servizio ed alla qualità dei piatti. Ho trovato anche adeguato il tempo di "attesa" (magari accorciabile di 5 min, se si vuole fare i pignoli), infatti in totale la cena è durata due ore che trovo essere un tempo piu che accettabile per godersi una bella serata in una bella location ed in buona compagnia. Grazie alla signora che si è nuovamente dimostrata estremamente gentile, grazie all'attento cameriere che ci ha serviti e "coccolati" tutta la sera e grazie allo chef, veramente gentile! E' stata veramente una bella serata .

26/03/2024: Let's start with the setting: beautiful. From the outside you wouldn't say the same thing. My wife and I enter, on the right there is a gentleman at the cash register, in front I presume the partner who makes the pizzas. The gentleman at the cash register greets us, we wave back. We told him we had booked. he kindly tells us to continue into the other room. In the other room a waitress arrives who doesn't even look at us (inside I think that the beginning isn't the best also because the room is half empty so I don't think she didn't see us because she was very busy). She approaches shortly after and in the meantime the gentleman at the cash register tells her "they have booked and he will tell you the name". She looks on a sheet of paper then takes us to the table. I have no problem also mentioning the table on Thursday 21 March (TABLE 22, receipt for 74 euros). We sit down. I repeat, the room is very nice! I'll start by cutting things short otherwise I'll bore you: let's take a bottle of Falanghina (I love Falanghina and Greco as I'm half from Campania). First courses: 2 Neapolitan-style sciatatielli EXCELLENT!! Second courses (here come the sore points): for me mussels with lemon, for my wife mixed fried food. So: in my opinion the largest mussel (I mean the internal fruit) could have had an indicative measurement of 1.5 cm and could have been 5% of the total. The others were small, shriveled, cooked and cooked. It's a shame because they were good but some mussels go well with pasta, in pizza but not as a second course. My wife's mixed fry...was fried and overfried. It practically felt like eating chips. Too bad... really too bad. But the best part is yet to come: at the end of dinner we head to the checkout. The waitress at the bar counter getting some drinks (perhaps she was filling something on tap), the pizza chef continues to make pizzas, the gentleman who was at the cash register when we entered was not there and arrives shortly after to bring something to the pizza chef but not I noticed what. We stand in front of the register and look at each other. Shortly afterwards the waitress arrives (the same one who didn't even look at us when we arrived...), takes the bill, says the total. I pay, she gives me the change and without saying goodbye she gets up (you could see she was annoyed about her own business) and goes back to the bar counter. My wife thanks her and says goodbye and only then does the girl say goodbye too. I'm sorry but if at the beginning we wanted to try the place again... for me it goes in the black book. We are from GARLASCO, we wanted to try this place specifically and believe me in Garlasco there are quite a few places... be careful gentlemen, it takes a lifetime to make customers. To lose them for a moment. SIN. In summary: very nice place, 10 cum laude scialatielli. Mussels and mixed fried food failed. Waitress education equal to 0 degrees kelvin, I liked the waiter with his kind and never intrusive ways. Good prices but there must be the product (such small mussels, never seen). PS: on TRIPADVISOR you replied that we could report the mussels and fried foods as not to our liking. THERE WAS NO NEED: YOU COULD SEE THEM YOURSELF BEFORE LETTING THEM LEAVE THE KITCHEN....

05/04/2024: Last night dinner with my wife, on the advice of a colleague we try the Piedigrotta. Nice place, few tables. We take mussels marinara, seafood appetizer and oysters as an appetizer. Fabulous mussels, ditto the seafood appetizer. The oysters didn't convince us. As a main course we take the Piedigrotta scialatielli with already shelled fish. Good. Like wine a Greco di Tufo. Fair prices, it's a shame that some courses are ordered for a minimum of 2 people so if we wanted to try scialatielli and another first course it couldn't be done so we were forced to take 2 scialatielli. A little bad. If I have to find one thing that didn't convince me very much, it's the waiter (Indian facial features) who didn't convince me. Hasty and without or very little empathy, unlike Mario the owner who often came to ask if everything was okay and (I appreciated) immediately brought us another basket of bread to appreciate the sauce of the seafood appetizer. At the end of dinner Mario always offered us bitters and grappa. Good boy! So as a final vote it is passed. To try again.

03/03/2024: I only knew it by name but had never been there. A nice discovery, beautiful environment, friendly and professional owner and staff. Two seafood and land menus, which they offer to you orally without a card. Even for wines there is no menu where you can choose and compare. The seafood menu is really good and doesn't disappoint you. For dessert pistachio tiramisu, really super. Good quality/price. The only flaw is the times between one course and another. Satisfied with what I ate, I will definitely return 👍

26/02/2024: We booked and when we arrived they gave us a table near a closet, we asked for another table they told us no several times even though the restaurant was empty, when there was some we were about to go they finally gave us another table . We ordered 3 oysters which all arrived with pieces of shell inside, very dangerous to eat. We ordered a mix of raw and cooked fish and it only arrived cooked. After all this we didn't order the main courses and left, still paying €47 for the "dishes". Terrible service and food. Only the glass of prosecco and the spritz were good. They ruined our evening. We do not recommend this restaurant if you don't want to ruin your dinner.

24/02/2024: È una garanzia: ogni volta è sempre peggio e al peggio non c’è mai fine! Pizzeria ristorante con inclinazione alla degustazione di avanzi. Accoglienza inesistente e quando arriva è da truppa sbragata: personale impegnato a parlare al cellulare o a fare gruppo fuori dal locale a fumare. Ambiente minimal chic, in apparenza ordinato e pulito, la fregatura arriva dopo. Antipasti anni 80, nel senso che arrivano proprio da quel periodo: un misto caldo gratinato rimasto in giro o riscaldato da giorni, moscardini in guazzetto sfatti ed esausti da una settimana di dentro/fuori dalle pentole, gratinati di polpette di avanzi; tutto aveva odore di stantio e frigorifero; per non parlare del crudo con puntarelle e delle guarnizioni al piatto, tutto ossidato. Le foto parlano chiaro. Spaghetti allo scoglio terrificanti, cozze e vongole secche e raggrinzite in un sugo mezzo marcio stracondito di olio; odore e aspetto respingenti, gusto rigurgito. Infine pizza bianca non chiesta, offerta ma poi caricata sul conto a € 5,00, neppure mangiata. Anche qua non perdono il vizio è una costante. Fate attenzione. Ovviamente conto controllato e stornata con false scuse di circostanza. State alla larga

19/03/2024: I was here for dinner with my partner and I must say that this place was a great discovery! An entirely fresh fish-based menu, with generous portions and a truly memorable culinary experience. Fair prices, not excessive, which will definitely make us come back! The mandarin and lime flavored dessert at the end of the meal was perfect to end the dinner! I also appreciated the possibility of having a small bottle of wine for us who are not big drinkers and with a choice designed specifically for the types of dishes! Last, but not least, the great service! The guy who served us was very friendly, kind and expert at his job, it was a perfect accompaniment to our pleasant evening! I highly recommend it!

16/02/2024: Lobster linguine worse than my life fake there is no carapace it tastes of nothing just canned cherry tomatoes a shame 🤣 I'm sorry the raw food is definitely good but I don't like it so I don't take it

07/04/2024: Excellent pizzeria in the center of Pavia. The pizzas were excellent and arrived quickly despite the restaurant being full of customers and the waiters friendly, helpful and well trained. Highly recommended.

03/04/2024: Unfortunately, the room was not clean at all, hair was found everywhere (see photo). Old furniture and windows. Thin walls so you can hear everything that happens in neighboring rooms. I often travel for work, in my opinion the price is definitely too high for what it offers. Breakfast ok. The only positive note was the courtesy of the lady at reception.

07/04/2024: Nice environment, good service, a good bottle of wine, good bread and breadsticks, very good boiled octopus with sauce and potato cream, good paccheri with sauce with burrata. Everything else (the most important dishes) based on fish, very disappointing. Too much eating too many tables too much noise, not an entirely positive experience. This is just my opinion, I believe that by knowing the place well you can only order the best that the restaurant offers and have a more positive experience. Okay?

05/04/2024: I celebrated Christmas 2019, Christmas 2023 and Easter 2024, I was fully satisfied with the welcome, the food and the service. I will definitely continue to celebrate with them.

30/03/2024: The place doesn't have much of “Alegria”. Mediocre tapas and desserts - the fish did not arrive in the cod meatballs. The "del mar" (fish) paella is to be forgotten - rubbery fish, prawns and mussels not cleaned, the byssus "beard" of the mussels must absolutely be eliminated (the photos speak for themselves). Service is hasty but above all listless and not at all inclined to pay attention to the customer. I don't recommend it!

18/03/2024: It was a pleasure having dinner last night. Our experience was delightful. The sangria was exceptional, fresh and drinkable, the fish paella was rich in flavor and with such a generous portion that we could comfortably share it between two, leaving us fully satisfied. The proposed menu with starters, paella and desserts was perfect and the quality-price ratio was more than convenient. Attentive and friendly service, nice environment. Without a doubt we will return... maybe even in company! P.S. the only small thing that I would like to point out... there was no paper to dry your hands in the bathroom.

01/04/2024: We arrived to spend the Easter day all together. As we are not local, my daughter decided to book because she lives here. We discovered a very nice environment, well cooked and delicate food. The young and kind waiters, we can only thank.
