14/01/2026: I've been here several times for lunch and there hasn't been a day that I've found anything wrong, from the quality of the food to the service... Coffee has always been a habit for me, but since I tried it here (I'm not exaggerating) I've discovered the pleasure of drinking it... Absolutely worth trying!

30/12/2025: Currently (December 2025), it's the only coffee shop in Pavia offering specialty coffee. For that alone, it deserves praise. The people are passionate and knowledgeable, and they offer high-quality coffee. The service is kind and attentive, always very friendly. The best coffee in Pavia. I'll definitely be back.

24/03/2026: Amazing squid ink pasta (big tube shaped) with prawn and white fish, simple butter / light seafood flavor. Probably the best meal we've had this trip. The risotto was good but heavy for our taste. The service was fantastic. The waitress gave us some history of the tower, as the dining room was a separate apartment and they joined the tower to it in the 1990s when they took down the towers.

19/02/2026: The food was delicious and the staff was professional and friendly. However, the place is rather small and can easily get quite noisy, which might be a bit inconvenient depending on your plans.

03/03/2026: I happened to stop by on a whim, and it was so delicious~~ It's become a regular spot I frequent now. I love that I can sit down and eat! I had ice cream and coffee, and the coffee was delicious too! 1.20 euros~ It's also affordable~

14/02/2026: Possibly my favorite place in Pavia! It's fun to share the dishes aperitif-style, and each one is better than the last. The cheese board (very unique, with a focus on blue cheeses and, appropriately, aged cheeses) is a must. As for the wine, the selection is vast, both in terms of type and price, with a rotating selection of exceptional wines. The staff is excellent at recommending pairings and dishes (they always stop me from ordering too much), and is generally friendly and efficient. The price is more than fair for the quantity and, above all, the quality, which is evident.

16/01/2026: I had lunch with my wife at this little restaurant in the center of Pavia. Infernot is a small, elegant restaurant/wine bar with an open kitchen, tastefully decorated to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Rossella, the owner, is a delightful person, extremely kind, and able to guide you in choosing dishes and wines. The lunch menu offers a few dishes focused on authenticity and seasonality of the products. We enjoyed a cacio e pepe and a pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) that were truly superb. The price is reasonable and is absolutely in line with the quality of the products. A 100% positive experience; we'll be back!

10/01/2026: Nuova Panarea is a guaranteed find in Pavia. It's a simple yet welcoming place. The pizza is excellent, well-cooked and made with quality ingredients, but the restaurant's dishes are also worth a try: generous portions, authentic flavors, and a truly varied menu that's sure to please everyone. Fast and friendly service, perfect for both a lunch break and a relaxed dinner. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, an increasingly rare find. A reliable place, a place you'll gladly return to whenever you want good, uncomplicated food. Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: Not a very positive experience. Four of us went. We ordered a cold cuts and cheese platter for two, served with fried gnocco, one pumpkin ravioli, and one Castelmagno gnocco, two slices of steak with arugula and parmesan, four desserts, including two panna cottas, a pistachio cheesecake, and a fried gnocco with Nutella, two bottles of still water, a bottle of Gotturnio, and four coffees. We paid €43 each for a total of €172. This seems rather excessive. I asked for two minutes of relaxation after the main course and before dessert, but this was ignored and the dessert was immediately requested. The food was good but not outstanding for a price of €43 per person, and we hadn't ordered a full meal per person. I won't go there again, and I don't recommend it.

11/01/2026: A truly positive experience. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and it was a great discovery! The service was very kind and attentive. The place was packed on a Tuesday night, so I recommend making a reservation. We ordered fried wonton noodles, shrimp clouds, and veal in Chinese sauce for appetizers. For starters, we had hand-rolled ramen (fabulous), seafood rice noodles, and shrimp dumplings for two. For main courses, we chose sweet and sour fried pork, Cantonese chicken (soft and juicy, with an excellent sauce), and grilled sea bass. For dessert, we chose a parfait and fried ice cream. Every dish was delicious and served promptly. Generous portions, especially the ramen and noodles. The bill came to €140 for four, including a €20 bottle of Pinot Noir, which I think is very reasonable given the quality and service. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try excellent Chinese cuisine. Bravo!

05/03/2026: This place was a pleasant surprise! A youthful, alternative restaurant that fits into a niche in the city center, piquing the curiosity of its patrons. This curiosity is certainly rewarded by the unique selection of dishes and their deliciousness, which, combined with the very competitive prices, place ALVOLO PANINI E CUCINA among the original and intriguing gems of Pavia!
