24/06/2025: Il locale è molto bello, curato, dentro e fuori, pulito e ben arredato.
Ogni tanto io e il mio collega abbiamo cenato o pranzato, ci siamo trovati bene anche per la qualità e la varietà dei cibi.
Però dopo ieri sera non credo che ci torneremo.
Porzioni scarse: due antipasti, gnocchi alla romana fuori menù veramente miseri, due dolci ( che fatica seguire il modo in cui il cameriere lì elenca, glieli ho fatti ripetere tre volte), due calici di vino servito aperto, senza nemmeno assaggio.
Il totale di 99 euro è stato veramente il colmo. Ho mangiato pesce di alta qualità in località marine di livello e non ho speso mai questa cifra.
Mi dispiace, si può fare di più nelle porzioni, di meno nei prezzi e parlare un italiano comprensibile.

05/07/2026: Lunch two weeks ago with relatives outside, Calindri style 🤗, everything excellent as usual, and today a lovely takeout for visiting friends. Do it just to see how Giovanna prepares and packages your excellent food. Top! 🙏🫂
We ordered the takeout menu with a choice for three people. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. The food was ready very quickly, according to the agreed-upon time. Everything was delicious. Pappardelle, tempura, malfatti, etc., delicious. Honorable mention for the pickled sardines, truly top-notch. Last but not least, a complimentary set of delicious cookies. Worth the trip. Courtesy and smiles too. Thank you, we'll be back!
UPDATE: Takeout today, March 29, 2025, delivery was on time, and everything was really, really good, even better. 😊Delicate flavors, not overly salted like elsewhere. Fried shrimp and calamari and tempura vegetables are top-notch, but the poorly prepared ones are absolutely the best in the area. Definitely go there; it's money well spent. And last but not least, the freshest cannoli, free cookies, and carefully crafted takeout packaging. I'll be back monthly. Thank you!
Update for another great takeout for three, and if there were four of us, we could have eaten for five. Everything was superb, and a ton of amazing cannoli, everything was delicious and carefully prepared as usual ✨🙏 always a guarantee, highly recommended! Thank youuuu 💖
Another update yesterday, 9/12/25
Takeout for two, and we could have eaten for three, everything was top-notch as usual... but the cod and pickled sardines were a close call. The meal packages alone are worth the trip... and then of course the contents. Delicious fried vegetable tempura...and the cannoli? Sublime! Go, eat, and come back! 💖✨🙏

The menu is not ordinary, with often sophisticated dishes and attention to detail. They could be a little more generous with the bread and breadsticks, as they sound delicious 😄!!

25/07/2026: Without taking anything away from the local restaurants, the sandwiches I've eaten here are fabulous, in my opinion, the best in the area. The atmosphere is fresh, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
20/07/2026: Fun for all ages! The course looks easy, but it is tricky. They have good snacks for kids and cold beverages for adults. In the evening, you can come here for dinner and drinks with friends. It is something special to do if you are tired of the ordinary wine tasting tours. Relax and have fun! Boun divertimento!

12/12/2025: We had dinner at La Monella and had a truly positive experience. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and attentive—one of those services that truly makes a difference and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive.
We tried several dishes:
• Braised beef ravioli, well-executed, with a flavorful filling and thin pastry.
• Speck and brie pizza, balanced and tasty.
• Pear and gorgonzola pizza, with a beautifully balanced sweet-savory contrast.
• Tart with custard and fresh fruit, simple but carefully crafted, perfect for ending the meal.
Also noteworthy is their "torta monella," which we've tried before and is truly excellent. We also noticed the seafood spaghetti on the menu, which we'll definitely try again.
Overall, a reliable restaurant, with refined cuisine and service that deserves special mention. Recommended.

17/01/2026: I returned after many years for a brief bereavement visit. Nothing has changed. The owners are very kind, the pizza is always excellent, as is the kebab. Service is fast and punctual. We'll return if we have the opportunity.

05/07/2026: On our way back from Salice Terme to Milan, we decided to stop at PIZZO🍕FRENIA... and I must say it was a delightful discovery.
Shallow, crispy, well-topped, and incredibly tasty pizza. The staff was very hospitable, kind, and welcoming, making us feel at ease right away.
A simple, well-kept, and sincere place where you eat well and pay a fair price: truly reasonable prices.
Highly recommended, we'll be happy to return!
