09/12/2025: I was not satisfied with the lunch menu. We ordered three dishes. The shrimp nudols were too greasy and tasty. The ravioli were decent, but the chicken and potatoes were raw and sent back. I definitely wouldn't go back.

09/12/2025: This sushi restaurant is clean and, above all, well-stocked. The food is excellent and fresh, and it's especially ideal for groups and families. Being a large restaurant, it's easy to find a table even without a reservation.

24/10/2025: Pasticceria Castelnuovo only makes classic pastries, no specialty cakes. But our request to revisit their volcano cake with our own twists was granted; the cake turned out excellent, delicate, and not at all cloying. I asked for a coffee cream filling with small chocolate puffs... CONGRATULATIONS... Everyone loved the cake, finding it very delicate and the coffee and chocolate combination very successful. 23/09/2025: From the moment I walked in to when I left family owned for 80 years. Great service selection in the pastries and cake was out of this world. If you’re ever in Milan, I would stop here it’s a must.!

10/10/2025: The restaurant is very quaint and welcoming, in typical Moroccan style. It has a single, small, intimate room, giving it a familiar, intimate feel, with soft, pleasant background music that allows for easy conversation. The menu features traditional dishes (appetizers, tagine, couscous, bastela, etc.). We had the mixed appetizers, beef couscous, and chicken bastela, accompanied by a spectacular hot mint tea—highly recommended. All the dishes are beautifully presented and truly delicious! The owner is very helpful and kind. We'll definitely be back; it was a wonderful experience and a discovery.

After years of knowing Balafon, each visit is a pleasant return, a slow and satisfying immersion in the elegant yet simple and mellow atmosphere created by the owners (the attentive mother in the dining room and her son in the kitchen), who immediately put you at ease, leaving you feeling completely at ease. Thora's cuisine perfectly expresses the flavors and aromas of various parts of the African continent, but always with perfect balance, with spices and ingredients of the highest quality, used with skill and taste, satisfying the palate and caressing it with great attention. People matter to us, and here this aspect is brought to the fore, always with great elegance and simplicity that make you feel at home and, above all, make you want to return each time, perhaps even more often. Balafon is certainly the best "African" restaurant in Milan, by far. Thank you! to this wonderful couple of restaurateurs, promoted and confirmed as such across the board. Bravo!

04/10/2025: This trattoria is crowded, perhaps because the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The menu is reminiscent of a home-style menu, with a short list, but the dishes are excellent and carefully prepared. The informal atmosphere is very welcoming. Well done, a surprise for Milan, a place where you can breathe in the joyful atmosphere of times gone by. Thank you!

28/09/2025: After going for breakfast, we tried the aperitivo and found everything to be spot on: A welcoming and clean atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, perfect cocktails, good beer, tasty side dishes, and fair (almost) affordable prices. Five stars only because it's not worth giving 9.5.

13/11/2025: Amazing piadinas, really good and made with top-notch ingredients! The selection of piadinas is huge, as are the beers! My partner also had a really good Italian cola that we'd never tried before!!! We'll definitely be back.

09/12/2025: The coffee was excellent, the pastries excellent. There were plenty of customers. However, this shouldn't affect the welcoming atmosphere and customer service. Let me explain. The staff is very efficient, but at times I sensed impatience and intolerance toward customers who were a bit slow in placing orders or going to the cash register. In any case, it's a place worth more than one visit.

09/11/2025: We'd been eyeing this restaurant on the Fork app for quite some time, so partly attracted by the photos and partly by the small discount offered, we decided to give it a try, and I must say it was a fantastic discovery. A small but very well-kept restaurant in a 5-star hotel setting that makes you feel welcome from the moment you enter. The staff is friendly, to say the least, and professional. And what can we say about the dishes? There's definitely a Michelin-starred chef in the kitchen! Applause, applause, applause on all fronts.

12/11/2025: Hospitality: ★★☆☆☆ Ambience: ★★★☆☆ Service: ★★☆☆☆ Dishes: ★★☆☆☆ Price: ★★☆☆☆ A Monday evening in Milan, hunger more for comfort than appetite, and a discreet sign between Via Lodovico il Moro and Via Tre Castelli: Lungo la notte. The setting, though evocative in its restoration, remains cold and a bit distant; the low lighting and the fake granite tables take away the warmth from the beautiful brick vaults. We are greeted by a kind but distracted waiter, and by an owner absorbed in his pipe, a figure from another era who observes the room without truly seeing it. On the table, a tagliata with gorgonzola served in a parmesan wafer—pretty to the eye, less so to the palate: gorgonzola, in fact, is a pale cream whose only cheese name is gorgonzola. The chef's tartare, fresh but characterless, discreetly accompanies the disappointment. The fries and grilled trevisana steak are excellent, setting the tone for the evening. The bill, €70, is fair but not justified by the experience. A place with potential, but one that seems to have lost its passion. Maybe Monday wasn't the right time. Maybe it was, but not for us. 05/11/2025: The food wasn't particularly above average. Cover was provided, paid for, with napkins and cutlery placed directly on the table, without a tablecloth, placemat, or anything else. Prices were high for what was on offer.
