26/08/2025: I stumbled upon this little wine shop almost by chance and fell in love with it. The location is small, very well-kept, and beautifully presented. The wine selection is incredible, and you can also taste it on site. But above all, I was lucky enough to find Kiyomi, who gave me a wonderful welcome and was able to recommend what to try. It was a pleasure to spend time in this little corner of Milanese paradise, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle, and to chat with someone who is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional about wine, but also has a profound passion for this world that she manages to convey to her customers. 05/06/2025: Came here last year in March. Spoke to the shopkeeper in English for an hour only to realize he even speaks a bit of Dutch. He sold me some fantastic wines, as I'm writing this now I'm on my way to Milan. To rebuy some wines I was sold and I have to say what honesty and amazing service I had then. The best in Milan as I practically visited every wine shop on the last trip! I'll only be returning here as the service and knowledge was exceptionally deep. The wine I'm coming back for, Pignolo 2012 was beyond exceptional and a real unique experience I was hoping to take with me back home.

24/05/2025: Il Torchio has maintained its original setting (the large press and the beamed structure are beautiful) but the choice to offer a refined and alternative menu, often with references to oriental cuisines, is certainly not what you would expect in a traditional restaurant in the center of Abbiategrasso. The tasting menu is appreciable up to the appetizer, but there are many doubts about the rest, both for the spicy-peppery flavors and the quantities. The à la carte menu does not include any traditional Lombard dishes.

20/07/2025: In occasione della laurea di mio figlio ho prenotato da Blue.M nonostante non ci fossi mai stata. Collocato vicino all'Università Cattolica, ho effettuato una prenotazione telefonica. Sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dal servizio e dal cibo. Consigliato tranquillamente!!

04/09/2025: Quite a commercial place. The pastries are artisanal, good, and in line with expectations. The coffee shop and the rest aren't up to par (low-quality coffee and cappuccino), and the pastries aren't well presented by the staff. The service is average, polite. They get busy, so they don't bother with passers-by. I won't return, given the wide selection in Milan. Price is in line with expectations for Milan.

Pair it with a V60 specialty coffee from world-class roasters (think Dak from Amsterdam) and you're in heaven! Staff are friendly, passionate, and genuinely love sharing their creations. Bonus: once a month, they host French-themed dinners with top-notch wines. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Bottom line: L’Île Douce isn’t just a café, it’s a little slice of France in Milan, perfect for croissant lovers and coffee nerds! Since opening, L'Île Douce has earned a special place among my favorites, not only in Milan but around the world! As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a true French boulangerie: the counter is overflowing with croissants, Viennese pastries, and top-quality pastries, all prepared with great care. The croissants are the real highlight: fragrant, buttery, perfect with custard, and every seasonal offering is surprising from the first bite. The quality of the pastries is paired with top-notch specialty coffee, also served using the V60 method from international roasters like Dak of Amsterdam. The staff is always friendly and passionate, ready to guide you in your selection and expertly explain the preparations.
