06/07/2025: We have been Sakura customers for over a year and a half. The raw fish is always impeccable, the fish is of excellent quality and the service is excellent. The only flaw is the first courses, which have a more delicate and different flavor than usual. They have various types of menus to choose from and the price difference is well justified. The weekday lunch menu is around 19 euros, which is a little more than the average AYCE, but it is more than fair for the quality they offer. We now have a constant dish, which is the spicy salmon roll, which is heaven in the form of sushi. Highly recommended!

01/08/2025: I ordered the menu of the day. I ordered a pasta dish that was supposed to be arrabbiata, but it arrived half overcooked and half almost raw. The tomato sauce was cold with a hint of spiciness that I couldn't even taste. I assume, or rather, I think they throw the leftover pasta from other tables back into the new pasta dish, because otherwise I can't explain how one part is overcooked and the other raw. I didn't order the main course because they had three dishes that didn't appeal to me, but my colleague ordered the coppa, which he obviously left on his plate because, in his opinion, it wasn't good. To finish, I asked for a fruit salad because that's what the menu says, and I received pineapple chunks with the skin stuck to them, which tasted super sour. The service was really unpleasant. I think the owner, a lady, took our order. Rude as can be. The only one who was safe in the dining room was a bald guy who was very kind and changed my plate, apologizing for the inconvenience I had caused.

08/08/2025: I've walked by it every day for years, but I'd never been in, and now I really regret it! High-quality menu with a wide selection for just €11. They make both pinsa and rib-eye steak right now for €13. The steak is truly divine; try it and believe it! The quality/quantity/price ratio is like nothing else. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, they always know what to recommend. Epic.

29/08/2025: Restaurant in Milan's Monumental area, specializing in seafood. Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented. Very good service, friendly, and helpful staff. Excellent wines, reasonably priced for the selection. One of the best seafood restaurants in the city. I recommend booking.

12/08/2025: Before the renovation, you couldn't bring dogs in (!!!). There was even a clear sign on the door. Now, if you bring your dog in, they make fun of you. I walked in this morning and saw the owner of another dog I know. Jokingly, I told him that my two dogs had seen his in the window. A big guy with a prominent arm tattoo and a fifth-grade education sighed, "How exciting." Which makes me think he thought I was gay, which means not only is this a bar for people who don't like animals, but it's also a bar for homophobes. Given that I'm straight, I don't like the idea of a person at the cash register, who should just do her job without comment, taking the liberty of making fun of customers and their dogs. Before leaving, I made it clear to him, since I'm Tuscan and I don't mince words. He stammered an excuse that didn't hold water. If you need breakfast or an aperitif, go to the Olimpico bar across the street. They're much more inclusive and respectful! P.S. After a day, the pastry shop responded to me, trying to discredit the incident I reported as false. But I have a witness. Regarding the person at the register who uttered the words "how exciting" in a falsetto, I stand by what I said. He's a man in his sixties. Perhaps the owner? I don't lie. Everything I said is true. Instead of trying to brand my words as false, the owners would have done better to apologize without any ifs or buts. I will never go into this pastry shop again. There are plenty of them in the area; I won't miss it.

12/08/2025: It was written at the map that they are open rn, but such a surprise to walk 1,7km and understood they are closed without any warning! Nice service

24/07/2025: The place is so cute, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place for a hearty aperitivo with excellent food and a variety of well-made drinks. It was a wonderful discovery, and I highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back, because I really enjoyed it.

17/07/2025: A true gem in the heart of Milan. The food is good, the drinks are even better, but what struck me most was the kindness and professionalism of the staff!! Truly rare to find. The location is well-kept, welcoming, with attention to detail without being pretentious. It has become one of my favorite places ❤️ in Milan.

16/07/2025: Best rice&curry I had outside Sri Lanka. Very authentic taste of all their food. My daughter liked the food so much that she ordered a meal to take away for tommorows lunch 🙃

14/06/2025: One of the best Sri Lankan take away restaurants in Milan. They have a wide variety of choices mostly suitable for non vegetarians although you can also get Veggie dishes. They have also a small dining area but it is self service you can buy on the counter and sit and eat there. Their specialities are rice n curry, different kinds of rools (veg, egg, chicken, fish and Beaf), kottu roti, spring kottu and many more choices. The place is always buzzling with people and mostly busy.

13/08/2025: Great little place in the Plinio Eustachi area. 😇I often go for an afternoon break on weekends with excellent coffees, macaroons, and sweets! 😇 Breakfast is also excellent, obviously, with many types of puff pastry, including original ones... not to mention the ice cream shop! So many flavors to choose from, even super-delicious ones like the rocher, which I love, but you're spoiled for choice! 😍 So obviously...highly recommended! 😎

27/08/2025: The value for money leaves something to be desired. The restaurant is connected to the hotel next door, which is reflected in the prices. The dishes are decent but nothing special, with very little flavor and limited quantities. We strongly doubt it was homemade... the same goes for the tiramisu. We were disappointed with our meal for the price; the authentic Italian feel it was selling was lacking.

10/08/2025: Clotilde Bistrot is a wonderful spot! We had a delightful buffet breakfast here with a fantastic variety of choices, offering something for everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our experience even more pleasant. The overall aesthetics of the place are beautiful and contribute to a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

11/08/2025: I've been twice, the price is reasonable, the service is excellent, and the staff is especially helpful and friendly.

24/07/2025: Must try! Sliced horsemeat served on a metal tray (?!), literally buried in arugula and cherry tomatoes. The steak was perhaps 2 mm thick and cooked in the center but raw on the edges. Served on a metal tray, it inevitably arrived cold at the table. I think the ingredients were good (as were the other dishes served to us), but the cooking and plating left much to be desired. The staff could also be more present at the tables (I don't mean intrusive) to try to respond to customer needs (after three minutes of no one being seen, I got up to get the salt. Three minutes with a dish in front of me that had already arrived cold is quite a long time). I promise myself I'll return to give it a second chance.
