03/12/2025: The sandwiches are good. A good size and well-filled. The price is a bit high. The service is poor. The atmosphere isn't theirs to create; it's the atmosphere of Piazza Castello, which is a nice place. In short, it's fine as a street stall. Nothing more.

23/10/2025: I discovered this place thanks to the wedding of a couple of friends who celebrated their event here a long time ago. I recently returned with the same couple (and their now teenage daughter) for a mushroom lunch. A place "lost" in the plains and precious for its location but also for its splendid garden. Excellent lunch with well-balanced portions (full, yes, but not heavy), well-spaced tables, and well-preserved rustic surroundings. Worth keeping in mind for their themed lunches and dinners.

06/12/2025: The food was excellent, the food was good but nothing exceptional, and it was overpriced. The waiters were kind and helpful, but there was a serious lack of customer service at the end of the dinner. After spending €340 on a tasting menu for two, including wine (gift card already paid for), we were asked if we wanted to finish the dinner with a bitter or digestif. We agreed, and were brought a yuzu sake, so good I had to look for it online: €30 a bottle. For two glasses, they charged us €20. Aside from the price, which is a clear mockery, we thought it was free/included after a dinner like that. We finished with a €20 receipt in hand and the cashier inviting us to get our jackets from the closet ourselves… there's a Michelin-starred/guide-like attitude, but it's not reflected in the facts.

05/12/2025: I finally have the chance to review Bentoteca, a unique Japanese restaurant that uses Italian ingredients. There were two of us, and we opted for the tasting menu (OMAKASE). We were served the following dishes: • Otoro, Chutoro, Akami Sashimi (three cuts of tuna, served with wasabi, zuke sauce, and daikon); • Chutoro Nigiri (two chutoro nigiri with wasabi and zuke sauce); • Tsukemono (marinated vegetables, served with tosazu sauce, red shiso salt, yuzu, and sansho pepper leaves); • Tongue Katsusando (two panko-crusted veal tongue sandwiches, with green mayonnaise and marinated purple cabbage); • Wagyu Sukiyaki, Sweetbreads, and Foie Gras Soup Style (wagyu sukiyaki soup with sweetbreads and foie gras, covered in puff pastry); • Ichiaboshi mackerel (dried and grilled mackerel, served with pink grapefruit, dill, chervil, and sesame oil). Other dishes not on the menu also arrived, which are difficult to describe, but I've attached photos anyway. Overall, a great place to enjoy dishes that are truly hard to find elsewhere. Tasting menu, shokupan, and water: €108 per person. As a photographer, I pay close attention to lighting and framing, so I've also attached some shots. I'd love to collaborate with them on a photo shoot.

27/05/2025: Simple and fuss free chinese food! Service was fast and excellent! Tried the riso chaufan, veal with vegetables and fried duck. All were delicious!

16/09/2025: I went here for the first time with a friend for dinner. The place itself is very nice, the staff is nice and friendly. Let's talk about the food for a moment: I personally had the truffled tagliolini with shrimp tartare 🍤 where the tartare was practically nonexistent and the tagliolini were rather al dente and bland. This dish definitely deserves a second try. While the fish and meat dishes are truly exceptional, I absolutely recommend those! I'll be back to give a second review, which may be better or worse. In any case, I recommend booking 👍

15/10/2025: Weekday business lunch. Besides eating excellently and in the right quantity, which isn't a given for a full menu at €12, I found efficient service and friendly, welcoming staff. When I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

12/12/2025: We went there with friends on a Friday evening. The place was almost full. What bothered us was the service. Having ordered different dishes, it was clear that the kitchen had gone haywire. Some of us wanted the second course after the first, which arrived a good hour later, so some of us had finished and others were still waiting for the second course. Terrible service.

18/10/2025: We came here for a family dinner. The sandwiches were very good, but I expected a larger portion of the Milanese cutlet, which still captivated me. The only downside was the slow service; the waiter missed an order, and dessert took a while to arrive. I still recommend this restaurant for a taste of typical Milanese cuisine.
