15/07/2024: Il locale, ristrutturato di recente,si trova all'imbocco di un antico ponte sul fiume Oglio da un anno vietato al transito. L'atmosfera rispecchia lo scorrere tranquillo dell'acqua, l'assistente di sala è cordiale e pacata. Il menu è vario con diversi piatti della tradizione mantovana. Io ho preso un fantastico antipasto con giardiniera accompagnato da pane e grissini fatti in casa , mio marito ha optato per i ravioli di zucca anch'essi buonissimi. Ma la vera chicca è stato il pesce gatto fritto, un piatto assai difficile da trovare in altri territori: un'esperienza particolare.Io invece ho preferito i bigoli al torchio con ragù di sarde. Al dolce,pur invitante, abbiamo rinunciato perché le porzioni erano veramente abbondani . Buona la scelta dei vini. Abbiamo scelto un aromatico Lugana.

26/06/2024: Tutto quello che ti aspetti da una trattoria qui lo trovi. Cucina con prodotti genuini e ben fatti. Gli antipasti con i salumi ci sono piaciuti molto, così come i tortelli. Dessert della casa molto buoni. Prezzi onesti. Una bella esperienza.

28/07/2024: Bel locale in centro a Canneto sull’Oglio, a metà strada tra Mantova e Cremona. Personale gentile e disponibile che ti fa sentire come a casa. Ottimi i panini a cui abbinare tantissime birre. Comodo il parcheggio nella piazza adiacente. Prezzi nella norma.

19/08/2024: There are only a few places like this left: there is everything you would expect in 2024 from a place called a "trattoria" unlike so many radical chic places. Super pleasant outdoor space, welcome treat, a small but rare gesture, excellent food - the steak is super - and the bill excellent. And it doesn't matter if the very kind managers seem a bit distressed.

02/09/2024: Very pleasant experience! Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful garden in which we had dinner, even though there were people, the tables were well spaced to give comfort and breathing space. The staff were very kind and available to explain the dishes even to those who, like my husband and me, were dining there for the first time. The exquisite cuisine, typical local dishes, the orecchiette with Angus ragù must absolutely be tried, excellent ingredients, the very delicious desserts! An enviable relationship between quality and price, especially given that the portions are truly generous. I can't wait to come back to try other dishes❤️

01/09/2024: I absolutely don't recommend it. I am a lactose intolerant person and although I informed the staff of this, I received the pasta with buffalo mozzarella on it. Staff not trained, not attentive, I absolutely did not feel listened to. Result I was sick, vomiting.

06/07/2024: We were there in July 2024. Very friendly welcome and family atmosphere. We ordered the sirloin René and lamb chops. The sirloin is absolutely amazing and the ribs are very good, embellished with delicious polenta. The side dishes are also delicious, green beans in pan-fried butter and potatoes. We took the sbrisolona with ice cream, a tiramisu-type dessert, but with ice cream, and that too surprised us with its freshness and flavour. The bread was also warm and crunchy. Good choice of wines. Affordable prices. Nice environment. Highly recommended if you're in the area, it's worth going even if you have to stretch out a bit.

23/06/2024: We went last night with six people to try the place... everything was ok, the owners were very helpful, kind and with a lot of experience to recommend the dishes and wines. We'll be back, we were very happy...

19/07/2024: Absolutely wonderful in every way! Food, presentation, atmosphere, and especially the warm and genuine welcome we received . Marks out of 10?...20😆 The history of the actual building is most interesting, and the owners have made every effort to retain many original features in a stylish manner.

28/07/2024: I am a supplier who had a car accident a few kilometers from this location before a wedding service. The owner Andrea was available to lend me a hand and help me with the transport of the equipment, thus allowing the success of the service. The place is elegant, the service excellent and the staff friendly. I highly recommend this location to future spouses for their wedding.

22/07/2024: Villa used for events and weddings!! On the occasion of an invitation to a relative's wedding I was able to appreciate the accuracy of the internal and external environments. All set in a very quiet area away from traffic.

24/07/2024: Excellent dinner with fish menu, the only thing is that that evening there was an invasion of flies, it was better to dine inside. It's not their fault.

06/07/2024: Every summer, since 2020, we spent our vacation in lake Garda. And we always stop in Corte delle Rose. We never regret! Amazing food and service. The best capunsei in town. My daughter always eat it and love it (every year!) Thanks Luca, the chef, always kind and caring. We highly recommend it

01/07/2024: Davvero un viaggio nei sapori autentici di una volta,dove il fiordilatte sa davvero di latte e nella stracciatella il vero cioccolato. Gusti unici con uno sguardo a quelli più ricercati e innovativi. Moltissime le coppe proposte, con la possibilità di crearle anche a piacimento del cliente. Locale pulito,ordinato e armonioso. Personale gentile e competente. Possibilità di gustare il gelato anche nella graziosa saletta. Se siete in zona dovete assolutamente fare un salto a conoscere Angela e la sua proposta di gelato autentico

10/06/2024: High quality gelateria, many excellent flavors in trays or cones. Small terraces and benches on the square for enjoying drinks. You can't pass by Volta Mantovana without trying its ice cream.

26/05/2024: I went today for lunch with friends... very pleasant welcome with very kind and competent staff and the owner Antonella who, in addition to telling how the restaurant was born, proves to be very friendly and nice, and immediately makes you feel at ease ...really well-stocked menu with dishes of the day. Nothing to say about the quality and preparation, excellent. Specifically, I tasted the spaghetti al torchio and a fillet with green pepper, dish of the day. All washed down with Lambrusco. Followed by apple pie with cream. In the photos below also the dishes of friends. Everything delicious even according to them. Service up to the mark. Mid-range prices, but absolutely justified. Quality and kindness are priceless. I think I'll be back soon.

Personale competente e attento al cliente con un bel benvenuto di arrivo la titolare presente attenta hai particolari e al servizio. Le portate del territorio molto buone e preparate con buone materie prime. La torta della Cresima davvero ottima.... Sicuramente consigliato

14/07/2024: The internal courtyard is very beautiful. We ordered two platters (cheese and cured meats) and unfortunately the portions were too small in proportion to the price. Good but nothing that delighted us. The bill was too high for the quantity served. The staff is kind.
