I piatti sono semplici ma la qualità delle materie prime è ottima; una menzione speciale va alle mostarde, molto sfiziose e fatte in casa. Il personale è preparato e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Da provare assolutamente!

20/08/2024: It's not a cheap place, but I enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in Italy. It's worth treating yourself. The menu is full of typical local dishes. The risotto alla pilota, wonderful.

18/08/2024: We went to this restaurant for a quick dinner. Super welcoming and very kind staff, very quick service and delicious dishes!! The risotto alla pilota and the stew with polenta are excellent. We loved it! Among other things, it is a stone's throw from the central streets. Highly recommended!

28/08/2024: Ottima la location nella campagna mantovana purtroppo non supportata da un adeguato servizio professionale. Accoglienza pessima. Titolari improvvisati che non hanno la minima idea di cosa vuol dire ristorazione. Qualità dei piatti insufficiente in particolare dei piatti legati alla tradizione mantovana che sono molto lontani dal raggiungere un livello minimo di sufficienza. Soldi mal spesi. Se volete mangiar bene andate altrove. Non ci ritornerò di certo e non consiglierò questo locale ad altre persone.

17/08/2024: Posto splendido immerso nella campagna. Mangiare a bordo piscina è davvero uno spettacolo. Personale giovane e competente. Servizio impeccabile. E per la cucina non credo di avere abbastanza aggettivi…ottima davvero….ingredienti tradizionali ma serviti in chiave più moderna. Menzione speciale per la pasta fresca fatta in casa..davvero super. Da non tralasciare nemmeno la cantina…ampia scelta di vini per tutti i gusti. Siamo stati qui per un matrimonio e ci avevano già convinti. Tornati poi per una cena in famiglia, li abbiamo definitivamente promossi. Ottimo lavoro!

13/07/2024: Sopra un terrazzino con stupenda vista panoramica s'è svolto il nostro piacevole desinare.Servizio serio attento e solerte.Eravamo 4 amici,almeno questo era il nostro credo,ciò che abbiamo consumato gradito assai dal nostro palato.Pane e grissini della casa,ottimi,antipasti;salumi e formaggi vari;eccellenti,fiori di zucca 🎃 ripieni e luccio con polenta,promossi a pieni voti.Come primi,tortelloni farciti con formaggio ed erbette e bigoli con le sarde.I secondi,braciole e filetti di animali dolcemente spirati,difatti la carne 🍖 era saporito e tenerissima,Come dessert,squisito gelato alla crema con frutti di bosco.La parte beverina s'è affidata a 2 Inebrianti bottiglie di lugana Santa Cristina,2 bottiglie d'acqua potabile e caffè ☕️ per tutti. Conto totale 200 euro meritatissimi.Sinceri complimenti allo chef per la presentazione propria personale e dei suoi piatti veri capolavori d'arte culinaria.A Dio piacendo arrivederci e grazie.

12/08/2024: Booked by phone on Friday 9 August a table for 4 for Sunday 11 August for lunch. They confirm me. We arrive on time on Sunday and find the shutters closed and a closed sign until August 23rd! Excellent professionalism. Congratulations to the (lack of) seriousness.

01/08/2024: The location is truly very special and very well looked after both inside and outside. A highly respectable food and wine experience, absolutely worth trying. The swimming pools, the green area and the related services (umbrellas, bathrooms, showers, changing rooms with lockers) as well as being very comfortable and very clean, are also very carefully furnished, as are the internal rooms on the ground floor and first floor. The owners are friendly and helpful. Not to be missed!!!!

14/07/2024: Everything Excellent! We had a great time and were very satisfied with everything: food, wine and service. Helpful, professional and kind staff. The place is very nice and well looked after. Before dinner we also enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool.

04/09/2024: The only resemblance of a Spanish restaurant, for the "tapa" sandwiches, in a city that had the influence of the Gonzaga, which you can see in the attractions and also some hotels (Mantegna), I would have expected more. Decent anyway.

25/07/2024: The service is very good, the waitresses are very friendly, even though I don't know Italian, they really tried to get us to agree on dinner.The only complaint is that they forgot to offer bread or some pastry with dinner, everything else is excellent

12/07/2024: We stopped one evening, very nice place, in a quiet area. The managers are very friendly and make you feel at home. The ribs we ate were out of this world. Excellent place where you can eat well.

13/08/2024: Le parole servono a poco, questo è il ristorante per antonomasia. Struttura retro' con servizio rispettoso come un tempo. Il riso è il padrone indiscusso, il bere nobile, i formaggi sono una delizia per le papille gustative. Il prezzo è una appendice, alla portata di tutti, parcheggio in loco. Pulizia e professionalità completano il delizioso pasto. Struttura molto consigliata. Agosto 2024.

18/07/2024: Having a mother from Castel d'Ario I think I know the town and its restaurants well: From my point of view "AS A TASTER AND A CUSTOMER" this Inn is to be considered THE number 1 in Castel d'Ario, in terms of goodness and service. Managed by the owner Remo & Company, and by special chefs.

11/07/2024: Evening with old classmates...arrival at 8.30pm reservation around 8.50pm food arrived at 9.47pm...an hour of waiting to eat seems a bit too long...in general very good dishes from meat pizza up to the hamburgers and pulled pork sandwiches... the place isn't bad, too bad about the mosquitoes which at a certain point even bit the rare beef fillets... based on what we ordered and ate the prices are average...7 of us spent around €240....vito generali.do 4 stars shame about the service being too slow
