01/08/2026: Neither good nor bad, a classic restaurant offering a fairly standard but overall decent menu. Let's just say that aside from the appetizer and one first course, the rest doesn't really excite me (personal taste, obviously).

28/05/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Locanda Del Ginnasio Hotel Europa on our recent bicycle trip along the Po River. The hotel is welcoming to cyclists. The hotel staff were warm and professional. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. This is a fabulous stay.
16/05/2026: I'm reviewing the restaurant because I didn't stay.
We only ate the meat menu, so I can't comment on the fish. We had a wonderful dinner, not a single dish was amiss, everything was as good as it was on Sundays at my grandparents'. The pumpkin tortelli were almost perfect, but the guinea fowl and veal tenderloin were close behind. I'd go back again and again. I'd like to propose returning for the fish, but the tortelli are a must, and there's still an ossobuco with my name on it waiting for me.

11/08/2026: What an incredibly nice spot for the most delicious cappuccino with a lovely mini croissant! And such attentive and friendly service; I would love to come here every morning for the rest of my life 🎊
By the way, I can also highly recommend it for a top-notch aperitif. We were served the most delicious snacks with it every time!
Go here for a special experience!

You'll fall in love with that cider.

26/07/2026: Very chaotic management, poor communication between the staff and the owners when it comes to serving tables. Limited menu selection. Very high quality-price ratio for one appetizer for two, a first course, and a slice of steak that was extremely tough and not cooked as requested. The wait for service was extremely long. Having dined outside, the kitchen bell could be heard continuously and very annoyingly, considering the restaurant wasn't particularly crowded. Unfortunately, this is a sign that when the food is ready, the service isn't always prompt in bringing it to the table.
The only good thing about it was that it was open during this time because it's in the center of Mantua! Otherwise, we would have chosen something else.

07/03/2026: Very beautiful place, both inside and out. The food is plentiful, served quickly, and the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant as it's close to the city of Mantua, yet it's surrounded by a very relaxing natural setting. Farm animals are also on the website.
I promise to go again. Well done!

02/01/2026: I stayed at this hotel only on the night of December 31, 2025 (without dinner). The welcome was excellent, the rooms were well-appointed and well-equipped. The breakfast was plentiful and made with wholesome ingredients. Parking was available on site. The hotel is located about 10 km from Lake Garda. In Solferino, you can visit the ossuary, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel.
