22/05/2026: We managed to snag a table at Bice la gallina felice. What can I say? The welcome was wonderful and the food was equally excellent. They even let me try something off-menu, a lightly seared tartare, which I found truly delicious, topped with some truly sweet cherry tomatoes. The price is fair for the quality. Try to book in advance, otherwise you'll risk feeling cramped at the table.

12/05/2026: We dined in the outdoor courtyard: truly charming and intimate, enveloped in the scent of jasmine. The food was truly excellent and beautifully presented, but the friendliness and hospitality were the real highlight. We'll be back!

19/07/2026: Very nice and welcoming place and excellent service. The only thing is, check the salt in the kettle; the pasta was really tasteless. But for one night, a mistake can happen to anyone and doesn't compromise the quality.

09/07/2026: We had a New Year's Eve dinner, and the food was excellent, with prices below average for the time of year (we had visited several places). In addition to the traditional welcome at the end of the meal, I think the owner's son heard me talking about whisky and offered me (he seems like a connoisseur, not just a simple enthusiast) a taste of something exquisite!!! Truly a touch of class. Thank you very much.

17/07/2026: We got married at the Convent on June 6th and couldn't have made a better choice. We already knew about the place through social media, and as soon as we decided to get married, it was one of the first venues we visited. What can I say...it stole our hearts! We've seen many others, even right on Lake Garda, but none of them were able to convey the emotion and magic of this place. The day was wonderful, and seeing the project we'd been planning for months come to fruition was a feeling hard to describe in words; the Convent shone even more! Giovanni and Dario are two exquisite people: always present and available, but with extreme courtesy and discretion. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home, which will always be one of our favorite places! <3 Federica and Alessandro

19/08/2026: Trattoria in the center of Mantua, very friendly staff, menu with 6 first courses and 6 second courses + appetizers, I'd say an excellent location to taste typical local dishes.

16/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, stumbled upon almost by accident after reading some reviews. Excellent first courses, especially pumpkin tortelli.

09/06/2026: Highly recommended. Excellent cured meats, a very quiet and relaxing place, also suitable for families with children, given the presence of games and animals. Fast and friendly service.

08/06/2026: Quiet place nestled in the Mantua countryside. Authentic food and hospitality were the foundation of our stay. If you want to enjoy a rib-eye steak, I recommend it...even if there are a lot of you.

13/07/2026: A quaint restaurant serving traditional Mantuan cuisine. A cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. The risotto is sublime, and the Mantuan antipasti of cured meats and cheeses are truly exquisite.

14/08/2026: A lively family owned trattoria. The food was great and homemade. We had pasta and selection of cheese. Also great housewine. The chef offers a shot of limoncello to tables at the end of the night. They are very hospitable and were accommodating to our 11 month old- they really like babies. 😁
