13/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato una costata e per 2 volte l’hanno portata che puzzava e sapeva di marcio. Immangiabile. Però abbiamo compreso che col caldo fosse una cosa che poteva succedere, ci hanno anche spiegato di aver avuto un problema col sottovuoto e non abbiamo proferito lamentela al riguardo. Dopo averglielo fatto notare GENTILMENTE, la cameriera gentilissima ha continuato a scusarsi, mentre la proprietaria terrificante è venuta dicendoci che la prima ha avuto un problema ma la seconda era perfetta, estremamente maleducata, per poi continuare ad indicarci e guardarci male da dietro al bancone. I primi davvero buoni, ma per la presenza della proprietaria non ne vale la pena. Signora, se non sa comunicare col pubblico dovrebbe trovare un lavoro che non preveda il doverci interagire. Grazie

22/06/2025: Mrs. Marisa and Sofia excellent hosts.. inimitable fried dumplings.. divine dinner with ravioli al monteveronese and asparagus, sublime panzanella and desserts.. what can I say... whoever tastes it comes back... and we will come back... because Osteria al Cantone is a name and a guarantee❤️❤️

02/07/2025: Ristorante/Bistrot vegano, menù fisso che cambia mensilmente. Ho apprezzato la cura con la quale i piatti vengono cucinati e serviti e soprattutto il gusto di ogni portata. Da apprezzare assolutamente anche la ricerca con la quale certe materie prime vengono scelte per esser poi cucinate con passione. Personale gentile e cordiale, zona tranquilla. Complimenti! Davvero tutto molto buonissimo!

20/06/2025: Terrible service and food that, in our opinion, wasn't up to the standard of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Too expensive for what it offers. They even charge for filtered water. The waiter who served us was very curt and unfriendly; he also offered us one type of gluten-free pasta, only to have a different type delivered to the table without warning us. In other words, he offered us gluten-free pasta lunga, but then brought gluten-free macaroni to the table, which has nothing to do with pasta lunga. Both were gluten-free, but the macaroni was much simpler and didn't live up to what we had ordered. However, they give you a free sbrisolona. The truth is, we were very disappointed.

22/06/2025: Osteria Castel Vecchio, overlooking a large square with convenient parking, is a simple but authentic place, perfect for those who want to savor traditional Mantuan dishes in an informal setting. The appetizer of cured meats with giardiniera opened the meal with taste, followed by well-executed first courses, in particular the tortelli with bitter herbs, a true specialty of the area and absolutely recommended. The tagliata was a bit subdued, however, as it was overcooked and not very tasty: better to focus on the typical dishes, which were more successful. The service was friendly. Also appreciable is the constant supply of bread and taralli, very good. Finally, the price is another strong point: with about 30 euros per person you can enjoy a complete meal in a simple but refined setting.

31/05/2025: Very helpful and welcoming managers. Very carefully prepared traditional food with interesting choices that enhance the territory, with the possibility of buying their products. I celebrated my birthday here and I felt at home. Compliments also to the waitress. I am very happy and grateful

21/05/2025: As a traditionalist I wanted to try today's Japanese fashion. Some flavors are strong for my taste but it was a pleasant discovery. Good service, the girl was kind in explaining how the all you can eat works and the ordering dynamics. We will return every now and then to try something else given the richness of the menu

22/06/2025: Traveling to Solferino for training needs of the Italian Red Cross. We found this restaurant by chance and decided to go there. The staff was kind and helpful. Really good dishes. Bread and breadsticks super fragrant and tasty. At the end, a digestive offered by the house. Recommended place.

09/05/2025: Pizzeria tigelleria in a slightly retro setting. Excellent selection of pizzas and tigelle, with an interesting quality-price ratio. Young, friendly and professional staff. I recommend it. The place is always busy even during the week.
