06/04/2026: A charming place in a village setting where time has stood still.
We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table, and immediately made to feel at ease.
The staff were truly friendly and super kind, but above all, the food was truly, truly, truly good.
In short, I have to plan to return as soon as possible.
31/03/2026: A charming location and delicious cuisine at reasonable prices. Highly recommended, especially in the evening for the truly evocative atmosphere of the small illuminated village and the bonfire at the entrance.

22/02/2026: We had dinner with a very large group, more than 30 people. The service wasn't fast, but that was probably due to the number of diners and the place being packed. As for the food, I was expecting, and hoping for, something more artisanal, but it was still good. The ambiance is obviously Viking-themed.
21/02/2026: Excellent, unique sandwiches and excellent beer.
The place is a bit cold in the winter, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars.

27/12/2025: The meat was truly excellent quality. Perfectly cooked. The tartare was also excellent. It's a shame the potatoes were the worst I've ever eaten (they tasted like defrosted ones, unseasoned, and undercooked). I hope they improve them because it takes nothing to make beautiful baked potatoes: a must with such delicious meat!! The quality of the bread served at the table could also be improved: almost certainly supermarket loaves, defrosted and cooked. What a shame.
23/12/2025: The meat was excellent, and the portions were anything but paltry. A few things could be improved on the service, but it's a minor issue. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

14/12/2025: I ate at this trattoria for the first time on Sunday, December 7th, for the Vespa Club lunch to which I belong.
The atmosphere is simple but clean, and if you don't have high expectations, this is more than enough.
The menu we chose—tagliatelle with hare ragù, agnolini in brodo, and donkey stew with polenta for the main course—were truly delicious.
And to finish, dessert was an amazing meringue.
I was personally very satisfied, as I believe the other members were too.
Recommended.

05/04/2026: Larger space than other ice cream shops in Asola, and a lovely shop located in a busy location. They offer a wide variety of gelato flavors and make cakes and parfaits. Unfortunately, I prefer a different type of gelato.
27/03/2026: Closing time is 11pm, so we arrive at 9:45pm and they tell us the ice cream shop is closing and all the ice creams have already been taken away. Anyway, the ice cream is very good!

15/04/2026: I'm sorry to write this negative review, but I have to for everyone's benefit.
Last night, Tuesday, April 14th, I ordered two 600g chickens and ribs. Unfortunately, ALL the food, especially the ribs, didn't have the same aroma, flavor, and tastiness as previous orders, and in my opinion, they were CLEARLY leftovers from the day before, at least, and maybe even more.
I don't like waste either, but at least don't charge full price for leftovers and then end up in the trash.
Give them to those in need.
If this happens again, you'll have lost a customer.
28/03/2026: The chicken was really good, well-cooked, very tender and flavorful, and arrived piping hot. I also tried the spicy one and it was just as good.
I gave the service 2 stars only because the food came first and then the drinks, but after asking at least three people, and 15 minutes after the food arrived, the drinks arrived. Same thing for the coffee.
Otherwise, the value for money was good; for €18-20 a person, we ate well and a lot.

27/03/2026: As soon as we left the restaurant, everything was perfect: the food and the service. I must compliment the two waiters, one tall with a beard and the other short with a beard, for their prompt and courteous service.
15/03/2026: The owners are very friendly and welcoming, but if we have to talk about the waiters, we have a lot to say about them!!! While we were eating, they sat at the tables near us, hidden by the staff, laughing, joking, using their phones, and vaping (I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, but not in front of customers!!). On top of that, they started throwing tissues and placemats where we, the customers, eat, and every dish we ordered had to be called back by the kitchen staff to serve it to us. Otherwise, the food was good, nothing to complain about. I advise the owners to change waiters and hire serious people!
For the waiters, I would have given two and a half stars!!!!!!!

28/02/2026: The place isn't bad, the problem is that you can't fill the glass with ice to make a 10 euro gin and tonic, drink melted ice, you draw your own conclusions.
17/02/2026: There's a cocktail (hopper) with coffee on the menu, but at 9:00 PM the coffee machine was turned off (the machine lights were on), crushed ice for the finished mojito... so a lemonade with mint leaves arrives.
We opt for an Americano... 10 ice cubes for maybe a finger of liquid...
All this because after a 15-minute wait, we politely asked for at least a menu? No comment.
Too bad, it was the nicest place in Asola.
