02/05/2026: We arrived without a reservation, and the waitress suggested we have an aperitif while someone else clears a table. The waitress brought the glasses, and I asked for a straw. She brought the straw, which fell from her hand onto the dirty table. Instead of changing the straw, the waitress put the straw in my glass. I asked for a refill of the spritz, and she said she wasn't supposed to be serving the table. I didn't like that interaction at all; it was unprofessional and rude.

01/05/2026: Food is good but overpriced and portions are small. Not a good place for families due to the lack of kids menus and the necessary flexibility to accommodate their more limited appetite (ie you need to pay for a full main for your kids...).

18/04/2026: What can I say? This restaurant is worth a try! The food is very good and the staff is super friendly. The service alone is worth it. A pleasant stop.

07/05/2026: At Trattoria dei Colli, I enjoyed an excellent rib-eye steak, accompanied by equally delicious baked potatoes. The spaghetti with fish was also delicious. Finally, the almond dessert was very good.

07/04/2026: Excellent Easter Monday lunch. Excellent food: for starters, we ordered pumpkin tortelli with sausage and capunsei with butter and sage, both excellent. For our main course, we shared a grilled meat dish with two sides: everything was excellent and the portions generous. For dessert, we had a slice of torta helvezia, a typical local cake with buttercream and zabaglione: it was also delicious. In addition to the excellent food, the staff was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, like eating at home. If I ever come back to Volta Mantovana, I'll definitely be back.

07/04/2026: Simple and clean room. In the center of Monzambano, a perfect location for visiting Garda and the Mincio area. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant on two evenings, which was very good. Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff.

28/04/2026: I was there on a Friday evening, excellent cuisine, qualified and non-invasive staff, I recommend it at least once. In addition to the pizza I had 2 second courses of fish, everything very good, perhaps the place is a little dated, but that's just my personal opinion!

Congratulations to Mr. Lorenzo and his staff for their attentiveness and service during the party. The venue is wonderful, but the people always make the difference... well done!!!

29/03/2026: An exemplary pizza for those who love a high, soft, and airy crust; divine, it easily rivals a pizza I've had in Naples. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and high-quality, not to mention the presentation: there's even a mozzarella in the center with the restaurant's logo 🥰 There were two of us, and we ordered two Margheritas, one classic and one gluten-free: both were perfect. We spent €30 for two pizzas, water, and a soft drink, which I'd say was fair considering the quality of the ingredients and the location in the center of Mantua. What I'd most like to highlight is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff: it was Saturday night, and even though it was packed and we had to wait over 30 minutes, the waiters found a way to seat us anyway and were very understanding. I highly recommend it and will be back soon 🤗🍕
