Simply WOW! When we're travelling, we're always on the lookout for new, exciting vegan restaurants. And what can I say: Sottobosco Bistrot is probably the best vegan restaurant we've ever been to! The menu is simply amazing. A real explosion of flavour. And it's all vegan too. Everything is just right here: flavour, ingredients, but also the service and the presentation on the plate. We were surprised, as we would never have expected a restaurant like this in Grosseto. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely pay a visit to Sottobosco. Even if you're not vegan. The food is absolutely worth it!

Nice and welcoming place, very kind staff, as far as the food is concerned, nothing to say, studied and wonderful dishes with incredible flavours. Truly congratulations! Obviously absolutely recommended.

Nice place, nice environment, very friendly staff. I recommend the tasting menu to try the various courses on a smaller scale for those who try it for the first time. The cuisine is particular and you can get a broader and more pleasant idea of ​​it. By choice of the bistro, the table does not include a tablecloth or placemat. A little uncomfortable, but it must be said that the table was very clean.

The place is small and has few table seats, the music in the background is very welcoming. The bistro is truly cared for down to the smallest detail. The waitress very friendly and kind. The menu is entirely vegan and before the dishes I had chosen they brought us a small appetizer and their own bread, the dishes, as you can see from the photos, are taken care of down to the smallest detail.

I ate very well. Everything at the top! Amazing homemade seitan. Highly recommended!!!!!!

We went yesterday for the first time. What can I say, everything was perfect, spectacular dishes, kindness and competence, a very honest price. Also thank Amore for the hospitality. Keep up the good work.Go vegan!

A unique taste experience. I would give ten stars if it were possible. It was the best vegan lunch of my life. The menu changes every month. Attention to flavor combinations, presentation, taste. The temphe and tofu prepared by them, the fermented cashew cream, all wonderfully delicious. I can not wait to come back.

The place is small and cozy, just how I like it. Lounge music encourages you to silence your cell phone, or at least not to leave a ringtone that disturbs the environment. The menu has few choices, a sign that the little that is cooked is cooked well. We took the tasting menu, a small portion of all courses. I ate less than half because the flavors didn't meet my tastes but my fellow diners took care of picking up my leftovers with enthusiasm. And none of us are vegan. So I can't help but deduce that the food is good. Maybe I'll come back when there is a more suitable menu for me. Or maybe not. But the quality of the food and the commitment are unquestionable.

This is an absolute must go vegan restaurant. The food was so well made and fresh. I so liked the soup. All dishes were excellent. The pasta were a bit too salty for me though.

Whether you are vegan or not, this is one of the best restaurants in the area. The menu changes monthly and I strongly recommend the tasting menu to make the most of the culinary experience. The Chef is passionate about fermentation and Japanese grill and makes everything himself - from the bread, to the tempeh, to the seitan. Plates are superbly presented - and plenty of attention goes to give each dish a satisfactory combination of colours and textures. Service is impeccable and the wine list is very interesting. Excellent value for money.
