07/08/2026: The Florentine steak was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, melting in your mouth...and you can watch it being cooked from the window at the entrance. Excellent service, fresh, and tasty ingredients. We happily return every year.

07/06/2026: We were there on 06/06/2026 for lunch with 8 friends. Found by chance, pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff, above expectations, very good, I highly recommend it, we are from Varese.

10/07/2026: We went to this trattoria that offers typical local dishes. The place is very welcoming and fresh. The staff is truly extraordinary, very, very kind. The typical, homemade dishes were truly delicious. There are few experiences like this. Also, good value for money. I think it's the best place in the area. Highly recommended.

An excellent menu featuring traditional and non-traditional dishes, served in generous portions and offering excellent value. If you're looking for a restaurant that's off the beaten path but still within walking distance of the main squares and attractions, I highly recommend it.

26/06/2026: A truly memorable evening in Mantua. We dined in a welcoming place with a very refined and pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the food impressed us from the first bite. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the desserts, such as the slice of cake topped with fresh berries and a light dusting of powdered sugar. Everything was exquisite and prepared with great care. We will definitely return to try other specialties. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic cuisine in the city.

21/06/2026: Stopped by by chance, returning from a two-day vacation. The most beautiful experience, Antonio made me tagliatelle with the best mussels in the world, and Sara explained to us how to cook so well and effortlessly. It was another world, my heart was filled with love. Andrea

07/08/2026: I think there was little to no fresh fish; in any case, too many appetizers and not of the highest quality. The two first courses were monotonous and overall not good. The scampi were flaccid, disappointing and flavorless. The pineapple carpaccio topped with a very sweet berry sauce, as was the ice cream, which was cloying. The wine from Ca' dei Frati was good.

12/07/2026: Seafood tasting menu. €45 per person includes a selection of hot and cold appetizers (delicious creamed cod!), two first courses, sorbet, grilled vegetables, dessert, coffee, water, and wine. Everything was delicious, plentiful, and served with kindness and on time. We'll be back.

11/06/2026: We took some reviews to heart, and we did very well... Confirmed: Cute place, the (very young) staff were attentive and friendly, the food superb, traditional dishes. We tried the risotto, the grilled diaphragm, the boneless oxtail, the dessert, and above all the Merlot wine by the glass (followed by the same producer's Cabernet), all a true delight. A thrilling wine, with the aromas and flavors of this area, immediately brings to mind what my grandparents used to serve, both Cabernet and Merlot. Producer: Azienda Agricola Gianfranco Bertagna (I'll definitely need to look into it further). The price of dinner, including wine, was decidedly reasonable considering the quality. Therefore, this is a small Osteria not to be missed, where the limited choice on the menu and the courage to serve unique dishes are the distinguishing features. Second only to the "Camera dei Giganti"/Palazzo Te, in the Mantua area, ... third place: Palazzo Ducale. Date of visit: May 2025

04/08/2026: A typical modern butcher shop that becomes a tasting room, then transforms into a ready-made cooking station, offering à la carte dining. Well-managed, this experience is achieved with dedication and passion. The quality of the meat is excellent, and can be enjoyed with a variety of fillings. The famous "gnummried" are a must-try, and I highly recommend them as one of the oldest and most sought-after local products. The sandwiches are exceptional.
