28/10/2025: So I think this is my first 2 star review ever…. We stopped here on the way back of the Greenaway de Lago walk (amazing!) as per the other reviews the lady was very friendly but charged 8EUROS for an ice cream, no prices anywhere and didn’t ask for the size etc, we had 2 affragatos at 7 euros each so 30 in total. Although I don’t mind spending, the whole thing felt very ‘scammy’ and underhand. I would AVOID…. (Icecream was ok, but not the best)

11/10/2025: We stopped for coffee and a treat here. The croissants looked good and the owner advised us that she makes them herself for we bought one chocolate and one plain. Both the coffees and croissants were great and priced reasonably.

31/10/2025: Great place for bikers to stop for ice cream, coffee, or sandwiches. I'm giving it 4 stars because €2 for a coffee outside is too much.

23/10/2025: The lady at the cash register is truly rude! Coke in a can costs €4. We asked for two plastic cups, she gave us one, and for the second she said no because "she has to save them for the others." Just look at the responses to the many negative reviews... and she'll respond to this one too... but it's clear she has nothing better to do... and that says a lot about the place. 🤣🤣🤣

06/07/2025: El Pinot Grigio Gravoso estaba fresco y tenía sabores muy interesantes. El Genisia Pinot Nero fue igualmente bueno y razonable. Los tagliatelle al funghi eran ligeros pero satisfactorios. El pesto estaba igualmente delicioso. También funciona como tienda de vinos por lo que su selección es variada. Queríamos volver para una segunda noche de comida reconfortante, pero nos quedamos sin noches en Como. Definitivamente volveremos. Gracias Mille.

17/06/2025: Buena comida, pero propietario desagradable, grosero y poco alegre. Su personal parecía miserable. No hay ambiente ni relación entre todos ellos. Creo que es probablemente un poco intimidante para ellos, como yo sentía que era para mí. No volveríamos. Gran pena, ya que la comida era muy buena.

09/11/2025: Went with a group of friends who bought coffee, yet they didn’t let me use the toilet, and after I still used the toilet they wanted to charge me 2 euros! Worst customer experience ever, don’t recommend it to anyone

07/08/2025: Non-compliant product... you can see it clearly, right? REASON FOR RECALL: chemical hazard... I just missed it because I was waiting for the DIY store to open... I wonder how you can put such an important sign at eye level for a 6-year-old, and a black and white one at that... I hope and wish that the products I've bought in the past have never had a recall... ridiculous

31/10/2025: I can't believe it's still open. The service is terrible and the staff are awful. Plus, if you buy something, you can't use the restroom without paying €2. Outrageous!

08/11/2025: The prices are exorbitant, the food is terrible, and the staff is terrible, not even a smile. And then the food was inedible, in the end I left almost all of it on my plate and went to the McDonald's next door.

05/11/2025: If you come to consume an all you can eat menu, it is the worst place to come and spend your money, almost 2 hours sitting at a table for 4 small courses... a disgrace!

29/08/2025: The sushi was edible, even though there was very little choice. The service was terrible. The dish arrived after an hour. I asked if there was syracha sauce and they told me there wasn't. They brought me a sauce with lots of things in it without telling me what it was. Maybe I could have been allergic. Shortly after, I saw the syracha sauce on the table. The waitresses were rude and got angry because I was ordering one thing at a time. I don't recommend it.

22/09/2025: I absolutely will not return. I'll go further down the road or to the Giulietta restaurant, which is more respectful and professional towards customers. On Saturday, September 20, 2025, I stopped at the Umberto bar for a drink. I was wearing a biker T-shirt that read, "I ADVISE YOU NOT TO TRY A MOTORCYCLE. YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO WITHOUT IT." While I was paying for the drink, the owner, reading what was written on the T-shirt, replied, "YOU MOTORCYCLISTS ARE A DANGER AND THEN YOU GO AND KILL YOURSELF." So, given that we bikers leave money at your place, and you should respect those who leave you money (until Saturday, September 20), and I've been riding for 40 years, I'm 62, and no one has ever dared to judge me, so you should show a little more respect. The service is terrible and the prices are sky-high (the lady next to me paid 2.50 for a glass of tap water). As I said, avoid going there, and instead go further along, as there are other places. Now I understand why the waitresses want to run away to that place.

14/09/2025: It's a shame to ask for a coffee for 3 euros.... Miserable bar, terrible service, thieving prices...
