02/08/2025: Wir waren früh hungrig - früher, als normalerweise in Italien gegessen wird. Bei Mimmo's konnten wir schon um 19 Uhr essen. Der Service war schnell und freundlich, das Essen herausragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

31/07/2025: We will never go back. Truly awful experience. The dishes were brought to the table one at a time, and we waited over an hour and a half for everyone to eat together. Poor organization and lack of professionalism.

01/07/2025: A huge heartfelt thank you! We chose this wonderful place to celebrate our civil wedding last Saturday, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the first meeting, Alice and Mr. Walter welcomed us with a kindness and availability that are truly rare nowadays. They listened carefully to our every need and offered us different menu options, also suitable for those with allergies or special needs. You can clearly perceive the passion they put into everything they do, and this really makes the difference. A special thanks also goes to Mrs. Antonella, always present and ready to assist us at any time of the day, with great education and courtesy. The location, then, is simply enchanting: surrounded by greenery and tranquility. The children were very happy to be able to play outdoors in complete safety, and our guests, just like us, greatly appreciated a plentiful, genuine, zero-mile and truly delicious lunch. It was an experience that we will carry in our hearts. We will definitely be back soon! PS: an exceptional cake service!

08/07/2025: Questo posto è fantastico, quale è la loro specialità??? Tutte sono specialità ma una polenta uncia cosi buona solo da loro la trovi, abbiamo provato tutti i loro piatti , gli antipasti,i pizzoccheri su prenotazione ,le costine e la grigliata , tutto buonissimo, un posto da non perdere! Lo consiglio vivamente!!!

02/05/2025: One of my favorite gelato spots in Como! They truly serve some of the creamiest and most flavorful milky gelato I’ve had. Highly recommend the Nocciola, Cioccolato, and Cioccolato Fondente — rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying. In the photo: I went for the Mango x Nocciola combo — surprisingly delicious! A refreshing balance of fruity and nutty. Price: One of the most affordable options in the centro storico, and the portions are generous too.

31/05/2025: Una gran decepción tras una buena cena. Después de cenar en A Mundiña, decidimos regresar al Hemingway para tomar algo, ya que antes de cenar ya habíamos hecho una consumición allí. Al volver, nos impidieron entrar alegando que no había sitio y que la única mesa libre estaba reservada. Para nuestra sorpresa, minutos después vimos cómo otras personas que también preguntaron si podían pasar y el portero dijo que si habia sitio podian sentarse sino igualmente pasar y hechar un vistazo para buscarse algun sitio y se sentabaron precisamente en esa mesa "reservada". Nos sentimos engañados y discriminados. Si llegamos a saber que ese iba a ser el trato, no habríamos ido ni la primera vez. Una verdadera lástima, porque el sitio parecía agradable, pero con ese tipo de actitud hacia los clientes, desde luego no repetiremos ni lo recomendaremos.

24/05/2025: Sono di Como e da anni questo è uno dei locali iconici e migliori della città: ottimo personale, locali in stile inglese raffinati e ben curati e....cocktails ottimi preparati con cura, professionalità e sapienza. Assolutamente da provare almeno una volta!

08/06/2025: I usually go for breakfast or a snack: the food is good and, despite the proximity to Switzerland, the prices are fair. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a beautiful veranda full of books overlooking the square and friendly managers.

28/07/2025: Al llegar al interior, había una fuerte tensión en la atmósfera. Estábamos estresados por los dos waITers corriendo por ahí, cuando IT trataba de pedir nuestra comida era un servicio rápido, sin embargo ella no tomó nuestras órdenes bien porque estaba apurando a todos. IT tardaron unos 30 minutos en llegar los alimentos de TODOS, tuvimos que solicitar uno de los artículos porque no se habían hecho. Cuando vino a entregar nuestros pedidos casi todo estaba mal, aparte de las bebidas. Ninguno de los alimentos que solicitamos estaba disponible, teniendo en cuenta que esto era 10 am. Aparte de eso la comida estaba bien, pero bastante promedio. No recomendar .

25/07/2025: Terrible waiter, unpleasant, rude, ill-mannered. Birds are flying everywhere inside and the staff doesn't care at all, they fly into the kitchen and onto the tables. The food is really bland and uninteresting, one would expect the pinnacle of gastronomy in Italy. The worst thing besides the disastrous service was the coffee, burnt, hot to boiling and then soc and dirt everywhere on the cup and on the bottom. We absolutely do not recommend, 4 guests and all dissatisfied, other guests around us were returning food and the staff took the food to the bar, waited and brought it to the guests again, of course they returned it again. Disaster.

17/06/2025: Unfortunately, we can't give it one star. We came for a drink with the intention of eating there as well, but that quickly passed us by. The staff is absolutely unwelcoming; we didn't receive a single smile. The locals, on the other hand, are well received and receive kindness from the waiters, which is not the case with tourists. You actually seem to be bothering them more than anything else. Also, if you order a virgin cocktail, be sure to specify, otherwise it will be billed as a classic! However, if you point it out, they'll throw you the change. In short, don't come here if you want a warm welcome and friendly people; avoid it!
