This evening I was passing through and stopped for lunch at this cute place on the street. It was unexpected. I had the panelle sandwich for the first time, recommended to me by the guy at the counter. It was delicious. We also had a dessert with ricotta and DJ Pacoletto drops inside, which was also very good. The place was about to close, and the guy was very kind, he left the lights on for us and showed us where to turn them off so we could eat inside under cover. As if that weren't enough, he even offered me and a friend a pizza, delicious. A truly wonderful guy. I'll gladly stop by when I'm passing through, I highly recommend it.

I often go for a bite to eat or grab a bite to eat, and it's like diving into Sicily. Cannoli are my antidepressant; sometimes I'm feeling down and I go for a cannoli, filled to order. But BEWARE, they're so good they're addictive.

I stumbled upon it by chance, but I'll be back as soon as I'm in the area. I tried the spleen sandwich, and while it's a strong flavor for my taste, it surprised me, and I understand the enormous amount of work that goes into making a "simple sandwich." Reasonable prices and generous portions, the staff are helpful and friendly, and they know what they're doing. Stop by when you're in the area!

A wonderful experience, welcoming, and excellent food. Unfortunately, only from a closer look do you realize it's not a kebab shop but a humble little place, but don't be fooled by appearances; there's both flavor and passion here. The owner, though not dressed in a formal attire, exudes a love for his cuisine. Prices comparable to this one for what they offer are unmatched anywhere else. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend stopping by; it will become a regular stop.

Excellent value for money. I had two very filling sandwiches, one with spleen and one with chickpea omelette, and a beer. I was expecting a steep price, but I was more than satisfied. The staff were very kind and welcoming. A little corner of paradise in the cold Vertemate.

I found it by chance while traveling by motorbike and I must say as a good Sicilian that I found myself at home with the Sicilian smells and flavors of the past, all very good and worth trying, try the cannoli which are out of this world not to mention the classic Palermo sandwich with spleen, superlative, I go there when I can, I must say that I live in Switzerland so it is worth traveling so many kilometers to taste their delicacies

Everything was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was excellent, nothing to complain about. We had the spleen bread and the panelle sandwich. All good, highly recommended.

Let me start by saying that many fried food shops in Palermo are exactly like this: The smell of fried food gets to your guts, and the appearance (hopefully only appearance) of a place that's poorly maintained and bordering on unhygienic... The bread and panelle are good, but overly greasy; the spleen bread is good, but the meat is thick. The staff is friendly, but being greeted in a sweatshirt with a clear fascist message literally made me go hungry! I'd only go back if I'm passing through and very hungry.
