28/08/2025: 🇮🇹 Italian ⭐ 1/5 Ogni tanto passo alla Pasticceria Vago Fabio, famous for its homemade pasticceria and le brioche fresche, ma questa volta unfortunately the brioche had a very strong smell of yeast. The waitress was very kind and replaced me, but the smell was still evident. I hope they can correct this problem on the next visit, because it is not normal for Italian brioche to smell so intense. Despite everything, the place remains well-known for its quality desserts and breakfast in Italy. ⸻ 🇬🇧 English ⭐ 1/5 I occasionally visit Pasticceria Vago Fabio, known for its artisan Italian pastries and fresh croissants, but this time the croissants had a very strong yeast smell. The waitress was very kind and replaced them, yet the odor remained noticeable. I hope next time they can fix this, as it's not normal for Italian pastries to have such a strong yeast smell. 29/05/2025: Breakfasts at Vago, especially their homemade brioches, are truly special: when I'm in Como they're always my go-to. The staff is also kind and attentive and the quality of the service and the products they offer is generally really high and excellent. 10/10

09/09/2025: I stayed at this hotel with my daughter for one night. The room was comfortable and clean, and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was prepared in the room the night before. Nothing special, all ready-made products from a package. There was no cutlery in the room; how could you spread butter or eat yogurt like that? Dinner in the restaurant wasn't what I'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The menu was small, and we did find something meatless, but I don't understand risotto. My daughter's pasta dish also didn't match the Italian cuisine we're used to, and we travel to Italy quite often. The service was so-so, not very attentive, and the "greeting from the kitchen" was served by the manager without comment. I had to ask another service employee what that was exactly... I would definitely eat somewhere else on a second visit...

04/07/2025: Terrible, in everything. Never again

10/10/2025: We thought it might be a tourist trap cost wise due to the lakefront views but it really wasn’t significantly different than anywhere else. Barbara did a great job making drinks. The food was very tasty and decent portion sizes on the main courses filled us up after a long day of travel.

24/09/2025: The chef here offers a diverse menu – from italian classics with an original twist to refined seasonal dishes. The food comes in a classy presentation (deer/roe as secondi), sometimes with surprising yet tasteful combinations (uovo/taleggio 68⁰ as antipasto), most desserts are to die for (fig/ricotta tarte). Overall we were again truly delighted during our last visit in sept. '25. Quality (freshness of ingredients, preparation, originality) has reached new highs it seems. Our congratulations to the chef afterwards were sincere! (I also recommend : tartar of fassone meat, gnocchetti, ravioli, tiramisù). The service here is rapid, but not too, and always effective and friendly. View across the lake is sumptuous.

04/10/2025: It has good potential lots of games for kids but it looks runned down and a bit dirty. The movie theaters room are good. Food just ok.

28/09/2025: I went to the Arosio cinema with a friend after not being there for about 2-3 years. The parking lot was large, but there was zero lighting. The theaters had very comfortable seats, but I noticed a significant amount of dirtiness. The bathrooms on the theater floor were extremely dirty, few in number, and had an unpleasant smell. Although the theater was beautiful, many of the seats were left in a state of disrepair, with cuts and dirt on them. Finally, even if a screening ends late, I would expect the theater to still be well lit inside. But no, there was a single illuminated "aisle" and everything else was pitch black... Very disturbing.

12/09/2025: A great place to have a nice aperitif with friends, excellent food and attentive and prompt service, clean and super welcoming bathrooms, I recommend stopping by for the place, the food, the super appreciated staff ☺️

19/08/2025: Coffee and croissants are very well priced. There are tables both inside and outside. Ordering coffee on-site is cheaper. There are no envelopes, but you have a view of the queue. There are free restrooms, which is a huge plus if you're with children.

18/08/2025: Best kebab in Saronno. The pizza is also very good.

13/07/2025: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Saronno! Delicious, light dough, great ingredients, excellent cooking, and generous toppings. The staff are very kind, fast, and helpful. Highly recommended!

06/06/2025: Great beer house, great beers on tap with, great food both dishes and sandwiches. Really worth it, highly recommended.

31/05/2025: A very nice proposal: a quiet place, in a place where everything makes you think about vacation, the interior is well designed to be cozy and pubby at the same time, there is way to many option of beers to choose from, and the staff is always welcoming. I personally suggest you trying the ipa which is locally brewed and that provides that bittersweet taste that bring you to haven. Bonus tip: the burgers are really juicy.

24/09/2025: We went there to get tiramisu which they sadly didn’t have. We ended up ordering the smallest plate of tomato mozzarella for 15€ and some water. You get a basket with very dry bread for free and in the end we had to pay 3€ per person for eating indoors. The food was alright but overpriced and it felt like a tourist trap.

07/09/2025: A safe bet for a pleasant break on Lake Como. Excellent quality products, often off-menu (in season), mushrooms, truffles, asparagus, and much more.

07/09/2025: In my opinion, ice cream has gotten worse over the years, and not by a little.

30/07/2025: Elegant atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. The wait is a bit long, but the delicious artisanal ice cream and pastries are worth it. 👍

26/05/2025: Our experience was really good at the hotel; good food, good service and we really loved our room facing the lake. The view is breathtaking . Not to far away from the hotel, there is a bus stop, a little shop "salumeria" whit a very friendly owner.

23/05/2025: Fantastic views, staff very helpful, very well run room cleaning, a few shops round about we were half board and felt some of the evening meals needed to be better cooked

26/07/2025: Que dire ? Un bel endroit, une belle équipe, un service de grande qualité sympathique et finalement simple. Des mets de qualité. Le plus le patron et l’équipe amicale, parfaitement théâtrale et emprunt de savoir faire. Une expérience d’une rare qualité. Musique et lumiere qui assurent l’ambiance. Merci à tous.
