02/09/2024: We ate pizza with kebab meat and sucuk there. Both were super tasty. Cheap prices for very good quality. Friendly service. I can only recommend it.

19/08/2024: Good pizza, but big problems with the punctuality of deliveries (it's not the first time, unfortunately, but this time it was a sensational delay). The delivery of two pizzas was scheduled for 8.30pm, at 9.10pm we decide to call to ask how long until the pizzas arrive and we are told "10 minutes". Well, the pizzas arrived at 9.45pm. With an hour and a quarter late, I would expect at least a discount or a call informing me that the established time cannot be respected, leaving the customer the possibility of possibly canceling the order, it's a question of respect and professionalism.

05/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato con portate a base di pesce. La cucina è curata e il servizio è buono. La location è ospitale e i tavoli sono abbastanza distanziati gli uni dagli altri. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato .

13/08/2024: Impeccable service Perfect food I came here to Como and I found a wonderful place on the lake shore with truly perfect service, kind, polite and I repeat perfect, I recommend all the people who stay in Como to come and try the dishes, including food and aperitifs. Perfect I have been to many places both in Italy and abroad and no one made me feel loved and pampered, so with a few words, try it, you won't regret it. Perfect service thanks to Tony, a wonderful and kind man in every way, congratulations guys, every time I'm in Como I'll come back to you Thanks for everything, you are spectacular I recommend everyone to come to this fabulous place. 12/08/2024: Nice lunch. Received two Panini sandwiches. Operation is neat & tidy. Nice terrace.

20/08/2024: Had an espresso and a coke here, friendly staff and a beautiful place. On the pricey side: €2.50 for an espresso is still okay, but €5 for a coke is really a lot.

12/08/2024: Perfect for an aperitif. For €3 per person you can order a snack with your alcoholic drink. Another plus is the beautiful view at sunset.

30/08/2024: Overcooked clam pasta without salt and full of garlic. Wrong accounts. They only take cash. Cutting board with fried dumpling written on the wall not available. I'm sorry never again.

06/08/2024: The coffees were delicious. The owner is a delightful woman who took some time and helped us to understand our new environment on our 2nd day in Italy, as English is her first language, and our only language!😆 We returned for morning coffee each day of our stay in Menaggio. Looked busy at lunch as well.

18/07/2024: I have seen on several occasions a frenetic competitor make all sorts of mixes of products and tools. paying a little attention, we notice that he continues to do so, while promoting who knows what ethics and respect. here the kitchen, for better or worse, is mostly managed by the usual people of the Islam faith. so I am more or less sure that if I intend to eat Halal I will find it.

25/06/2024: I'm changing the review today because I went back to eat but I don't know.... Has management changed? The tables were dirty and the waiters were a little ""distracted"" I was disappointed because I used to go often but the place and the staff are no longer the same.... Good food but the environment has changed too dirty around I didn't like it at all

19/08/2024: Very good food, above average. Nice and pleasant environment. Friendly and welcoming staff, but twice they forgot two courses, as well as the bitters at the end of dinner. Good but not great!

30/07/2024: Accoglienza familiare, servizio impeccabile ed educato, personale molto vicino al cliente, attento al tavolo dosando bene la discrezione. Quella presenza costante ma non invadente. Cibo molto buono e raffinato. Sapori intensi. Prezzo in linea con ciò che si è mangiato. Fantastico. Andateci. Io ci ritornerò.

07/07/2024: Un tuffo in Grecia . Piatti ottimi , sia freddi che caldi. Tutto molto buono . Personale / titolare molto gentile , educato e professionale . Spiegazione accurata dei piatti, sia al momento dell’ ordinazione e sia nel momento in cui ti portano in tavola le pietanze . Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Lo consiglio , è molto bello far sentire il cliente coccolato .

21/06/2024: It remains as it was when I passed by as a child. Everything is always good, special and characteristic pastries. Even the owner is the same, friendly and kind. Excellent gourmet stop, better if you order their specialties.

31/08/2024: I've stayed in so many hotels through Italy, and this has to be the worst. As a solo traveller, I am used to paying the same cost as others sharing a room. Firstly, Hotel Silvo put me in the only disabled access room in the hotel - when I booked a double room with a balcony - not the disabled room. Secondly, the drain in the shower was blocked, which I discovered while showering. This resulted in standing in disgusting drain water that pooled in the shower floor. Thirdly, as the room is for disabled access, the shower had a very minimal lip. With the water pooling in the base, it leaked all over the bathroom and out to the bedroom. Fourthly, the only powerpoint with the plug that fits the adapters, was on the floor outside the bathroom. With the water running into to bedroom, all my electronics which were charging got wet. Fifthly, I tried to call the hotel from the phone next to the bed, inly to discover, the phone was not working. Sixthly, I reported to reception the next morning, who was very nice and helpful. However, she couldn't give me another room as the hotel was fully booked. I requested a refund, as this was not the room I paid for and all the drama with the room. Reception asked her manager to which the answer was no, they offered me a free pass to go to the 10 euro beach next door. And lastly, there are no hangers to hang towels, so had to use the shower rail. As the drain is a health and safety issue, as well as not the room I booked, a refund should be expected. Absolutely would never stay here again.

18/08/2024: Hotel Silvio is in a good location, walkable to the town of Bellagio within 20 minutes. Room was clean with great view to Lake Como at a great value. Breakfast was decent enough, it could have used better quality pastry and bread. Service was ok, except for one reception person who called me out on refilling a bottle out of the freezer water offered at reception, she said that was only a welcome drink that were supposed to drink that water only at arrival, which is kinda weird given it’s tap water jug with some lemon and mint. Bedding and bathroom could be upgraded a bit. Note that the restaurant doesn’t offer dinner, just some small menu items. overall, we enjoyed it.

12/06/2024: Excellent! Compliments to the chef and Mr. Vito very kind, attentive and friendly, I took the Complete Menu €12, first course, second course, water and coffee. Everything is good and delicious, it doesn't seem like much but I tell you that I filled up well. CONGRATULATIONS 🍾🎉🎈 I WILL BE BACK
