10/04/2026: A great place to hang out in the square. The gelato was delicious. We tried the white chocolate, stracciatella, fior di latte, and mint flavors. My favorite was the mint.

04/04/2026: We took a short tour through Italy and enjoyed our last day in town, including our last gelato – and it was the best!!! Absolutely delicious!!

08/10/2025: A wonderful place with wonderful, helpful, and hospitable staff. The hotel is ideally located, close to the sea and about 15-30 minutes from other beautiful towns. The views from the hotel and rooms are magnificent and picturesque. We were there off-season, so we only managed to use the hotel restaurant once, but we were also able to sample the delicious Italian cuisine. The rooms were clean and well-appointed.

03/08/2025: We stayed at this property at the end of June. The location is enchanting, nestled in the Marche hills with a wonderful view. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Matteo and Martina are not only delightful, but also always available. The restaurant is excellent. Paola and Flavio

08/03/2026: I would have liked a better experience, both at the hotel and at the restaurant, but that wasn't the case... 1) It doesn't seem like a hotel as advertised, but rather a room rental (the reception is actually NOT open on site). On the day of check-in, the entire property was closed, and I was about to contact Booking.com to file a complaint when, by chance, I saw a small door separate from the main entrance. I tried to ring the bell, and after 2 or 3 attempts, the owner answered, saying she was at home and would arrive. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes after arriving before entering the room. The owner should have warned us of this in the two phone calls prior to booking, thus avoiding making a bad impression. 2) I had requested a quiet room, but a group of young people made noise until almost 2 a.m., until I left the room, cursing and demanding order and respect. The owner should have reminded the young people to behave appropriately, given that they were NOT in a cabin or apartment reserved for them, but in hotel rooms with other guests. 3) The room was soundproofed non-existent; you could hear everything from the toilet flushing to simple conversation, let alone laughter and shouting. 4) Insufficient electrical outlets in the bathroom. 5) Missing mirror light. 6) The rooms are separated from the restaurant/breakfast area, so you need to dress warmly and bring an umbrella in case of rain. 7) Despite having requested the menu by email on 31, they only gave us a sheet of paper with a few selected dishes. Unfortunately, we found the portions to be small, the dishes tasteless, and the prices ridiculous. The proximity to Switzerland and/or the foreign tourists during the summer months likely contributed to this decline in quality and an unjustified price increase. After an appetizer (just a taste) for two and a first course each, I didn't dare order a second course, wasting another 23 euros. I preferred to order a pizza, avoiding leaving hungry and looking for another restaurant. P.S. After the appetizer, I specifically asked if they could throw in 50g more pasta for the spaghetti, but it seems that this was not understood... so for 50 cents of pasta they made a customer go crazy. Applause!!

11/11/2025: We ate one of our best pizza here, tried 3 differents one, all of them were really good and wow to the burrata ! They only do take away and the location is very handy to stop by and also do some groceries ! They are extremely fast - ready in just about 5 mins ⚡️ and also good prices for how good it taste ! And the staff is super friendly and nice ! What else can you ask? We came back straight on the next and sadly last day of our holiday and also got to try French fries - I’m French and loved every bit ! Will definitely not miss opportunity to go back when traveling there and recommend it! Grazie mile per tutto ragazze ✨

01/11/2025: The best pizza without going overboard in the province. Reheated the next day in the oven, it's even better, and the prices are absolutely reasonable.

15/03/2026: A small restaurant just outside the city center, charming, well-maintained, and above all, spotlessly clean. Attentive and attentive service; they always brought us bread just as it ran out. We ordered starters, which were generously sized, allowing you to try other dishes without feeling overwhelmed; the aromas and flavors were well-balanced. We also tried a main course and dessert, which were equally delicious and unique. The half-bottle service was a significant detail, as not all diners drink wine. A great find, we'll definitely be back!

12/04/2026: The Google reviews are inaccurate. The set menu prices are inflated, and the portions are very small, as you might expect given the price. The sushi is very thinly sliced, with very little fish. The tuna wasn't fresh. We asked for wasabi and ginger, but even though we ordered a portion for two, we only got one. It's better to get a pizza: it's cheaper and tastier.

08/04/2026: We stumbled upon Ni Sushi by chance in Menaggio, and it was a great discovery. The restaurant is simple, with no particularly striking decor, but the quality of the food makes all the difference. The ingredients are fresh and the sushi is very well prepared. We tried several options, including some more unusual ones, and they were all delicious. The service, provided by a very friendly couple, made the experience even more welcoming. Without a doubt, a place to return to.

11/04/2026: Good pizza but unstable prices, if I pay in cash it is 8 euros but with POS it is 9. I waited to write this review to see if it was a mistake, 4 times POS at 9 euros, 3 times cash at 8 euros.

04/04/2026: Small and welcoming, the staff are incredibly kind: they gave us a complimentary large Coke, and we joked about this and that while they were preparing our order. Excellent value for money, with quality you can taste, and prices never exceeding 15 euros. The menu is extensive, and they're always happy to help you with any combination you want. If I ever pass through Appiano Gentile again, I know where I'll stop for a quick, delicious pizza. Highly recommended.
