Osteria del Gatto In Valmorea

Truly a beautiful place! The food is fabulous, and the dishes are plentiful and truly made with care and passion! I've been twice already, and we tried the tuna tartare, the mixed fried fish, the fregola with squid ink, and the fresh seafood pasta, and it was all excellent! The staff makes you feel at home and is very friendly! I've found a great place close to home to go whenever I want to eat proper seafood! The pizzas also really inspire me.

The only flaw is that the place is not air conditioned.

We visited this pizzeria during our stay in Valmorea, where a competition was scheduled the following day, and we were truly thrilled. We ordered several pizzas, and they were all excellent. The dough was light, fragrant, and very digestible, so much so that it wasn't at all heavy. I especially chose a pizza with fresh tuna, which was truly spectacular: without a doubt one of the best pizzas I've eaten in recent years. It's surprising to find a pizzeria of this caliber in such a small town. The quality of the ingredients, the care in preparation, and the final result truly deserve special mention. Kudos also to the staff: the girls in the dining room were extremely professional, kind, and always smiling, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. If you find yourself in the Valmorea area, this is an absolutely recommended stop. We'll definitely be back!

I went for dinner as a couple. The menu was pleasant and sophisticated. We tried the tuna tartare, which was excellent and slightly larger. The first course was fregole with squid ink, and the second course was mixed fried fish. The fregole were good and plentiful, the fried fish was delicious and plentiful, and, to my pleasant surprise, there were not only calamari, but also red mullet and fried and breaded mackerel. Truly delicious! The atmosphere was average, nothing extraordinary, like a tavern. The desserts were a bit pricey in my opinion, but there wasn't room for them anyway!

I've been to Osteria del Gatto, and I have to say it's absolutely worth it! I had a simply amazing pizza: light dough, well-cooked, and quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. Excellent ingredients and thoughtful combinations, without being overly elaborate but with plenty of flavor. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and organized, which is anything but expected. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat a truly well-made pizza in the Valmorea area. I'll gladly return!

When we want to eat well and be sure not to disappoint our expectations, we go to the cat restaurant! Don't be fooled by the name, they accept dogs too 😅 but with intelligent owners who know how to handle them, respecting the other diners 😉

We only had pizza, which was below my expectations for the toppings, but overall it was good (pizza taste is subjective). The food seemed more delicious; maybe next time. Welcoming place, service a bit slow (the pizza chef was extremely slow). Parking was limited. It needs to be reconsidered if you're eating off the menu. Overall, more than adequate.

The fritto misto was excellent and very easy to digest. The accompanying vegetables were cold...did they forget to reheat them, or was that the chef's intention? The only downside to this restaurant is the noise. A constant hubbub makes the atmosphere unpleasant. There were two of us, and it was impossible to hear each other...investing in good soundproofing would be ideal and would bring the same quality of ambiance to the place as we enjoy on our plates.
