25/08/2024: The restaurant inside is really beautiful. From the outside you wouldn't think so. There is also dedicated parking. The room is tastefully furnished. The food is good, of quality. It's not the first time I've been there. The staff is typically Japanese, however friendly

24/08/2024: One of my favorite all you can eat sushi restaurants. The quality of the fish is above average, the menu is not very vast but the dishes they make are very good, especially the raw salmon ones, so sashimi, nighiri, chirashi, the temaki and uramaki are also very good but contain a lot rice, so they are very filling, excellent to take away together with the boxes at an affordable price. The price for on-site consumption conforms to this type of restaurant. The offer they have until November 2024 is excellent, for every 10 lunches/dinners, 1 free lunch/dinner

08/08/2024: We ate there on Monday August 5 and frankly it was the worst restaurant in Como. The prices are not in line with the dishes or the wines. The salmon was dry and served with boiled potatoes, without any flavor...the filet of St Pierre was average and the accompaniment lousy. I think the tartare was defrosted without any taste...zero presentation of the dishes! 2 glasses of very average quality wine 36 eur, the meal cost us 194 eur...a lot of fuss for not much really. It's really a stupid catch!!!!to avoid!!!!

05/08/2024: The dining experience was scammy. Very High priced for average seafood. They kept bringing food to the table which we didn’t order as they gaslighted us into thinking it was part of our original order which was not the case. They did this to increase the bill forcing us to pay for extra food. Finally, I extremely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You can find way better options and way cheaper options around the area.

31/08/2024: We have a wedding tomorrow and saw the party that stole the bride here before we came in… we almost didn’t come in, but then something pulled us in.. we weren’t disappointed. We shared 4 dishes like uncultured Americans we are.. but the hosts were accommodative and nice enough to accept our patronage. 5 stars. Each dish was delivered swiftly and on point for our stomaches’ liking. May my fellow travelers and wedding attendees find this jewel and enjoy their dinners as we did. Bravo!

22/08/2024: Ho cenato in due occasioni nel giro di un mese in questa trattoria nostrana a pochi passi dal confine. Ho mangiato bene. Porzioni giuste anche se non abbondanti. Della carne alla griglia non mi è stato chiesto che cottura volevo e la tartare aveva una decina scarsa di patatine fritte di contorno. Nel complesso una buona scelta di piatti. Fanno anche la pizza ma non l’abbiamo assaggiata. Non ci sono piatti specifici per bambini. Prezzi che strizzano l’occhio alla clientela svizzera. Unico vero NEO: il proprietario/gerente veramente sgradevole nell’approccio e nelle risposte. Gentilezza zero. Mi ha fatto passare la voglia di tornare, nonostante abbiamo mangiato bene. L’altra cameriera che ci ha serviti invece è stata assolutamente gentilissima, in entrambe le occasioni.

27/07/2024: We were hoping for good things tonight after some doozies so far this week. Ristorante Bilacus did not disappoint. A beautifully presented restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating situated on the famous steps of Salita Serbelloni in Bellagio. Paul had again prebooked and paid a deposit so again we had high yet cautious hopes of things to come. We were sat on the terrace and it was a lovely fairly intimate setting which was surprising as it’s on such a main walk through. The staff were AMAZING 🥰 attentive, friendly, helpful, industrious and did I mention attentive ? Our wine glasses were never empty, my seat was pulled out for me when I stood up and every request was met with graciousness. The food….the food was sublime ! We had a burrata and caviar appetiser to share - sweet baby tomatoes and the creamiest, lightest burrata. For primo I had risotto - al dente and perfetto- and Paul had Gnocchi with duck ragu- divine. We then had the fish catch of the day to share - delicate sea bass with a very manageable side of potatoes and veg lightly flavoured with fennel. Again my gluten free needs were met with knowledge and advice that left me feeling comfortable and we left feeling sated and sleepy 😂 thank you to all the staff of Bilacus - we will be back ( on Wednesday actually 😂 ) Grazie mille, Paul and Zoë

25/08/2024: At a really affordable price we ate several courses in this small Lebanese snack restaurant. All very good, the falafel very tasty and crunchy. The service guys were very kind and even offered us coffee. A pleasant discovery worth 4 stars.

24/08/2024: This time around, one of the best tiramisu in the area was a flop. The person who usually makes it was certainly on holiday

01/09/2024: Had such a delightful meal here, we came back a second night to be sure we weren’t dreaming it. Our waiter recognized us immediately and again our service was fantastic. He was engaging, made good recommendations based on what we told him we liked, and even cautioned us about the garlic in the Caesar in case we planned on (made kissing noises) 😂 every dish we tried was on-point. Portions were solid, flavors just-so, and the wines he suggested were perfect. Will not forget this visit, and we are so glad we stumbled into this alley that first night.

02/08/2024: Went with a group to eat, the taste was okay Not too bland or salty The steamed fish I had this time was delicious, tender and fragrant The braised chicken legs are also delicious, the meat is tender and the bones come out as soon as they come back.
