12/10/2025: Excellent bread, I indulge like no other. The only downside is that there's always a very long line and I can never stop. So I call and order my bread. I get it in the afternoon when there's no one else there, and not even bread anymore. They work mainly in the morning.

19/01/2026: I went to the Convent for a wedding. First of all, I don't consider it a suitable venue for weddings! Aside from the decor, which you may or may not like, the food isn't nearly as good as you'd expect at a wedding. The entertainment is too intrusive (a DJ/frontman who shouts "hands up" and "hop hop hop" even during lunch), which makes the whole thing seem like a "show," but that's more appropriate for a kids' birthday party than a wedding where you expect a bit of harmony, romance, and taste. Furthermore, at a certain point (being a friend of the couple and having helped with the organization, which I would also object to, for example, the desire to charge admission to those who came to the cake cutting, the suggestion to use paper tablecloths, the remark about small changes to the decor like removing curtains or using certain tables, not wanting to have the rehearsal dinner, and other things), I had to do the "hosting." The band arrived and no one greeted them. I went and found Nicola, who was in charge of "everything," to tell him to get them settled. The same thing happened at lunch; they arrived at the dining room and no one greeted them, and they didn't even have a table set (I went to the waiters to let them know). During the day, the newlyweds were only served alcohol, and I went to give them water (and they thanked me profusely). I don't know what role the photographer had: they told me she was supposed to be in the photo booth area, but she was constantly in front of the guests at all the important moments (in front of everyone for the cake cutting, the dance, and the bouquet toss) while the newlyweds already had their photographer (who was rightfully annoyed by the intrusiveness). Positive notes: very kind and helpful waiters, abundant and varied appetizers (though, I repeat, not wedding-quality). I recommend the venue, if they want to venture into the wedding arena, hire a wedding planner.

15/03/2026: Don Peppino is a true culinary hotspot! The pizzeria is always crowded, and for good reason: the pizza is delicious! The pizza is crispy and flavorful, with a touch of love and passion. The toppings are fresh and high-quality. The menu is varied and offers options for all tastes. The atmosphere is lively and noisy, with a festive atmosphere. The service is fast and efficient, despite the crowds. The staff is friendly and helpful. The quality/price ratio is excellent, especially for the pizzas.

15/11/2025: The fact that I could choose vermouth gave me hope that I'd be able to enjoy a good Negroni. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case: there was virtually no mixing, and the vermouth released the classic unpleasant notes that come from long-open and poorly stored drinks.

Friendliness, kindness, and customer service: these days, it's becoming increasingly difficult to enter a place, regardless of its type, where the staff always has a kind word ready beyond a simple hello for EVERYONE. That's how it is here, and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. B. Good food for all tastes: Sweet, savory, a simple loaf of bread—everything you need for lunch at home or to get through a break between university classes (the place is just steps from the UNIBS Economics and Law departments) can be found at Lievitando, and you'll surely leave with a full stomach and a smile. PS: The Pancetta e Gorgo and the Salsiccia e patate are spectacular! We'll definitely be regulars from now on!
