19/10/2025: We ordered a charcuterie and cheese platter and two first courses: homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms and blueberry risotto. The platter was the only dish we enjoyed. I can't say the same for the other two dishes. The tagliatelle seemed industrially made and, what's more, was smothered in cream (not listed on the menu), and the mushroom flavor was nonexistent. Likewise, the blueberry risotto tasted only of parmesan cheese, and the only color of blueberries was blueberries. The only saving grace for this place is the kindness of the staff.

17/09/2025: The accommodation is located in a beautiful area. The view outside the window is very beautiful. The staff provides good service and the price is not expensive.

09/10/2025: I was very disappointed with my visit to 8tto Granchi. As a tourist, I was only given a standard menu with extremely inflated prices, a small pasta dish for around €20 that was neither filling nor particularly flavorful. What bothered me most was that while I was served the overpriced mini portion, Italian guests at the next table were served generous plates, apparently as part of a daily special that wasn't even offered to me. It seemed like a clear two-tiered approach. The value for money here is completely out of place, and the way they treat non-Italian guests leaves a lot to be desired. I therefore cannot recommend the restaurant.

29/11/2025: I was there today. We had 1 pizza with mustadella, stracchino, pistachio, 1 pizza with porcini mushrooms and sausage, water, a small beer, and 1 coffee. €37. Aside from the high bill for the quality, the pizza was NOT good, it seemed like it was frozen. I asked for schiacciata (flatbread) plus €1, plus sausage, plus €1. It was ABSURD. €5 for 2 covers, no bread, breadsticks, oil. EVEN more absurd. €4.50 for a small, REGULAR beer. Second time I've been there. OMG🫣👎👎👎👎👎 P.S. EXCELLENT Service.

03/10/2025: We agree with the very positive reviews. We had a great time and felt very comfortable. Mr. Simone Mutti, in particular, gave us great recommendations every day with his German skills. The breakfast at the hotel is simply delicious, and our morning coffee is personally prepared. We would love to come back.

26/09/2025: This establishment, in addition to its suitable infrastructure and its very friendly and helpful staff, has a location at the very end of the peninsula, which places it in a very quiet environment where you can admire the lake all around you. Superb swimming pool, relaxation areas in the shade of olive and pomegranate trees, bars and restaurants on the terrace or inside, private parking complete the package. Access by vehicle requiring crossing the busy pedestrian town, or complying with a Sunday afternoon traffic ban, reinforces the feeling of being in a privileged, even protected place. The walk is king, in the surrounding parks or towards the lively and commercial part of Sirmione, but which also adds to its charm. We spent a week of relaxation and discovery there, such that we will not hesitate to repeat our visit, as do many guests we met, to the Ideal hotel.

23/07/2025: Beautiful place, surrounded by greenery despite being in the center of Gussago. The lighting is atmospheric, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the selection is wide, perfect for any time of day! Highly recommended!

12/12/2025: While passing through Val Camonica at dinnertime, I found this excellent restaurant where I enjoyed a delicious plate of "Strigoli con ragù bianco di Fassona" (Strigoli with white Fassona ragù), which was truly remarkable! Unfortunately, given the enormous portion served (I'd say over 200 grams of pasta, maybe 300 grams, and at least 100 grams of meat!), I couldn't bring myself to try the main course or dessert. I'll be back. Two years later, this time I enjoyed a spectacular tagliata di Fassona (the usual problem with gigantic portions), but I still wanted to try the dessert: it was truly excellent, too. Plus, the service was excellent and fast!

12/12/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant with friends. The food was excellent and of high quality. The service made us feel pampered. I recommend it and will gladly return when I'm in the area.
