11/11/2025: The first time we came, we were unsure whether they'd brought us more ribs than we ordered; the second time, we were certain they'd brought us an extra meter (and we'd only ordered 1 meter). The infuriating thing is that there was no apology, but rather presumption and "100% certainty" that we said, "Bring 2 meters and we'll put 1 in the center." We're 100% certain we never said that. It's a shame because the food is good, and the place is decent. But not questioning it after a table of 12 people tells you no one ever said it (everyone had already placed their order) is quite irritating. I'll add a tomino cheese I never received, a burger dripping with blood, and two bad burgers. I'm sorry, all it took was a little questioning, humility, or a step back—you decide what to call it. IN RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW: The second meter of ribs was charged without any ifs or buts; it's not a matter of money but of principle. We paid for it in full, without apologies, without admissions or doubts of guilt or responsibility, without saying "I'll charge you half." We had the burger returned; it's possible to make a mistake, but even now the presumption of having cooked it perfectly prevails. I repeat, it's the principle of questioning oneself; we would have greatly appreciated and accepted it.

24/11/2025: Sunday night, few tables available. The place is well-air-conditioned with pleasant ambient oriental music. Service was quick and friendly. Everything we ordered was good. We liked the sushi (though some of the seaweed was a bit under-hydrated, a minor flaw) and the cooked dishes were very good. Extensive menu. They could improve the descriptions of the dishes, indicating, for example, if a roll has 4 or 8 pieces. A place to return to if I'm back in the area.

09/11/2025: The dishes are good, they're quite quick, but there weren't many of us on a Saturday night, so that's understandable. I didn't have a bad experience, which is a key point! They were kind, so overall I'd recommend it.

09/10/2025: I happened to pass by it on my way back from a hike to Peschiera. What can I say, lucky me! The pizza was superb (tomato, Gorgo, sausage, and parmesan), Roman-style, so thin. The glass of white wine was also good. Highly recommended!

01/11/2025: I am keen on pizza with years of pizza enthusiasm. Ordered a Bufalina and a special Halloween pizza when my path came by this place. Taste was balanced very well, and ingredients was of good choice. The crust was nice and well made. Excellent👌

12/10/2025: I'm editing my review under new management. Good quality pizza, good service. I can see that the prices are getting out of hand. €3 per cover with pizza (it's the same everywhere now), €7 for dessert. Let's leave aside the money issue, which is a boring thing (if you want to save money, stay home). The atmosphere has lost some of its tradition, something only those who knew the old management and the ladies who served can understand. Today, the atmosphere is more youthful, and the attention to the tables could be improved. The cashier is lacking a few smiles, but they made up for it with a complimentary liqueur. That said, good work. The pizza is very good.

30/10/2025: A very unique venue, with an interesting interior design. The staff seems helpful and friendly. They offer a wide selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They also serve chips and vegetables with guacamole. The only downside is the wait: we ordered one alcoholic cocktail and two non-alcoholic ones and waited 25 minutes. Considering the venue was busy, 25 minutes seems like enough time. Overall, highly recommended.

29/08/2025: It was such a wonderful and unforgettable week of vacation for us at Carlo's in Tignale. Such a lovingly run B&B with a fantastic location, a breathtaking view of the lake, a rustic and cozy atmosphere, and culinary delights both morning and evening – something you rarely find these days. Highly recommended if you're looking for peace and relaxation away from the tourist hotspots. Absolutely top-notch value for money. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended this wonderful accommodation to family and friends.

25/08/2025: An outstanding B&B run with heart and soul! After a car breakdown, we arrived in Tignale in the middle of the night. With prior contact with the host, even a 3 a.m. check-in was no problem. A very good breakfast with a unique view of Lake Garda, a super friendly host, and the option of having dinner cooked for us awaited us. Very flexible, excellent service, good food, a great atmosphere, and a perfect starting point for mountain biking both up into the mountains and down to the lake. We will definitely be back.

22/11/2025: Always a guarantee! Everything is delicious, the people are kind and very friendly! 🫡😁 The food and drink are good. A "down-to-earth" place, just the way we like it. A 10, as always. The host's tastes shouldn't matter to you/us, the customers. If you don't like seeing certain statues, photos, etc. that are part of "Il Cioci," then deprive yourself of the good food and go elsewhere. 😎 Very simple. If, however, you want to eat and drink well, absolutely go to Il Cioci. You don't necessarily have to agree with his "lifestyle" ideals; you just have to enjoy the food. 🤗

Calling it a small plate is an understatement. A large platter filled with different types of focaccia. All excellent quality products. The smiles and courteous service added value. Congratulations

11/11/2025: Tonight we returned to Osteria del Naviglio. A beautiful and delicious Osteria in Pavia!! Located on Via Alzaia/Piazza San Giuseppe, so very easy to get to! Welcoming, clean place, and all the staff are friendly and polite 👏🏻 The portions are good, as are the dishes 😋 Fair prices! We always love coming back, so I recommend trying it!!

18/10/2025: Friday evening at 9:10 pm we opened the door and found three waiters chatting, and a couple of couples eating. They looked at us and said that perhaps it was already closed. They turned to the owner who was chatting at the cash register with another man and in turn looked at us and said: no guys, we're closed... a great experience to understand how restaurants in Italy fail if they close at 9 pm on a Friday in the historic center of Sirmione... Moreover, we were also very hungry and at the very least we would have spent at least 40 euros each for the first and second courses and wine... maybe with 80 euros you could have paid two waiters... I've said it all!!!
