09/12/2024: Thanks to one of the owners of this lovely agritourismo near Brescia, I got the awesome opportunity to visit them in April 2024. Chiara gave me an excellent tour of Al Rocol’s wine cellars and gave me an educational insight into the making of Franciacorta sparkling wines. What a labour of love this tasty product is! After the tour, I got to taste their wonderful wines along with a sumptuous plate of delicacies. The homemade bread, the refreshingly smooth olive oil, the dessert, the cheese … everything was top-notch. Francesca, the owner, made sure that everything I was served was vegetarian as per my dietary preference. What an excellent place operated by equally good people! The wines I bought from their vinothek were a great value and even greater taste. I wish I had stayed longer, rented a room in their lodgings and enjoyed their hospitality over a few days. Next time I am in the region, I hope to be able to do so.

18/11/2024: Very recommendable place, owner Francesca was very sympatetic and helpful, due to an illness we had to leave early but we will definitely come back another time. Very tasty Franciacorta and nice surroundings as well.

17/11/2024: I recently dined at Al Plas, a family-run restaurant near our Airbnb cabin. The owners' welcome was warm and genuine, making the atmosphere immediately familiar. The cuisine, based on fresh and natural ingredients coming directly from their farm, was superb. The context, surrounded by greenery and surrounded by animals, adds an authentic rural touch to the experience. I can't wait to return to enjoy their hospitality and exquisite food again. Highly recommended for those looking for a genuine and quality culinary experience.

08/11/2024: Let me start by saying that I also have a restaurant, I had dinner with you and I found a clean and welcoming environment, the dishes were plentiful and good (apart from the frozen ones) but the prices were scary. The owner (I think) was always angry and the waiter made a loud scene. You only see the smile at the checkout. I don't know if we'll be back again, A greeting

29/12/2024: The restaurant is on the lake shore with a beautiful view and for this reason alone it is worth going there. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The dishes we ordered were very good and well cooked. The place was well organised, well looked after and above all very clean. We will definitely be back

03/01/2025: Really overestimated food. One of the worst spaghetti Vongole y ever tryed. Nothing special. Just for tourist, that do not appreciate the local cousine. I recommend to avoid this place of your trip.

03/11/2024: We ate a margherita pizza, a mussel impepata, two desserts, two soft drinks and a quarter of the house wine and it was all very delicious, good service, speed and quality of the ingredients. The price is worth the experience and I highly recommend it. The waitress was very attentive and the waiter also had a pleasant dinner.

18/12/2024: I often pass by on my motorbike at inopportune times and have never had the opportunity to try this attractive restaurant. Today I went there specifically, this time by train, to check if my feelings were correct: they were! Excellent mountain restaurant, warm welcome and dishes cooked with great care. Friendly and fast staff! It's just a shame that, during the week, at lunch, they had to bow to the now widespread practice of the "Work Menu" which offers few traditional dishes, which are nevertheless excellent, except the "tart" which was rather poor. Really low prices, they accept ATMs without hesitation.

16/12/2024: Genuine dishes, everything homemade, courteous staff and honest prices. A few steps from the center and a car park. The entrance is on the street but as soon as you enter you find yourself in a very characteristic environment. There are 2 rooms, a more intimate one at the bottom (ideal for a romantic dinner) and a larger one. The equipment is typical of a classic "old-time" trattoria and this goes very well with the type of cuisine offered. Each dish is a dive into the culture of the area and almost everything is homemade. I've always had a great time there and I always come back with pleasure every time I stop in this lovely town for work. Price more than honest considering the good quality offered. Just for the sake of correct information, it may happen that after nine o'clock the kitchen is closed but that's okay because in these places you eat early. What else to add? Enjoy your meal

22/12/2024: We had dinner a few days ago in this historic restaurant in Brescia. The restaurant is located in the heart of Brescia, a few steps from the Roman forum and other characteristic streets of the centre. Small but well-kept and warm room with a beautiful ancient ceiling, original stone vaults and a huge mirror that gives a unique perspective and depth to the room. The dishes are well prepared, tasty at the right point and very abundant. Young friendly and smiling service. A place with few frills and a lot of substance that is definitely worth a visit.

11/12/2024: Despite the place being very full, the service was quick and attentive as well as really friendly. Well-made dishes and a menu that offers typical dishes but also excellent alternatives. Very welcoming environment, with attention to detail, located right next to the Capitolium. Highly recommended!!!

17/11/2024: Questo posto è perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista, se si cerca un ambiente raffinato ma assolutamente informale, cibo strepitoso sapientemente lavorato partendo da ingredienti eccezionali e una cantina che può essere figlia solo di una passione straordinaria. Il mio consiglio è: portateci chiunque. Partner, presenti o futuri, business partner, amici e amanti. Ma non escludete di venire anche da soli per un'esperienza memorabile. E se siete in astinenza da relazioni sociali ... cominciate a parlare di vino con Daniele ;-)

24/09/2024: scelgo di provare questo locale un pò fuori dalle zone del centro ma attratto dall'offerta di piatti e vini. in effetti di sera anche se in zona ci sono diversi locali non c'è movimento di persone, ma si parcheggia facilmente. dico subito che accoglienza e servizio sono stati di una cortesia straordinaria, attenzione alle intolleranze e regimi alimentari, pochi piatti ma buoni e di qualità, ampia scelta di vini, ci è piaciuto farci consigliare. ambiente carino, accogliente, in linea con la scelta bistrot. in sintesi mi sono trovato bene, serata piacevole e ho mangiato bene. l'idea è più di un aperitivo rinforzato con possibilità di mangiare qualche buon piatto e chiacchierare intorno al tavolo. prezzo non economico ma equo per la qualità che offre.

15/12/2024: Delicious experience in the center of Iseo. Ideal place if you are in for a surprise 5 or more course menu that is being prepared in the open kitchen while you enjoy your wine and food. All fish is sourced from the lake Iseo and vegetables, meat and cheese come from local producers. A joy to discover the richness of the lombardy region with a refined twist. Make sure you reserve your table and bring enough time to enjoy it all!!

23/11/2024: What a gem of a restaurant! The chef uses local produce and creates a menu based on the availability of fresh produce, so you don't know what you're getting in advance. We loved every bite and we were very pleasantly surprised by some of the unusual flavour combinations (smoked pear for example). We will definitely go back when we are in Iseo again!
