Bar Campaldo In Limone sul garda

Very friendly hosts with delicious food. The view alone makes the trip worthwhile!

The old don and donna and them chidrens running local bar(tavern).Was recommended by owner of Oasis resort. Opening hours from 7pm.Busy during turists season so we went twice and booked day before.What can I say,the best steaks ever tasted in my life,home made vine.They are growing chickens nearby,so you will get fresh chicken if ordered,again best chicken ever tasted(ordered for my kids).Very friendly family,I know language was the barrier as we speak English only and they dont.But that wasnt problem for us.Home made terramisu was great too.After our meal they offer home made Limonchello drink,which one was superb again.Left place only with good memories and if I will be one day around,will go back again without any questions. And at the end I will say that the prices are affordable and that it would cost twice as much to eat at a restaurant by the lake. Kind Regards,

A fantastic place to spend wonderful moments in a restaurant run by elderly people. Very friendly and helpful. I've been here year after year for steaks, and I've never eaten anywhere so good and so large. I won't go into detail, because next year I won't have room for it. 😁 Thank you very much to the owners for their hospitality, see you soon, Adam.

The view and service were excellent. The food was only average, although the polenta was delicious. Overall, it was too expensive.

Bar Campaldo is definitely one of my favorite places in Limone, even though the walk up there can be strenuous, here you will encounter hospitality beyond all limits, delicious food and a fantastic view of the lake.

The owners are great people, we had a wonderful time, great service, and delicious food. We had to share the large portions. Beautifully situated with a view of the lake 👌
