13/02/2025: Incipit is a fantastic spot with a charming covered garden—perfect for enjoying drinks in any weather. Their cocktail menu is truly unique, designed around famous books, which adds a creative and literary twist to the experience. I tried the Copperfield cocktail with gin, and it was as enjoyable and refreshing as reading the novel itself. The menu is beautifully crafted, both in design and concept, making it a joy to explore and choose from. It’s also a great place for international visitors, as the staff speaks English fluently, making communication easy and welcoming. Plus, the owner is incredibly friendly and adds a personal, warm touch to the atmosphere.

14/06/2025: We firstly called the place and no one answered then arrived at 18:30 as it is when it opens and the waitresses were still arriving. We waited outside the door for +20 minutes, waitresses still passing by us (arriving late), and after we waited all that time then they decided to tell us that they are fully booked (outside). We then asked if there are any available seats inside and then they revealed to us that “they do not have enough staff”. A complete waste of time.

08/06/2025: We came from Romagna for a weekend in Brescia and its surroundings, opting for this restaurant that was still well presented. As soon as we arrived we ordered from the waiters, who immediately showed themselves to be helpful. The problem was when the appetizers arrived, of which I leave you the photo below; for these two mixed cutting boards that were to say the least meager, we paid the beauty of €30, a price totally out of the market also considering the very simple location, as the place presented itself as a trattoria. For the rest we ate some decent first courses (the fish ones were good), but nothing special, also considering the price/quantity ratio. Once lunch was finished, we went to pay, making the "appetizers" issue known in the appropriate manners to the owner, who immediately railed against us without half measures, triggering a completely physiological reaction from our group. The whole thing turned into a show worthy of the worst trash TV, with the owner (and also her partner) who, among other things, invited us to go eat at McDonald's and, instead of taking a small step back in the face of an unjustifiable price, they defended their appetizers to the bitter end, justifying everything with the supposedly high price of the mustard and the superb quality of the ham, which frankly we did not notice. Basically, if you ever pass by, avoid the appetizers like the plague and also any type of confrontation, even constructive, with the owner. A hug from Romagna

02/06/2025: This was a perfect one-night stay while cycling round Lake Iseo. Old school family business. It's right on the lake so there is traffic. This doesn't bother me but don't book it if you want silence. Or bring earplugs. For less than 100 Euros I had a nice single room with balcony and lake view, bike storage, good hints about what to visit on my lake tour, a single course supper with wine and water and a plentiful breakfast, simple - but excellent range of CAKES a bonus. Eating al fresco with lovely views. Little green space just opposite where I swam on arrival after a warm day's cycling. I'll stay again when next visiting Lake Iseo!

26/05/2025: I want to renew my positive review for the restaurant. Kind and attentive staff. Excellent chef, a gentleman with a lot of passion that he puts into every dish. Menu at 15 euros weekdays for lunch really excellent with elaborate dishes with fish and meat first courses, and fish and meat second courses, 1/2 water and coffee, lake view. Go I recommend it

28/06/2025: There are experiences that leave a mark. Mr. Diego's pastry shop is one of those businesses that - for better or for worse - do not go unnoticed. His FAME precedes him, the place is well-known, appreciated, recognized. Those who work in hospitality, and know its mechanisms, immediately recognize the value of a job done with their hands... and with their HEAD. And for this very reason, it made us THINK. Because when you find yourself judging the commitment of others, you need balance. You need empathy. We all have a family, we all get up early in the morning, we all deal with customers, suppliers and reviews. But excellence - the real kind - is not measured in a day, nor can you compare a business with twenty years of history with one that has just started walking. In our parts, when certain things happen, we confront each other. By voice. With courtesy. Maybe in front of a plate of fish, or with a glass in hand. Not to threaten - that's not our style - but to share. AND BELIEVE ME, when we share, we do it well: between US we talk, we listen, we tell. And when something STRIKES us – in one sense or another – it NEVER remains among a few. Then it happens that someone suggests: “Why don’t we all go and try this place? Maybe in spring, or even earlier.” And you understand how much one voice can weigh, among so many. And yet it doesn’t have to go that far. A number can be changed with a single gesture. Silent. Elegant. And there’s no need to talk about it at home, on the contrary: certain choices, made independently, even have the feel of maturity. Because a MAN who reviews a wrong decision, and CORRECTS it alone, shows more courage than those who cling to pride to avoid giving explanations. Here we are not asking for revenge. We are only asking not to HURT those who are trying to GROW, perhaps stumbling here and there, but always with their heads held high. And if one day there will be a way to really come and SEE YOU – in a GROUP, with enthusiasm, with ESTEEM – know that we will be READY to applaud your excellence… but only if the air is serene. Because where there is tension, we do not stop.

11/05/2025: Generally excellent service (we have been coming for many years, an oversight can happen occasionally, especially when the place is full) with welcome prosecco, focaccia to wait for the course and biscuits with coffee. I recommend the fish, excellent and very generous portions!

23/03/2025: Family dinner, on Friday. We ate first courses, second courses and a pizza. All very good! Generous portions. Carefully prepared and particular dishes. (The fantastic agnolotti, the stockfish with polenta, finger-licking good) Nice place, clean bathrooms. Friendly and fast service.

31/05/2025: We were guests in the two comfortable apartments of the hotel. We had a great time. Excellent structure kept with cleanliness and love. The breakfast buffet is also good and plentiful. The possibility of keeping the motorcycles inside the private garage was also much appreciated. A special thanks to Simone and his wife for their welcome.
