15/09/2025: Three stars – the food was okay, the sage ravioli was actually really good. The service, however, was disappointing: Just 5-10 minutes after we were sent away without a reservation, two other guests were politely given a table without reservations. Perhaps Brasa has a certain "regular customer priority" – we ended up eating between the cars in the parking lot. And honestly, sage ravioli tastes surprisingly good even there. Update: The restaurant responded very professionally and kindly to my criticism and promised to improve. I really appreciate that and will definitely give them another chance when the opportunity arises. —- Here's the details again: Yesterday, Sunday lunchtime, two of us with a baby went to Ristorante Pizzeria Brasa. The restaurant was quite full, which is perfectly normal for a Sunday lunchtime. However, the first waitress asked us rather rudely in Italian about five times whether we had a reservation. Finally, another waiter explained that they didn't have room for the two of us without a reservation. We were at least able to order takeout to eat up at the parking lot – rustic, but ultimately probably more relaxed. While I was waiting for the food and had already dropped my family back at the parking lot, two other guests came in without reservations, were asked "how many people?", and were shown directly to a table – just 5-10 minutes after we were turned away. I found that quite rude and unfair, and that's why I'm writing this review. There was also confusion with the cutlery: When I asked, I was initially told "Yes, of course," but when I picked it up, they suddenly said they didn't have any. Luckily, we were allowed to borrow two forks and return them later. About the food: Unfortunately, there was no pizza for lunch, so we had pasta. The spaghetti was barely seasoned, but the ravioli with sage, on the other hand, was really good. Conclusion: Three stars for the food, but the service and fairness deserve one star at most. Given the reputation and prices of the restaurant, I would have expected more professionalism.

06/08/2025: We ordered a family pizza, which arrived in 10 minutes, right at the nearby park! Delicious pizza, and the girls were so happy!

04/08/2025: Exceptional takeout pizzeria. Pizzas made with authentic ingredients, friendly staff, and prompt home delivery. Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: The best of the best. You can feel the passion for the profession. The quality of the food is excellent, and the pizzas are out of this world, with all the doughs. The courtesy is always top-notch, and the staff's smiles are a constant and delightful companion.

19/09/2025: The pizza is truly excellent – ​​you can tell the pizzaiolo knows his stuff. The dough is light, well-fermented, and very tasty. A nice option is the option of choosing whole-wheat dough, which is rare and a plus. I haven't tried the pasta, so I can't comment on it, but as for the pizza – I highly recommend it. And the chocolate cake for dessert is an encounter with the divine :)

19/09/2025: We both had Ravioli, we actually didn't realise that they were closed for lunch, but they still served us with a smile. Food was excellent, it was that good, my wife ordered another Pumpkin Ravioli. Very friendly waitress, and helpful.

19/09/2025: Small, cozy restaurant with a huge wine list and homemade pasta. I had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The pasta was al dente and perfectly salted. The sauce with the porcini mushrooms was divine. We only drank water, as we're not wine drinkers. They apparently serve beer, but I didn't see it on the menu. You can always ask. All in all, a very good meal and a successful evening. The service was very friendly and professional. Treat yourself to the tiramisu or another homemade dessert. 5 stars! We'll definitely be back.

03/10/2025: We treat ourselves to this dining experience once a year. It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades. Add to that the attractive interior design and exquisite tableware. The service is top-notch and completes the feel-good atmosphere. We'll see you again on your next stay in Gargnano. 24/06/2025: Super nice little winery. Gabriela is fantastic, so friendly and lovely. We tried a lot and bought a lot because the food is so delicious here 😂 If you want to eat, you have to let them know in advance or make a reservation via the website. My favorite is Irma – who or what she is – go there and find out. :) Happy enjoying!

19/06/2025: Without a doubt the best winery in and around town! A must visit if you are in the area. We stumbled upon this amazing winery yesterday and although it was about to close we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness by host we instantly knew we had to come back. And we are glad we did Today we returned and were treated to a great experience. Delicious wines, amazing olive oil, home made charcuterie, great cheese and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel home. We’ll definitely be back!

09/10/2025: We stay 2 Days from 29/09 till 01/10 /2025 this time!! It was not the First Time and we will come back more times! We stay in the upper Dobble room with Balcony and seevieuw. The brackfast is excellent ,service quick and the personal frendly. We tanks "Emma" and hope she become no more acidents in the Kitchen!

08/10/2025: It was a very positive experience staying at the Europa Hotel, which in my opinion is much better than a three-star hotel! It offers free parking and the breakfast is very generous! It's located right on the lakefront. We were even assigned a lake view room, and I really enjoyed the view of the sunrise!

03/09/2025: Really nice place - great fresh food, fast service and friendly staff. We also appreciated that we’ve been given a table 15 min before the closure!

29/09/2025: By pure chance, we found this place on a map near where we were staying, and it was a wonderful discovery. What's most striking is the extreme attention to detail, both in the food (we decided to try the off-menu dishes featuring seasonal ingredients, all truly excellent and unpredictable) and in the location and the very intimate and welcoming atmosphere. It's a shame we live so far away! We hope to return soon!

12/09/2025: We organized a dinner at this little restaurant and we were all satisfied in every way! Excellent food! Prepared with simplicity, innovation, and clear flavors. Attentive service and a sweet, sincere courtesy (not artificial like in many places). Serene location. I felt at home. A feeling that's not easy to create and convey. Truly honest and fair prices. 01/09/2025: After hours of walking we stopped for lunch with friends....I ate some top-notch pizzoccheri and a tender venison steak....the owner was very friendly and helpful....I will definitely return, also for the wonderful view.

15/10/2025: The food is excellent, not only for its cooking style but also for the quality of the ingredients. Every dish is delicious, and you leave feeling satisfied and full thanks to the generous portions. The desserts round out the experience perfectly. The staff is also quick and friendly. The restaurant opened recently, and unfortunately, it's not wheelchair accessible; that's the only downside. We hope this can be corrected soon, as this restaurant is truly worth a visit.

15/10/2025: I'm sorry, maybe we had an unlucky evening, but honestly, my partner and I were disappointed even though we'd been wanting to try this place for years. Our table was under the air conditioning, with the cold air blowing hard on our necks. I almost embarrassedly asked to be relocated (which was done halfway through the meal). The lady taking orders arrived after 30 minutes, and while we were ordering, she was chatting with other tables or the waitress without even looking at us. We ordered a Franciacorta, but it was sold out, and instead of offering us an alternative, she looked at us as if she were missing the train and we should have already planned a second wine (?!?!?). The Franciacorta we ordered arrived warm, and we had to ask for a cooler. Perhaps this precondition prevented me from enjoying the meal, which I didn't find exceptional at all (seven-course appetizers, seafood carbonara, and spaghetti allo scoglio), but honestly, I wouldn't return. I've worked in restaurants too, and I understand that you can't always do everything perfectly, and that with a full restaurant there can be some mix-ups, but it seemed a bit too much. Oh, and the final bill was €180.

11/09/2025: One of three restaurants in the town, they turned away our large group of Americans as the kitchen was closing but some friends ate there earlier in the day and loved it.

04/09/2025: Homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli, Fabulous grilled meats, and last but not least, the amazing whitefish.

06/09/2025: Wonderful place, excellent food that changes daily. Every time we come here on the lake, my wife, and our Cokerina, we come often. Monia is very fast and kind, as is all the staff. The chef comes among the customers to make sure everything is fine. We highly recommend this place with its stunning view of the lake. Excellent prices and quality. Even though we're from Liguria, it's one of the few places we appreciate more. Thanks for everything. We will always return whenever possible. Maurizio, Emanuela, and Nerina

06/09/2025: Very easy one night stay. Bus was delayed but Monia was very accommodating with late check in. She also allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I explored the area the next day. I didn't have a lake view room but the outdoor patio was perfect to look over the lake and stargaze at night. Thank you
