02/08/2026: Sunday lunch with a heated argument in the kitchen in the background, starter of bresaola, arugula and a mountain of parmesan (grated and not even fresh), passable fried perch fillet and generous portions, polite and professional young waitress, calling it a restaurant is an exaggeration, a place from the 80s that is poorly kept.

02/08/2026: Unfriendly on the phone because I didn't speak English. A long wait before we could order, and then a very long wait for food and drinks. When the dessert was brought, there was no room on the table because the plates hadn't been cleared yet. A grumpy look let me know that I was supposed to hand her the plates (she could have just asked). When paying, a very unfriendly lady in sunglasses was typing the amount into the card machine. Without any contact. The atmosphere gets two stars because it does look cozy. The pizza with baked ricotta was very tasty, but because the starter was a huge mountain of dough lumps, we couldn't finish it. It also didn't arrive until almost an hour later. Worthless.

15/07/2026: We tried the €10 menu, but for four people, it was a surprise €64. The prices weren't very clear: first course, second course, side dish, and fruit. The inside of the restaurant had poor air conditioning, slow service, unclear menu prices, and the food was decent. It's not worth trying again.

20/05/2026: Excellent aperitifs, Franco is a character worth knowing. Courtesy and friendliness are their strengths. Highly recommended for aperitifs and lunches. Well done guys!

05/08/2026: Beautiful terrace by the lake, that's why people come here, but the food is just average and rather expensive, though you're paying for the view. The service was incredibly slow; I honestly thought I'd never get my two scoops of ice cream because the restaurant also serves as an ice cream parlor for passersby, who apparently take priority over customers.

03/08/2026: My partner and I went for dinner. We had the Florentine menu with a cold cuts appetizer and giardiniera. The cold cuts were delicious, and the homemade giardiniera was not at all acidic, truly excellent. The staff was super attentive, even for my celiac partner. The bread and breadsticks were gluten-free. Excellent Lambrusco wine. The Florentine steak was simply perfect. Cooked to perfection. The quality of the product was exceptional. Highly recommended.

02/08/2026: I had been there several times years ago and it was exceptional... you ate a super Florentine steak served with many types of salt on stone trays... now... slow, very expensive prices and unsatisfactory food given the price... (I ordered a Florentine steak... they didn't ask for it to be cooked but the least served only with cooking salt but charged €75 per kg... excessive... tough fillet and not very satisfying given that it usually melts in your mouth) I had a super memory, too bad...

24/04/2026: 📍 I discovered this tiny takeout pizzeria in the center of Chiari, and after my first taste, I can already say it's my favorite. 🤌 For those looking for pizzas made according to the (authentic) Neapolitan tradition, you can complete your search at SoleLuna. 👨‍🍳 Say goodbye to asking for authentic variations (often dubiously executed) as you're used to at classic "Bresciana" pizzerias; here you'll find only two shapes: classic, with a pronounced crust, and "cartwheel," which is 36cm in diameter (+€2 surcharge). 🌱 We appreciated the presence of one (or more, depending on the pizza chef's imagination) vegan options on the menu. 💡 Tip: if there was an option to also order it with vegan mozzarella/stracciatella (like the excellent almond-based products from DreamFarm), it would be truly the best 🤤

04/01/2026: A trattoria with an authentic flavor of times gone by. The decor isn't particularly modern, but fortunately it has maintained its strong tradition intact. The tradition of good, indeed excellent, authentic food is served with passion and professionalism in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

20/06/2026: A very nice place serving Lebanese cuisine accompanied by a selection of cocktails, craft beers, and interesting wines. All excellent. Suitable for a casual dinner and, of course, an aperitif. In the summer, the outdoor garden by the river is very beautiful and relaxing. Very helpful and friendly staff. We've also tried takeout several times (due to various lockdowns) and I must say it's always been perfect. We've been coming here for years now and have ALWAYS had a great time.

08/06/2026: Convenient restaurant, I wouldn't say the same for the vegetable buffet, little choice and the vegetables not replenished... the very comfortable atmosphere, almost like a family, I wouldn't say the same for the service... a less sullen face would be more comfortable... when you are face to face with the customer... it would be a must... you never know who is sitting down... very good price.

01/05/2026: The very professional and knowledgeable maître d' deserves praise. We found some of the dishes a bit off, but they were passable. It's a shame because the look was inviting. The small internal parking lot is convenient. The bill was fair and the prices reasonable.

30/07/2026: We stayed for a couple of nights in May at the Green Hotel Genzianella and overall had a positive experience. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and welcoming, nestled in a quiet and relaxing setting. We were also very pleased with the food, with well-prepared and delicious dishes. The only downside was the service, with a grumpy and robotic waiter; his annoyance with us was clear. Furthermore, when it came to the final bill, we would have expected Samuele to at least show some attention to the customer, even a symbolic one... but no discount, not even 44 cents. Overall, a great experience.

31/05/2026: Very well-kept and clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. I was very disappointed with my room assignment. I booked a junior suite, and upon check-in, I was given a triple room of ridiculous size. Samuel was personally unpleasant and almost annoyed by my comment. Bob, I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I blame Booking.com, but the real fault lies with the room management team. Terrible.
