At lunch they only offer first courses (homemade gnocchi or pasta with 5/6 different toppings) with a fixed menu, 1 first course, bread, water and coffee for 11 euros. Possibility of combining a platter of cold cuts or cheeses or mixed.

22/07/2025: I visited Bauscia based on a recommendation, but my experience was completely ruined by the female cashier with long hair and black glasses. She was arrogant and noticeably unfriendly, unlike the other staff members, who were all courteous and welcoming. She didn’t welcome customers properly, and more importantly, I paid in cash and she knew that I wasn’t familiar with euros. I later realized that she had intentionally shortchanged me. It didn’t seem like an honest mistake, and I suspect this may not have happened to me alone. The owner of the restaurant should be aware that this female staff member is damaging the reputation of the restaurant.

04/07/2025: Good pizza, it's practically an institution among the takeaway pizzerias in the area. I give 4 stars and not 5 for two reasons. The first is that they don't have vegan mozzarella, it's a shortcoming that can easily be overcome. The second is that sometimes they deliver very late.

22/06/2025: Osteria Castel Vecchio, overlooking a large square with convenient parking, is a simple but authentic place, perfect for those who want to savor traditional Mantuan dishes in an informal setting. The appetizer of cured meats with giardiniera opened the meal with taste, followed by well-executed first courses, in particular the tortelli with bitter herbs, a true specialty of the area and absolutely recommended. The tagliata was a bit subdued, however, as it was overcooked and not very tasty: better to focus on the typical dishes, which were more successful. The service was friendly. Also appreciable is the constant supply of bread and taralli, very good. Finally, the price is another strong point: with about 30 euros per person you can enjoy a complete meal in a simple but refined setting.

04/07/2025: We had a great time. The dishes are refined and very good. The first courses are cooked to perfection. The dessert is also excellent. Numerous vegan alternatives, do not expect the usual sad salad with two random vegetables.

27/05/2025: Una trattoria semplice, che propone una cucina altrettanto semplice. Abbiamo preso un simil gnocco fritto con salumi e la tagliata di roast beef. Niente che lasci a bocca aperta, ma comunque buono nella sua semplicità.

26/05/2025: Questa trattoria situata nella piazza principale di Castelletto di Branduzzo, offre un'ampia scelta di piatti, tutti tipici e caserecci. Molto buoni anche gli hamburger ed i dolci. Il personale gentile e sempre disponibile. Prezzo assolutamente in linea. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

06/07/2025: The starter was worth 5 points, absolutely fantastic! The pizza was tasty but very thin. The fries were also great, but the beef fillet was a bit too dry. It's definitely worth a visit!

29/06/2025: Perfect! Very good service – we ate everything freshly made and it was quick – delicious pasta, great fish dishes, and pizza with something for everyone – highly recommended. In high season, you should make a reservation as it's usually full. We'd love to go back ❤️

21/06/2025: I tried the take-out marinara. The dough is not bad and the cooking is just right, but unfortunately the topping leaves a bit to be desired. In my opinion, there is definitely too much tomato and the consistency is excessively liquid, so much so that it is difficult to eat the pizza without it falling apart. A pizza that in my opinion has potential, but that needs to be rebalanced a bit.

21/06/2025: We booked the day before, I received a message in which punctuality was kindly requested. When we arrived at the place they did not accompany me to the table but asked me to wait because in reality we realized that our table was not booked, but was occupied by another person who was finishing dinner; we were asked to wait ONLY (with an annoyed attitude and without apologizing) for the person to finish the coffee... at that point we left and we give you a piece of advice: you do not need to book!!!!

12/07/2025: Wonderful place inside an ancient courtyard! Excellent quality ingredients, simple and authentic, in dishes that are beautiful to look at but, above all, delicious to taste. The service is also attentive and friendly: a real treat! Highly recommended!!! We'll be back!

21/06/2025: Right behind piazza vittoria, a stone's throw from the metro. The location is small but super welcoming. I drank a good coffee and ate an exquisite cannolo, I recommend it.
