31/05/2026: Best pizza in all of Genoa! The steak tartare is fantastic too! Whenever we're in the area, we come here to treat ourselves! Highly recommended!

26/06/2026: A family-run trattoria just above Sori. The location is nothing short of fabulous; believe me, you'll fall in love right away! But let's move on to the food: excellent, familiar dishes but executed very well. Of course, don't miss the famous stuffed focaccias, each one better than the last. Also noteworthy is the pork cheek, so tender you don't even need a knife. The price is reasonable, around €30 per person. The owners are very friendly. Reservations are highly recommended!

24/07/2026: A very good little restaurant. It exudes sincerity, kindness, and authenticity. And above all, it's very good.

24/07/2026: The restaurant is small, located in the alleys of Genoa's historic center. It can get a bit lost, but it's absolutely worth it. The menu offers a wide variety of meat and fish, with a Peruvian mix that adds a special touch to each dish. The octopus with potatoes and coriander oil deserves special mention; it's tender and very tasty. Off the menu, there was a Genoese-style seafood pasta that was sublime, beautifully cooked al dente, with a very pronounced onion flavor. Impeccable service, and the price perfectly matched the quality of the dishes. I highly recommend it.

18/05/2026: The kebabs, döner, and baklava for dessert were all excellent in terms of taste and portion size. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are very hospitable. Definitely worth a visit.

12/07/2026: As we enter we say hello and 5 of them look at us without answering as if we were already disturbing us, we say hello thinking maybe they didn't hear and they say hello, I ask for a margherita with the added stracchino and she then replies with a red stracchino, I look at the menu the red stracchino is made up of tomato and stracchino and I tell her: no then a stracchino plus mozzarella please, (but it's not difficult in my opinion to understand a margherita plus stracchino) I get it and I find the sauce acidic and that's okay, the other person takes a giada with a pinsa base, we pay for mine they charge us 7.50 + 1.50 for the charcoal base = 9 when the exact same one (tomato mozzarella but with gorgonzola instead of stracchino) is 6.50, the giada would cost 9 + pinsa base 3 = 12 instead on the receipt it says giada 11 + pinsa base 3 = 14 and already it's not clear why, the cover charge is 2 euros per person which There's only one paper placemat, and for a water, a Coke, and a coffee, we spent 35 euros. The place is completely gray, from the chairs to the walls, to the napkins and the placemat. In response to the owner, I find it strange how someone can come in and say hello and still be rude. However, you, who don't respond and, in any case, aren't the first to greet customers who enter when the place is empty, consider yourselves respectful and kind. I apologize for the prices. I had read the outside menu and the large one, and I didn't think the prices would be increased when the service charge is already two euros per person.

04/07/2026: Really cool spot in one of the old palaces. Great cocktails and aperitivo platter! Definitely recommended. I would recommend making a reservation, though, as it can get busy!

10/07/2026: We were looking for a traditional place to eat pesto and farinata, and we found it. We were surprised that in such a touristic area even locals were dropping by to enjoy the a sizing food that is served here. Service was excellent, my wife is pregnant and they were very clear about how they treat and cook all the dishes that we ordered. The food was amazing, pesto and pasta with nuts sauce. Panna Cotta al basílico was the cherry on the top of the cake. I’m not giving 5 starts in atmosphere cause there was no AC. Nevertheless that does not ruin the experience.

01/07/2026: A place where you always feel at home! The food is truly excellent (the farinata is incredible), carefully prepared and full of flavor, but the real added value are the owners and the staff: wonderful people, incredibly kind and always super welcoming. I go there at least once a week with immense pleasure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!

06/03/2026: I stopped by this bakery to buy some Genoese focaccia to take to relatives. The product was good and of high quality. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the sales assistant. I had purchased two trays of focaccia and politely asked if it was possible to divide them into three bags because I needed to distribute them to family members. The request was met with a rather rude response that left me truly surprised. I understand that working behind the counter can be intense, but a little courtesy towards customers always makes a difference. It's a shame, because with a kinder attitude, it would have been a much more pleasant experience!

16/07/2026: I had an absolutely wonderful experience during the pesto cooking class with Biti. Every step of making the pesto was explained with care, and the whole experience felt joyful, and inspiring. The pesto we prepared was absolutely delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. Thank you, Biti, for sharing your passion, your culture, and your kindness (and also for being so patient with my elementary italian). This was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone who wants to discover the real taste and spirit of Italy. Grazie mille! È stata davvero un’esperienza fantastica!

05/04/2026: The fish was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the pasta was also excellent with great flavor. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had and a perfect way to end dinner. The waiters were incredibly kind and attentive and made us feel very welcome. A place I would happily come back to.

01/04/2026: Unexpected flavors and unusual pairings: I was invited to a colleague's retirement party and was delighted to discover a restaurant I would call niche. It's not your average fare: delicate flavors and melt-in-the-mouth dishes, top-quality ingredients, and the service is courteous and friendly. I felt pampered and at home, as if I'd always been there. I'll definitely be back, because Karalis is one of a kind.

18/05/2026: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the positive reviews from other users. We are a group of 21 conscripts. I recommend it without a doubt. The dishes are delicious. Everyone agrees.

17/05/2026: It has a homey atmosphere and feels like a local diner. The wine was reasonably priced and delicious. We ordered squid ink and seafood risotto. The squid ink risotto was overpriced with hardly any ingredients. The seafood risotto, however, had plenty of seafood and was reasonably priced. Overall, it has a touristy feel to it.

11/07/2026: Finally managed to find some asian food after being in cinque terre for 5 days. My taste buds finally awoke from their slumber! Sufficiently umami and authentic, we thoroughly enjoyed the flavours!! PLEASE ORDER THE XIAOLONGBAO AND HARGAO (i don’t remember the exact name… it’s the one with prawn)! SO PACKED WITH MEAT AND JUICYYYYY. If i lived in Genoa, I’d come here at least once a week.

19/05/2026: If you're looking for the tastiest burger in Genoa... You can find it here. Excellent burgers, fair prices. You order at the counter, pay, and leave your name. They'll call you as soon as your burger is ready. The wait is a bit long, but the burgers are made fresh, and the line outside is always long. There's limited seating inside, but table service is available. You can enjoy your burger in the beautiful Piazza Matteotti just a short distance away.
