11/11/2025: The place is nice and well-maintained, except for the bathroom, which in my opinion could use some work. The food is excellent; we ordered some off-menu dishes, which were well-prepared but a bit pricey (€24 per dish). For starters, we had a seafood stew (especially rich in mussels), and for main courses, grouper medallions with porcini mushrooms and shrimp. The ingredients are certainly very fresh and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, not for the main courses, but for desserts and coffee. In fact, we waited so long for desserts, and we had to ask for coffee a second time.
09/11/2025: When I return to Genoa, this will be my go-to restaurant. Personally, I was deeply satisfied with everything, for example...the professionalism, courtesy, and speed of the two waiters, Simone and Bledi. We felt truly pampered and understood. The owner is particularly kind and affable, truly down-to-earth, and always makes you feel welcome.
The cuisine and dishes served were all exquisite in flavor and preparation. In 5 days, we were able to try almost all of their dishes.
What can I say? The value for money, for me, is top notch.

12/11/2025: Really nice restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were kind, and the food was excellent — especially the pasta and desserts. Prices are fair, and everything felt relaxed and comfortable. The toilet was clean, though it could be a bit better. Overall, a great place that I’d definitely recommend to others.
09/11/2025: A very cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. They took our steak's cooking preferences into account—we asked for it well done because our child was eating it—and the meat was tender and delicious. The anchovy pasta and meat platter were also excellent. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

The service was excellent: friendly and natural, the kind that makes you feel comfortable without being intrusive. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, perfect for a relaxed meal and quiet conversation. It's not pretentious or trying to be anything it's not; it just works well. For a simple, well-presented, and flavorful meal, it's a highly recommended option. Everything ran smoothly, which is much appreciated.
13/12/2025: The food was exceptional! The salad Cappon Magro was a delight, the artichoke in fondue was wonderful, the tartar was splendid and the desert - Randolph with Zaballone cream was breathtaking! The prices are actually very very good for the high-quality food we had.

06/10/2025: We love having aperitivo at this bar because it has tables in one of my favorite squares in downtown Genoa. The service is fast and the drinks are always well-made. They also serve reasonably priced snacks. Highly recommended!
05/10/2025: We went for an aperitif outside of opening hours (2:30 PM). They told us it was no problem, we could sit down and they'd clean the table. The table was never cleaned. We asked if they could provide two chips, and they said "yes," but they didn't bring them. We asked for the chips, and they brought them (the cocktail and wine were practically finished by then). They told us more was on the way. The other food never arrived, and the table was always dirty.

10/11/2025: Passion, love, and dedication are what owner Federico and his staff put into the dishes they prepare and the service. Our last visit, with the Genovese, prepared by him, was like coming home. The Pastiera Napoletana was also delicious. If you're a fan of Neapolitan cuisine, I'd say it's a must-try! Congratulations on the way you run the restaurant; you're a role model for many.
