02/04/2026: I don't usually eat cheese focaccia, but I have to say this one really raised the bar for Recco cheese focaccia. It may sound strange coming from me, but it was so good, I even had to ask for a second helping. :)
We had a table of ten, and the kids were all very excited, not to mention us adults 😊.
Congratulations to all the staff who managed such a chaotic situation.

01/02/2026: For us, the Grand Hotel Miramare is a place with a truly special flair. The elegant ambiance and the stunning location instantly create a holiday atmosphere and invite you to savor the moment.
The rooms were stylish, clean, and very comfortable – just right for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the city. We especially loved the view and the peaceful atmosphere.
The service was attentive, warm, and highly professional. Breakfast was also a real highlight for us, with a good selection and fresh products. We would definitely return to this hotel.
27/01/2026: The GHM is simply exceptional. The views, accommodations, grounds, food, drinks, and service are all among the best I’ve experienced across Europe.
While staying here, I planned a surprise proposal to my fiancée which the staff tactfully helped facilitate, and surprised us with champagne in our room after our dinner!
The in-house spa and dry-cleaning were excellent, and the concierge was helpful at any hour we needed assistance.
The pool deck is stunning, and we loved every dish we had from the restaurant across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Miramare is a beautiful historic hotel with an outstanding staff. Our thanks to the entire team for making our visit one we will always remember. We will be staying here again!

21/05/2026: My husband and I discovered this local favorite, and we’re so glad we did. The fresh pasta was absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with care. Chef Davide was incredibly warm and welcoming, and even took the time to sit and chat with us for a while, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. After spending time here, we completely understand why this place is such a local favorite. Great food, great hospitality, and an experience we’ll never forget. Don’t sleep on this one 🤌🇮🇹🍝

10/04/2026: The atmosphere is that of an intimate, small, and comfortable tavern. The perfect spot for a quaint alleyway. The service is quick and attentive, thanks to its authenticity. The host and host explain the dishes, which are excellent in their simplicity. Compliments to the chef, who is skilled at preparing and displaying the dishes simply. It was a great evening. Everyone was happy (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child). The experience was excellent, and the price was very fair.

24/05/2026: I went there alone last night and had five pork dumplings and a large vegetarian bao with mushrooms. The food was excellent. I was a little annoyed that they asked me for money as soon as I placed my order. Were they afraid I'd run away? But maybe that's the place's policy. Still, not bad.

18/05/2026: Avoid. Lunch with the daily menu. Upon first bite, I found a piece of toothpick used by the previous customer, and they reused the leftovers... evidently, the rules and the potentially worrying consequences for the customer are unknown.
15/05/2026: I didn't receive the service and quality I expected at this very noisy restaurant with mediocre service. There were only three pieces of octopus in the gnocchi, no presentation, and no personalized welcome. It needs improvement...

13/06/2026: In a busy shopping street with a slight sewage smell. We were allowed to take a seat on the empty terrace for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The first question was whether we wanted an Aperol Spritz. No thanks. A prosecco, please. This one was flat. When asked, we were given another, better glass with ‘fresh’ prosecco. The calamari fritti were very tough and dry. Moreover, half of the plate was filled with fried potato (thin chips). There was no reaction to our honest answer about how it tasted. The tuna of the day and grilled vegetables were okay. Only after a long wait and asking twice did we receive the hefty bill. We will certainly not be returning here.

18/04/2026: We were back in Arenzano after a 16-year absence, and we had very fond memories of this pizzeria, so we thought, why not go back? We weren't very happy with the result. In short, it was off-season this time, and the pizzas weren't great. Too much tomato sauce, which was a shame because the crust was thin and cooked in a wood-fired oven.

02/06/2026: Everything was perfect. Magnificent view. Authentic, typical Ligurian food. I loved the pork cheek. A special mention goes to Franco, who explained every single dish to us, both its preparation and its history.
