The first course was good, the second course good quality. Even the recommended wine was worth it. The service was fairly quick and clean. The price was good for the quality. Recommended.

23/05/2025: È raro uscire da un ristorante con la sensazione di aver vissuto qualcosa di davvero speciale, ma è esattamente quello che è successo dopo la cena da Hostaria Ducale. Ci siamo trovati lì quasi per caso, in una serata genovese di pioggia leggera, e sin dall’ingresso abbiamo percepito una cura fuori dal comune. Il locale è raccolto, intimo, arredato con gusto ma senza ostentazioni. Non c'è musica di sottofondo: solo voci basse, piatti che arrivano con grazia, e una certa sospensione del tempo. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. I camerieri si muovono in silenzio, presenti ma mai invadenti. Una ragazza in particolare ci ha accompagnati per tutta la cena con discrezione e gentilezza, rispondendo alle nostre curiosità con chiarezza e senza fretta. Non c’è nulla di affettato nei loro modi: si sente che ci tengono davvero a farti stare bene. Abbiamo scelto il percorso degustazione da otto portate, e ogni piatto è stato un piccolo viaggio. Indimenticabile il risotto con anguilla affumicata, un equilibrio perfetto tra cremosità, affumicatura e acidità. Il piccione con foie gras è arrivato come un’opera teatrale ben costruita: cottura magistrale, sapori profondi, senza eccessi. Anche i dessert, spesso trascurati altrove, qui brillano per inventiva e precisione.

Excellent food (with particular attention to the selection of raw materials), good wine, and truly excellent hospitality and service (including some pleasant surprises to taste :)) We will definitely be back and recommend. The truffle menu, besides being excellent, certainly offers excellent value for money. BRAVI!!!!!

28/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal! Ravioli with pesto turned out to be a red pesto with chunks of beef, delicious. And pansoti with walnut sauce. Perfect for dipping your plate clean with bread. And fried mushrooms and steak, the latter good but with a bit of sinew. None of it detracted from the deliciousness!

11/10/2025: I often stop by on weekends for breakfast and have always found the atmosphere clean and welcoming. The croissants are very good, as is the cappuccino. The lady with the blonde bob is always very quick and kind; you can tell she's a professional.

25/09/2025: We got married on September 6, 2025, at Cantine Bisson. We chose both an aperitif and dinner in the vineyard, and it was all magical. The food was excellent, and the wine was delicious. Our guests were delighted and satisfied with everything. It was a charming venue nestled in the vineyard. We thank Daniela and the dining room staff for always being there for us; you made everything feel so natural and fresh. With love and immense gratitude, Giulia and Giusy.

09/08/2025: Loved our dinner at La Botte! The host was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The menu is small but every dish is spot-on. We had spaghetti allo scoglio, crispy fried sardines, and sea bream with potatoes and olives. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a place to check out in Genova!

23/07/2025: Once again, a beautiful experience. Lunch for a 90th birthday and they played along. There were 21 of us and we made a lot of noise, but they, Andrea and Cristina, were delightful as always... It's nice to have a place to stay calm and be at ease. Fantastic! Spectacular food and everyone loved it. Really excellent

03/10/2025: The food here at "Casale" is good, but I have to be honest and say that the portions have been getting smaller for a while now, and the price has become proportionally higher. It's a shame, but I hope the management will reflect on this and take this as a constructive comment, not a criticism. Good luck!

10/09/2025: The most incredible trattoria in all of Liguria. The food is amazing, it's a third of the price of anywhere else, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. And the Sturla Valley is breathtaking.

07/09/2025: Super friendly staff, very, very good food, the only place we eat sashimi. They're atypical Chinese here, "Emilian" Chinese. As soon as you get to know them, you feel at home (so much so that they bring a table fan if you're hot at dinner). A regular stop every week. Try it and believe it! 24/09/2025: AMAZING. Wonderful service and friendliness. Friendliness too. The owners were truly friendly and approachable. I've never eaten such good meat in my life. We had a tagliata and two fillets that melted in your mouth. Perfectly cooked. Wonderful flavor. It wasn't just food, it was truly a spectacular experience, definitely worth repeating. The price was absolutely fair for the quality and freshness of the products. Considering we had a tagliata, two fillets, two glasses of wine, and two desserts, we really spent more than fair. Thank you for this wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back ❤️

06/10/2025: We love having aperitivo at this bar because it has tables in one of my favorite squares in downtown Genoa. The service is fast and the drinks are always well-made. They also serve reasonably priced snacks. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: We went for an aperitif outside of opening hours (2:30 PM). They told us it was no problem, we could sit down and they'd clean the table. The table was never cleaned. We asked if they could provide two chips, and they said "yes," but they didn't bring them. We asked for the chips, and they brought them (the cocktail and wine were practically finished by then). They told us more was on the way. The other food never arrived, and the table was always dirty.
