19/08/2025: Italian (though Polish :)). "Amateur" style, but with a wider selection of dishes. We had drinks, beer, and a digestivo, and it was fantastic. We also got great tips on what to see in Genoa. I highly recommend it!

14/08/2025: For these prices, the food should be first-class. But here we're dealing with ordinary bazaar fare. I don't recommend it.

08/08/2025: Very good food, decent service. We didn't have to wait and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes. Chicken tandoori and chicken korma with garlic naan and cheese naan (it could have been a little seasoned and the cheese inside rather than just spread a little on it but it's OK). The place is simple but clean and well set up. Air conditioning upstairs is very pleasant.

09/08/2025: Loved our dinner at La Botte! The host was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The menu is small but every dish is spot-on. We had spaghetti allo scoglio, crispy fried sardines, and sea bream with potatoes and olives. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a place to check out in Genova!

23/07/2025: Once again, a beautiful experience. Lunch for a 90th birthday and they played along. There were 21 of us and we made a lot of noise, but they, Andrea and Cristina, were delightful as always... It's nice to have a place to stay calm and be at ease. Fantastic! Spectacular food and everyone loved it. Really excellent

06/08/2025: I tried this place, which not only serves pizza but also sandwiches and other dishes. I had the cheese focaccia with cooked ham, and I have to say it was a perfect choice! The filling was very tasty yet delicate, with a thin, crispy dough despite the cheese, which usually tends to make it go soggy. All washed down with an excellent beer. The staff is friendly, kind, and professional: an experience I'll repeat as soon as possible!

15/07/2025: Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to try this sushi place, even though the menu was very inspiring. Every time I've made a reservation, I've been called a couple of hours before to be told the place is closed that day or rented for private events. Honestly, I'm starting to doubt it's just a restaurant.

21/08/2025: I'm giving it one star because, unfortunately, I can't give it 0. We ordered three complete boxes through Delivero: a double bacon sandwich, fries, cheese balls, and nuggets, plus a separate fries. The delivery driver arrived to deliver everything, but we found ourselves without the fries, without the double bacon, and with an incomplete box that was also missing the fries. We immediately told the delivery driver what happened, but he told us to contact the restaurant. We tried calling all evening, but the phone was always disconnected. They stole €12 from us in total. It's truly shameful. It would be enough to find people who are willing to work and who are a little more careful. We won't order again!

16/08/2025: It says the place closes at 10pm but I went by at 8pm and the place was closed with 2 employees inside who laughed at every person who tried to come in and found the door locked!

20/07/2025: Sono stata ,con delle amiche , a cena in questo locale : molto carino, pulito, con un servizio simpatico ed attento ma soprattutto cibo di qualità e elaborato con creatività mantenendo ferme le tradizioni. Assolutamente consigliato.

And then the desserts... a perfect ending to a special evening, pampered down to the last bite. A place that feels like home, but with a surprising sophistication. 10/08/2025: A truly charming and well-kept location. The menu is truly extensive, featuring many homemade specialties, each one better than the last. The staff is very kind and welcoming. It's absolutely worth trying at least once!

The Pezzi restaurant on Via Cavour, as it once was, has been reimagined by the Pezzi family a few dozen meters up the hill. It's attracting a growing number of regulars, so it's a good thing, because it's a safe haven for those seeking simplicity, quality, and a friendly atmosphere.
