03/11/2025: Do you like disgusting pizzas? You are in the right place

03/11/2025: One year later and I still get chills thinking about this place. Probably the worst restaurant experience of my life. We waited forever, got undercooked pizzas, and were yelled at by the staff when we dared to mention how awful the food was. Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs

23/09/2025: Never again.. Don't go to this place!! We booked a table on the day of the neighborhood party!! We sat down at 8:45 pm, 8 people including 3 children.. At 9:30 pm the drinks arrived.. Then 1 tray of mixed pizza that we didn't order and anyway because of hunger it was eaten after that!!!!!! Nothing until 10:50 pm the waitress continuously owed us pizza and it was still cooking.. Tons of people left the tables angry.. At 11 pm we got up to go and pay even though there was nothing to pay to go and get a sandwich and practically the owner almost threatened us saying the pizza is in the oven if you don't eat it I'll make you pay for it!! At this point, to avoid fights we sat down and at 11:20 pm 2 trays of practically disgusting pizza arrived to say the least.. We went to pay and the owner had the nerve to charge 10 euros per person for nothing!! We paid and left, promising to give good publicity to the place.

01/06/2025: I went out of curiosity! Unfortunately the fried ones didn't satisfy me, they seemed frozen, the pizza like this didn't satisfy me. The bill wasn't adequate!

30/08/2025: ​Dear La Fonte del Torrato Management, ​I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my visit to your restaurant on the 23/08/25 between 13:00hrs and 15:00hrs. I was with a friend and we were both taken aback by the behavior of one of your waiters. ​I came inside to pay for our order (an Americano and a Coke) after using the restroom. As I approached the cashier, the waiter from our table came inside and loudly stated, "10 euros, 10 euros," even though he hadn't provided a receipt. ​When I returned to my friend, she told me that while I was inside, she had asked the waiter for the bill. He refused to give it to her, saying, "No, no, don't pay. Your friend will do so; she is very rich!" ​I was extremely upset by this comment. It is incredibly unprofessional and rude for an employee to make such a personal and baseless judgment about a customer, especially to a friend of that customer. This type of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment. ​I hope you will address this with your staff to ensure that no one else has to experience this kind of treatment. 22/07/2025: I got some sandwiches, they were very good. I would like to ask a favor, if you know the name of the souvenir shop next door.

14/02/2025: The service was poor, absent, and disrespectful. I ordered some dishes at 8:10 and they arrived at 9:10/9:20.

09/11/2025: pasta tasted bad, we waited for like 40 minutes and a pregnant beggar came up to us, didnt leave us alone until we bought something.

09/11/2025: We visited this osteria, and unfortunately, the experience was disastrous. The only positive note goes to the wait staff, who were kind and helpful... but who, however, were a bit lacking. Let's move on to the rest and the reasons why I don't recommend the place: the wait times were unacceptable (other customers left in exasperation), the food was a series of unacceptable mistakes, especially considering that the strength of an osteria (the style is not that of a restaurant) should be the authenticity of its products. The porchetta appetizer was dry and refrigerator-cold, accompanied by four meager crumbs of focaccia, and the carbonara, which arrived after an inordinate amount of time, was small, watery, flavorless, and contaminated with tea towel lint. To complete the picture, the glasses smelled of detergent, and the restrooms were nauseating. All things considered, it's clear that the owners of this establishment haven't yet grasped what it means to provide quality catering. This profession can't be improvised.

11/10/2025: A well-established chain. Decent food for the price. Small but pleasant atmosphere. Attentive and courteous service.

01/07/2025: Torno quest'anno dopo una brutta esperienza , perchè era il posto per mangiare più vicino allo stabilimento e a piedi faceva troppo caldo per cambiare. Questa volta siamo stati meglio perchè il servizio è stato molto veloce seppure era di domenica. La carbonara saporita ma con troppo sugo dentro il piatto. Pappardelle al cinghiale in bianco discrete. Prezzi medio alti rispetto al servizio basic. In due con bimbo di 2 anni sul conto in ritardo mi sono accorto di 5 persone acctreditate del servizio anzichè 2 e ....mezzo... Però staviolta ci stava anche lo scontrino fiscale.

05/06/2025: Torno al King dopo due/tre anni dall’ultima volta e me ne vado veramente deluso. Il primo problema riguarda il prezzo. Con la cifra che spendi la, ci mangi il pesce. Il secondo problema, il principale, riguarda la qualità, che è crollata drasticamente. Tavolata di amici. Iniziamo con antipasto abruzzese, mix di bruschette, cacio fritto e facaccia con il prosciutto crudo. L’antipasto, abbondante, era veramente scarsino di qualità. Il prosciutto era salatissimo, i salami niente di che. Lo stesso prosciutto era presente con la focaccia, che era talmente dura da sbriciolarsi. Anche le bruschette male.. Super saporite e con un pane insolito. Squisito il cacio fritto. Passiamo agli arrosticini. Buoni. Nulla a che vedere con quelli abruzzesi, il che già è un problema, visto che la location si dichiara tale, ma buoni. Troppo troppo saporiti quelli di Angus. Nota stradolente: IL VINO DELLA CASA. Non si può servire una zozzeria simile. Sembrava acqua colorata. L’ho trovato davvero offensivo. Basterebbe davvero poco per dare qualcosa di bevibile. Crema catalana buona. 39€ a testa

19/05/2025: Con tutta confidenza in questo ristorante THE KING c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta poiché se partiamo dal personale alla cucina compreso i grandi capi esistente una grande educazione sia nel servire che nel mangiare tutto è da 100 e lode

23/05/2025: Passing by chance I stop for breakfast, 8:30 the baskets near the counter full and a bit smelly, croissant of the frozen type, but evidently badly preserved it was all soft and tasteless, cappuccino I didn't even manage to finish it... And the staff at the counter very busy joking and laughing among themselves with an attitude as if they were doing me a favor and not even a response to good morning or goodbye... the basics of education in addition to pure and simple kindness towards the customer... and therefore definitely too much the price 2.90 euros. P.s. the receipt should not be an optional on request of the customer.

07/08/2025: Authentic restaurant in the Pigneto area. The dishes are good, they seem freshly cooked, and they're plentiful, with affordable prices. The restaurant is very simple inside; we ate at the outdoor tables. The young man who served us was very kind and helpful. Worth a try, we'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: I returned after several years and was very disappointed by both the fried food and the pizza.

22/08/2025: I ordered for dinner, but it was a total failure. I received a portion of burnt, soggy potatoes. The gnocchi with Nutella weren't even worth the price.... Nutella was probably only on 3 or 4 pieces, because the rest only had powdered sugar, and they were cold.... I don't know how to describe the disappointment, but I'm pregnant, and this is the last thing I expected to receive after seeing the photos.

22/10/2025: All the food was delicious, completely homemade, 100% recommended.

14/09/2025: The pizza and supplì are really good. People who write negative comments are just jealous. This pizzeria has been open since before the center was built and I can say that every time we pass by here everything is fresh and the supplì too.

12/11/2025: If you’re in a hurry, this is a convenient place to grab a quick bite and find a seat. Don’t come with high expectations, though. We had breakfast — it was nice, but the portions were quite small and everything was served in plastic colorful dishes.

30/05/2025: I came with a group of friends for lunch after school. The food is good, fast and on average cheap. The problem is the staff: we had to split what we had taken and the cashier (unfriendly, treated us like idiots) did not want to give change to each of us, giving us 50 cents saying that we had to make do on our own. If you want to split the bill, come either with the exact amount or avoid the place. Goodbye
