19/10/2025: We chose Ristorante Santa Lucia to celebrate my father's 65th birthday. The excellent reviews, the prestigious location, and my positive experience as a regular customer convinced us it was the right place for such an important event. When we made our reservation over the phone, we specified that it was a birthday, but no one offered us a homemade dessert. To avoid any inconvenience, we made our own arrangements, purchasing a cake from the pastry shop (with a receipt) and bringing it to the restaurant. Upon arrival, however, the welcome was surprisingly cold. We were informed, rather sternly, that the restaurant has its own pastry shop and that, as a rule, it does not accept outside desserts—although they would make an exception in exceptional cases. The attitude of the so-called head waiter was excessively formal and distant, which immediately dampened the festive atmosphere. I also asked for a small change to the menu—two charcuterie boards, which I'd seen served at another table—but was told they were only available after 3:00 PM and only for the pool area. This inflexibility was difficult to understand, especially considering similar dishes were served at other tables. Fortunately, the wait staff were kind and attentive: they served the dishes correctly, paying attention to the bread and water always being provided, helping to make the experience a little more pleasant. The real disappointment, however, came at dessert time. Despite being told that cake would be served, we were prevented from even lighting a simple candle. A symbolic gesture, simple and important, denied in a setting that should have celebrated a special occasion. We were disappointed. We thought we were in a place that, beyond architectural beauty and attention to detail, knew how to welcome people with humanity. Instead, we felt like passing guests, not protagonists of a moment to remember. I won't comment on the rooms, which we haven't had the chance to try yet.

27/08/2025: This light-blonde bartender was shocking. She looked at me like I was an alien, making me feel like I was disabled. After I paid and thanked her, without saying a word. Shocked.

23/09/2025: Stopped for breakfast; the interior isn't large, but there are tables inside and outside. Friendly and helpful staff, good coffee, and delicious pastries.

29/10/2025: Finally, after a long period of fluctuations, they seem to have found a balance between opening and closing days and hours, as well as the option of enjoying pizza there, either in a dedicated room or outdoors. The pizza is very good, well-cooked and well-leavened, very thin, Roman-style, and available both by the slice and for takeout, as well as dine-in. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and perhaps customers should be offered a few more options.

27/09/2025: The pizza is good but the fried food tastes heavy from the old oil... the vegetables weren't good either and it tasted burnt... they should only make pizza and fish.

12/10/2025: An excellent piadineria, the first time I tried this chain I tried the one with sautéed mushrooms and it was truly delicious, I really recommend it very highly as a place, I personally, I will gladly return, friendly staff and, overall, welcoming, clean and informal atmosphere.

10/10/2025: Never again You don't write 30/40 and then spend 75 per person. Everyone is free to do what they want, but when advertising a restaurant, you have to set a price appropriate to an average menu. If it had been a true average menu, it would have been at least double. The stars speak for themselves, but the prices don't.

06/10/2025: Fantastic experience. The venue is well-maintained and has ample private parking. Excellent and friendly service. We chose appetizers and first courses, and I can assure you they were fabulous, both in presentation and taste. The wine recommendation from the staff was in line with what we were told when we made our selection. We will definitely be back when we're passing through.

05/08/2025: We were "served" by an absolutely rude and impolite lady. The red wine was undrinkable, we left it, and they didn't even ask us if there had been any problems. I'd been to Cineron a while ago, and it seemed like a different place. Never again.

30/07/2025: This pizzeria is wonderful, guys. The pizza is perfectly Roman. The taste is unique. But unfortunately they don't have any dine-in options, so takeout is all that's available.

26/10/2025: I'm giving one star because it's impossible to give zero, but the place absolutely deserves zero stars. The place, the food, and the staff are all of the lowest quality. The place is dirty with 19th-century furnishings, the food is of the lowest quality, the pizza is horrible, and the appetizer is unimaginable. The real gem is a large cat that roams the place undisturbed while you eat. A truly shocking experience. Run away!!!!

17/10/2025: Historic restaurant on the outskirts of Rome, excellent cuisine. I tried an excellent pasta al arrabbiata, a bruschetta with cherry tomatoes with very fresh ingredients. On a second occasion I tried the pizza, which I must say was excellent, excellent ingredients and a light dough, very good. It's a shame about the fried foods, which I think could definitely be improved. A note of merit because they make them themselves. In short, all in all, it's better than many other restaurants and serves traditional classic dishes, which are sometimes better when classic than when revisited. I didn't give 4 stars only because the restaurant's aesthetics remained the same without making any modern aesthetic changes. However, it's not much of a deal, in the end it's the food that counts, and from 1 to 10 it oscillates between dishes from 7 to 8, still good :)

10/11/2025: I stumbled upon Piazza Trasimeno almost by accident, and I must say it was a delightful discovery. The pizza is truly delicious—light, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients. You can taste the care that goes into its preparation. The place is simple yet welcoming, perfect for both a casual dinner and a quick snack. The staff is friendly and attentive, always smiling, and that really makes the difference. Good value, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. In a neighborhood full of alternatives, Pizza Trasimeno is definitely worth a visit.
