That's why I called Liberati butcher shop to cancel a table I'd booked for Sunday, November 16, 2025.
The response from one of the owners left me disappointed and shocked.

27/09/2025: A family lunch for a change. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, with a slightly shabby chic, retro feel. Quality food, a menu that changes based on seasonal availability, and some slightly daring pairings that might not be to everyone's taste.
I don't know if it was an exceptional event, but the service was really slow; the staff, however, was courteous and helpful.
Prices were a bit excessive, especially for the wines.

23/11/2025: Spurred by the positive reviews, we decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing weekend. The agriturismo is a simple place, but the owner, Serena, makes all the difference: kind, smiling, helpful, and incredibly affectionate and patient with the kids. Her cooking workshop was a success, and we parents relaxed in front of the fireplace with good wine, bread, and fresh olive oil. The dinner was tasty and plentiful, the rooms simple, but the hot tub provided another half hour of enjoyment for the kids. The breakfast was wholesome, with fabulous homemade jams. We loved it and will definitely be back!
22/09/2025: The location is lovely, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere; the owner is always very friendly and helpful. We're a bit disappointed with the price: €120 per night (discounted to €110) in low season for a farmhouse in Lazio, which I find too high, especially considering the rustic feel of the rooms. Some details, such as the lack of a mattress cover, the faulty toilet drain, the lack of a particularly plentiful or varied breakfast, and a slight musty smell in the room, are disappointing.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but it's not a good value.

28/09/2025: Family-run restaurant serving excellent local cuisine. The selection of top-quality meat, which is hard to find, is important; it's cut to your liking and cooked to perfection. Impeccable service and a family atmosphere make you feel right at home. Excellent value for money.

I ate lunch at Bagatto and found the staff helpful and welcoming.
The food was delicious.
I recommended it.

Very, very nice place.
Unfortunately, we arrived very late and relied on the waiters to speed up our time, meaning we didn't enjoy the restaurant's full potential. I mean, if we'd had more time, we would have ordered according to our tastes.
Anyway, I'd go back.

16/11/2025: Excellent family restaurant serving Rieti cuisine. Fabulous lamb, excellent pasta dishes, and amazing tripe. Reasonably priced.
15/09/2025: A rustic, welcoming place with delicious local dishes.
The pasta was cooked to perfection, the dessert was excellent, and the coffee was good too!

02/11/2025: The place could use some updating, but honestly, it's neither important nor worthwhile, because the food is excellent and the service is fast.
We were two couples, and neither of us left dissatisfied.
The waiters were friendly and helpful.
I'll definitely be back.

Hotel Ristorante Il Castagneto

20/10/2025: We stayed at Castagneto during a motorcycle tour, staying two nights in a triple room. The hotel is welcoming, and the staff, especially Mr. Giovanni at the front desk and the "genius" handyman, were extremely kind and offered helpful advice. The hotel's cuisine is simple and excellent. We highly recommend this property, and we hope to stay there again.
