18/05/2026: Excellent food! Highly recommended! We had the arrosticini, which are 15 euros a portion, a mixed grill, all delicious, the tart and tiramisu, and two coffees. We spent 46 euros.

10/05/2026: It was 2:15 PM and we were looking for a restaurant, and while walking along Via Salaria we saw the sign for this butcher's shop. The parking lot was full, so with little hope, we decided to give it a try anyway. The restaurant was indeed full, so we asked, and the waiter (who looked like the head waiter) said, "If you give me 5 minutes, I'll fix you up." So it was, we sat down, and in no time at all, they brought us drinks. There was a set menu, but we ordered à la carte, and everything arrived in sequence. Mixed appetizer (excellent cured meats), super-abundant and delicious first courses (gnocchetti with mutton and fettuccine with ragù), second courses chosen from the butcher's shop: steak (600g) and heifer burger, side dishes of chicory and grilled vegetables. Wine, water, and coffee: 90 euros. What can I say? From the service to the quality and quantity, everything was excellent, so we'll definitely try it and return. A tip: the first courses are really plentiful, so it's best to split them.

01/06/2026: We stopped here by chance on our way. The food was good, especially the tripe, which I recommend. The staff was friendly, especially the woman who served us.

10/05/2026: Excellent food, friendly, polite, precise, and helpful waiter. It's a shame that the polenta was brought to us by a waitress who, evidently mistakenly, brought the polenta to our table and, having deposited only one portion (which was the correct order), wanted to take it back to deliver to another table!! The bagpipers also arrived... wonderful to be transported to Christmas!
