We've known the restaurant for a while and have always enjoyed good, authentic food, with fresh, locally sourced produce. We chose them for our daughter's first communion... I can only confirm the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they're always a culinary guarantee. All our guests were so pleased, so much so that some will consider them for future events. What can I say? Thanks again to all the staff, especially Carolina, who looked after us personally. The fettuccine with marjoram and pecorino cheese and the suckling pig are truly superb... they're truly worth it!

Absolutely unreal place 💚 A true hidden gem in the Italian countryside, just outside Rome. Beautiful stay, stunning views, and genuinely warm service. Real agriturismo energy—animals, local ingredients, everything fresh and thoughtful. The Sunday lunch was next level. Easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had. What can I say... an absolute gem. An old sharecropping farmhouse in the Farfa countryside dominates the surrounding landscape. The view opens up all around the valley, and as you stroll through the greenery, you discover corners of paradise. The agricultural setting is well-kept yet perfectly rustic and romantic. The large wisteria pergola, the fountain, the old mulberry tree, and the glimpses of the countryside make this agriturismo a truly special place. The food is simple and perfect; the authentic flavors immerse you even more in the nostalgic atmosphere that harks back to times gone by. Like a yellowed daguerreotype, this place will remain in your heart. ♥️ Thank you

We had lunch with friends on Easter Monday. It was nice to see the animals, especially the little ones. The first courses were delicious, but the porchetta was especially good! Price per person for a set menu: €35.

In addition to being a farmhouse with a pool, located near Farfa and its abbey, Gelso Nero is also a restaurant. I discovered it by chance many years ago. The restaurant was a wonderful discovery, featuring top-quality local ingredients. We've eaten there many times and it has never disappointed. Various types of homemade pasta and rich, delicious appetizers. The highlight is their own roast suckling pig, roasted in the oven. They're incredibly kind and always available. We've also celebrated several events, including first communions and eighteenth birthdays. It's definitely a lovely, quiet place to spend a beautiful day just 40 minutes from Rome, surrounded by nature.

I only came to eat and didn't stay overnight, so the 4 stars are for the restaurant and the young, very welcoming staff. Simple, authentic cuisine using local ingredients. Prices are above average for this type of agriturismo, and the location is pleasant.

We discovered Il Gelso Nero at Easter last year, and since then it's become a favorite (we've returned several times throughout the year, including for a special birthday). The service is always friendly, the staff welcoming and helpful, and the food is excellent, truly local and locally sourced, as you'd expect from this type of establishment. Easter lunch (yesterday) confirmed the feeling of always feeling "at home" <3 The scent of wisteria that wafts through the house and the pergola is a springtime touch that accompanies lunch outdoors, with the dogs and two resident cats keeping diners company. Our favorite dish? Handmade fettuccine with marjoram pesto from the garden, which the owner also gave us as a gift. See you soon!

I returned to this agriturismo after years, but I must once again compliment the care taken with the products served. Authentic and excellent dishes, very efficient and attentive service. Well-kept
