21/06/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Capone and I must say that the experience was excellent from every point of view. The place was packed but despite the crowding, the service was surprisingly efficient and impeccable. A special praise goes to Anna, a girl who was able to manage the room with extraordinary professionalism. Always smiling, attentive and fast, she was able to meet every need with elegance and confidence. It is rare to find someone so prepared in the restaurant industry, especially in such intense situations. In short, Casa Capone is not only good food and a beautiful atmosphere, but also a high level of service. I will definitely be back!

10/06/2025: Casa Capone has been a guarantee for years now, superlative staff, impeccable cleanliness and order and excellent food from appetizer to dessert. However, one evening for health reasons I ordered a focaccia with only zucchini, and the disappointment was great when they presented me with a really poor dish, on the focaccia so few zucchini that I put them all on one side and ate only two slices. The same problem happened to an acquaintance of mine with the pizza friarielli and sausage, the friarielli non-existent. Lately the pizza has really been too thin to the point that the toppings pierce the dough, you have to eat it with a fork because otherwise everything falls off! It doesn't stay up! I hope I was just unlucky more than once because in any case I think it's one of the best places I know.

15/07/2025: We ordered a regular croissant, a croissant with pistachio filling, and a croissant with vanilla filling. We also had cappuccino and espresso. The croissants were delicious. The croissant with pistachio filling was particularly good. The cappuccinos were beautifully creamy. The espressos were perfect. The service was okay. Paying is a bit complicated. You have to pay at the cashier first. Then you hand the receipt to the server.

Posto meraviglioso immerso nei vigneti, casale ben ristrutturato, camere ampie e confortevoli dotate di clima, tv, macchina caffè, bagni grandi. Bella piscina a disposizione degli ospiti. Cibo della tradizione di eccellente qualità. Personale e proprietaria di rara cortesia e gentilezza. Ritorneremo

05/07/2025: Soggiornato in mezza pensione, ristorante buono anche se il menù proposto (20€ +40 la stanza) era con scarsissima scelta. Le pietanze del menù alla carta erano di gran lunga migliori rispetto a quelle a noi proposte. Stanze senza aria condizionata, non calde per fortuna ma nemmeno lontanamente fresche come ci avevano detto,dotate di ventilatore. Se ci fossero state le zanzariere forse il soggiorno sarebbe stato più gradevole. No colazione (normale per un affittacamere) ma nemmeno una convenzione con i bar di zona. In conclusione visto il prezzo, non mi sarei mai lamentato ma conoscendo bene la zona perché ci capitiamo molto spesso per lavoro,a quel prezzo (anzi anche qualcosina in meno) senza fare nomi ,si trova di molto meglio, sia nel paesino stesso che a pochissimi km. Tra le 50 e le 70/80€ a voler esagerare, c'è molta scelta. Peccato perché il posto era carino.

08/08/2025: A place I visited again after 9 years! I came back because I remembered how delicious it was (I wanted to tell the owner, but I kept quiet.. haha) It was still delicious even after eating it againㅎ I told my companions that they had to eat lasagna! We all ordered it and everyone was satisfied. I will come back again even if I come to Rome for the third timeㅎ I recommend going when you visit the Colosseum!

07/08/2025: Excellent Italian restaurant in Rome. The lasagna and tiramisu are amazing! Pure delight, my friends also enjoyed their dishes. The welcome is very good and the staff is friendly with fast service. I recommend it.

04/08/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at Ristorante dei Musei in Rome was quite disappointing. Right after we sat down, a bottle of water was placed on our table without anyone asking if we wanted it or what kind we preferred. We ordered carbonara, lasagna, and cacio e pepe. The carbonara was edible, though the bacon was very fatty and not well-trimmed. One nice touch was the grated Parmesan brought to the table — we could add as much as we wanted, free of charge. However, the lasagna was overcooked, and the mozzarella was either missing or completely tasteless — hard to say if it was even there. Then things started to get strange! When I initially tried to order dessert along with the main courses, the waiter vaguely dismissed the request, saying something along the lines of "you'll order that later," and didn’t actually take the order. Along with the pasta, they brought out a small plate of roasted potatoes, meat, and vegetables as a "compliment from the restaurant" — served at the same time as the pasta. After finishing the rather large portion of pasta, I decided I did want dessert, but asked if I could order it to go. The waiter abruptly said “no” and insisted he would bring it now — without even asking if I still wanted it or whether I wanted to eat it there. Very strange communication and lack of basic courtesy. We eat the Napoleon for dessert, but unfortunately, it had absolutely nothing in common with a real Napoleon. Definitely not worth it. Then came the most frustrating part. After the dessert, I asked for the bill — instead of bringing it, the waiter put a bottle of limoncello on the table and said it was a complimentary treat. I asked for the bill again, and this time they brought out four slices of watermelon, again saying it was a free gift from the restaurant and “everything is fine.” Only after all of this, we finally got the bill — and guess what? The “complimentary” limoncello was listed and charged at €10. Overall, I do not recommend this place if you're looking for a tasty dishes and honest service in Rome.

02/08/2025: The place is very close to the Vatican, and the staff is attentive and very fast. The pizzas are a bit below average, but very cheap. With coperto, you can end the day for 10 euros.

03/06/2025: Very simple place, but complete with restaurant and rotisserie, where you can eat typical dishes of the area in complete tranquility. The proposal consists of typical first courses of the area and some more particular dishes, the choice of the second course varies from cuts to grills to sandwiches, side dishes and drinks are inevitable. The dishes are always well-prepared and full of all the flavors described in the menu. Although the place has several seats, the service is very attentive and present. There are no long waiting times and at the same time the staff is always ready for any request. An extra point is deserved only for the elegant kindness of those who serve who always make you feel at ease. Thank you 🙏

02/06/2025: We took some sandwiches and a supplì, sandwiches with undercooked meat inside and cold chips, supplì still had mozzarella inside that hadn't melted yet, the hard cube! Honestly, it wasn't to our liking.

31/07/2025: We dined here as part of a tour booked through a travel company. We didn’t realize it was a prix fixe menu with limited choices. My son was looking forward to steak/beef of some kind and it wasn’t on the menu. We decided to order off the menu despite already prepaying for the meal. Our server Valerio was intent on taking care of our needs from the time I asked for the menu and explained the issue. We greatly appreciate the attention to detail. And oh yeah—the food was excellent!
