09/08/2025: We ate at Ristorante La Foresta in March 2025. It is now August, and I still remember the fabulous meal. We were staying in a nearby B&B on a Monday night, and this was the only restaurant open in the area. We were very hungry and wanted to eat as early as possible. I checked to make sure that 7:30 pm was ok (because it is on the early side for Italy) and also asked if we could be very casually dressed in such an elegant place. We were warmly welcomed by the host. We later found out that this is a favorite place for hikers of the Via Sacre close by. Everything was delicious, but what I especially remember is the Pavlova all'Arancia. It was exquisite both in presentation and taste, especially the candied orange. The service was superb despite our lack of Italian. Our waiter was extremely patient and solicitous. Can't wait to go back. It's worth a special trip.

03/08/2025: We chose La Foresta as our wedding venue! I have to say, everything was amazing, from the food to the organization, all under the supervision and kindness of Antonella! The value for money is excellent! The sunset aperitif and the after-dinner drinks with the lights by the pool were stunning! If you're looking for a venue with top-quality food in a magical setting, this is the place! Thanks again for everything!!

14/07/2025: Update - Dinner on July 12, 2025 We are pleased to confirm the quality of the food during our dinner on Saturday, July 12th. However, we were deeply saddened to learn that Rudy no longer works here. For us, Rudy has always been a point of reference and a friend. In nearly nine years of frequenting us, his presence made all the difference: he paid special attention to loyal customers like us, and knowing he was here was one of the reasons we always wanted to return. Unfortunately, this time we found a very different atmosphere. Many new faces greeted us, making us feel almost like we were in a strange place. We were greeted as first-time customers, without any recognition of our long history with the restaurant. Regarding the service: It was overall decent, but there was a sense of disorganization. A typical incident: our wine was served in beer glasses, with the explanation that many of the glasses had been broken due to the new staff. This detail, while understandable, contributed to the impression that management still isn't up to its past standards. Fortunately, Flavio was there and did his best to make us feel at home, demonstrating the sensitivity we expect. His presence was a relief. In conclusion: the quality of the cuisine remains excellent, but loyalty is also built on human relationships and the recognition of longtime customers. Rudy perfectly embodied this value, and a person like him is essential. We hope the welcoming spirit that won us over can be preserved. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Previous review: We've been coming to this restaurant for many years now. It always feels like home. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, although sometimes the service is too quick between courses. The food is excellent, always a guarantee! From the first moment, both Rudy and Flavio welcomed us kindly, cordially, and above all, professionally, and that remains the case today! Don't forget to order the Nutella crumble!

09/07/2025: I stopped at this restaurant for dinner with some colleagues, and what amazed me most was the quality, and the price was exceptional. The red shrimp tartare was truly amazing. The oysters were good, but a little too hot for my taste, so I didn't appreciate them very much. The raw scampi were exceptional. My colleagues then had the fettuccine with lobster, which was also amazing, especially since the pasta is homemade. The price was more than fair for the quality: €44 per person with a bottle of white wine.

Very good pizza by the slice and with various flavors also for vegetarians and vegans, the pizza is slightly higher than the classic Roman pizza. Very comfortable rooms inside with many tables and table service after ordering at the counter. Highly recommended place

29/07/2025: Inside San Piero, a welcoming Osteria. I was struck by the cheerfulness and courtesy of the owner, always available to offer suggestions and explain the various house dishes. The dishes are simply excellent. The place is very charming and reminiscent of the old taverns down the street.

26/07/2025: We stopped for lunch. A lovely place. We ate outside overlooking the beautifully kept garden. Excellent food, attentive and meticulous service. I highly recommend it.

03/08/2025: Due volte in un mese. Tutto molto buono ma qualcosa da migliorare. Il cremolato di anguria sublime la prima volta perché con panna fresca..la seconda volta era con panna di bomboletta e più sciolto. Il vino al bicchiere potrebbe essere più vario dato il nome fiaschetteria. Per il resto ragazzi molto simpatici . Polpette di bollito e salsa verde super. Pastasciutta tutta gustosa. Assaggiate 4 diverse. Tornerò anche in inverno

21/07/2025: I had a wonderful meal, and the service staff were exceptional, very fast and courteous. The atmosphere is simple, tidy, and elegant, with its old-world elegance, thanks to its linear, sturdy furniture. The boiled meatballs and amatriciana are my favorite dishes.

08/07/2025: Terrible service. We were served extremely late and carelessly accompanied by annoying and out of place sarcastic statements from the owner. Seeing the other tables finish dinner without seeing our order arrive denotes in my opinion a profound rudeness on the part of the staff. Absolutely not recommended from the moment we kindly exposed the problem at the time of payment we did not receive any kind of courtesy on the price.

30/06/2025: By mistake the online portal made us book for a Saturday lunch when in reality the place would not have service. Mario welcomed us anyway and provided a table just for us. Incredible location, rare welcome and kindness, excellent food and fair prices. Highly recommended!

03/07/2025: This restaurant was less than 5 minutes from our AirBnB. We found it appealing and quaint. Food was delicious. The service was a bit slow. But then again, Europeans are not in any rush. Eating outside the establishment is also available 😋 As the evening approaches, the atmosphere became more lively
