My wife, who is from Rome, didn't enjoy it at all. It's small and full of tourists. TripAdvisor award winner in 2017, but a lot has changed since then.

The service was great, friendly and lovely people are running the place with a smile on their face. Will definitely remember this place and will come back for more!!

21/09/2025: A fairytale setting that couldn't have better captured the atmosphere of our wedding. Our guests were impressed by the villa, the abundant and delicious dishes, and the helpfulness of the staff. We, the newlyweds, also felt pampered every moment of the day, and even a couple of small inconveniences were resolved admirably, leaving us completely satisfied with our experience. Highly recommended!

01/12/2025: I haven't left a review for a restaurant in a decade. But I feel compelled to do so for this place. Sunday, reservation for the second sitting at 2:15 PM. We had organized a nearby excursion with the kids. The excursion took longer than expected. We arrived at the restaurant at practically 3 PM. We expected to be kicked out or treated with appropriate haste due to our lateness. Instead, we received only smiles, kindness, and attention to our children. We enjoyed lunch in complete relaxation, a perfect moment on a beautiful day around Calcata. When you know how to welcome and make guests feel at ease... everything else is almost superfluous. That said, the atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the food is delicious. The suckling pig was excellent, the tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms and the wild boar ragù even better. And the baked potatoes were amazing (they seem simple, but they're often pitiful). Congratulations and thank you for doing this hard work (we know a thing or two about it!) with great empathy and professionalism. ❤️

07/12/2025: Wonderful place! Massimo and Cinzia are two wonderful and special souls, who take care of this little place with great love and attention. The dishes are unique, with just the right touch of experimentation while preserving the authentic flavors. The aromatic herbs they use to prepare some of their dishes are grown locally. The price is very reasonable, around €33 per person, and we ate so much, trying and sampling all the appetizers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :)

30/11/2025: The restaurant is small but extremely welcoming; for this reason, I recommend booking, as seating is limited and it fills up quickly. The quality of the dishes is truly high: sophisticated preparation, carefully selected ingredients, and a meticulous attention to detail that demonstrates the chef's passion. The owner is friendly, personable, and makes you feel immediately at ease. Ultimately, this is a place definitely worth a try and one I would recommend to everyone.

18/12/2025: A very special gourmet restaurant lost amidst tourist traps. Very unusual menu, though reasonably priced. Ordinarily service, pleasant Scandinavian-inspired ambience.

14/12/2025: Small restaurant with amazing food. Came with my daughter for lunch and we were surprised by an amazing pasta. The pomodoro sauce was one of the best we ever had and trust me, we love good food and we cook really well.

24/11/2025: The servers are beyond kind and perfect. They constantly check in and ask if you need anything. If you think it's a local favorite, you should definitely go. It's so romantic.
