04/06/2026: We had a wonderful dinner at Ristorante Romolo e Remo. Both the pasta dishes and the main courses were excellent. For the pasta, we ordered the Carbonara, Fettuccine al Ragù, and Gnocchi. Every dish was full of flavor and tasted amazing. As main courses, we chose the beef steak, Saltimbocca, and Involtini. The portions were very generous, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when ordering. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely visit again. If you’re in Rome, this restaurant is well worth a visit.

23/04/2026: We were seen to our seats, took 10 mins for someone to bring us a menu. Then were waiting another 20 mins, nobody took our order in this time.
Could see the waiter clearing/setting other empty tables in this time, but seemed to be avoiding our table.
At this point we left. 30 mins and nobody had even asked what drinks we want.

20/04/2026: The curry was excellent, and the manager was very kind. She made us feel comfortable and explained the different meals. Next time, when I have more time, I'll want to try the Vietnamese coffee! :)
13/04/2026: They didn't give me the option to order a half-portion of Bun cha gio' thit, which is rice noodles with egg rolls and chicken skewers. They usually try to accommodate customer needs.

The owner remembers all the dishes you've ordered by heart, and a genuine smile accompanies you all the way to the door. Excellent food, exceptional staff, and impeccable service. Professional, courteous staff, reasonable waiting times between courses, perfect portions, and, last but not least, absolutely fair prices make Cave Canem a restaurant worth returning to time and time again.
