04/05/2025: Great atmosphere and music, the food is spectacular, the good variety of drinks, wines, antipasto... And not to mention the service, they are very friendly and very attentive. Very affordable prices for what is special about the place. Highly recommended.

20/04/2025: I returned on Easter day (after many years) to this restaurant in the Borgo Pio area (Vatican) which decades ago was a "competitor" of the famous brewery in via della Croce, Piazza di Spagna-via del Babuino area (i.e. the "Viennese brewery" existing in Rome since the 1930s with typical furnishings and deer heads hanging on the wooden walls and then changed management and ... miserably failed in a few years). From what I know, it remains (along with another restaurant nearby) the only historic "Tyrolean" alternative to Rome. We ate 3 rich appetizers of mixed cold cuts and cheeses, two dishes with sausages of various types with potatoes (unfortunately fried and not boiled and flavoured) and sauerkraut and a pork fillet with red cabbage, 1 beer, 1 Cola 1 Sprite, sparkling water, 3 coffees (without dessert) for around 120 euros for 3 people. Attentive service, typical restaurant. I would SAY that 40 EUROS each is an acceptable amount for what is offered.

12/04/2025: Suggestive and particular place. We took cheese fondue and glutton grill (self-service grilled meat). For a place specializing in fondue, it keeps expectations high with tasty and delicious dishes. The bill was also a surprise although slightly high for the product itself but being in Rome and one of the few to offer this specialty it is more than justified. However we spent less than the total we expected.

07/05/2025: Good fraschetta. Average but nothing that will make you come back. Too scattered. More touristy than anything else. Too many distractions and waiting in the orders. Tiramisu too much cream.

26/04/2025: We were there on Valentine's Day and the atmosphere was very nice. The location is modern but very neat. The food is excellent and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

17/04/2025: We were the only guests and were treated very courteously at first. As primo we had gnocchi, which was good. The waitress recommended it to us as one portion for both of us, but this was then ignored in the kitchen. I got the main course together with the starter, the steak was tough and dry, my wife's main course was forgotten and had to be reordered. You couldn't bite the veal schnitzel, it was so tough. In the kitchen there was still gossip about the Germans They thought we didn't understand. We left hungry with a bill of almost 70 euros.

17/04/2025: It has little of a tavern. Family restaurant with good food and service provided by the owners. Romanesque but light food. If the location is crowded it is a bit noisy. Excellent prices. A few € below average.

20/04/2025: I gave full marks to reward these young guys who have created an interesting reality. Small but welcoming and particular. Even if upon reservation you have to wait a bit before being seated at the table, we have been twice and it happened both times. However, nothing dramatic and they still apologized several times, even offering a tequila. Particular and nice atmosphere, very good food, attentive and precise service. I recommend trying it.

12/04/2025: Unfortunately compared to the other times we have been there the quality of the food has decreased a bit, the burrito was practically all cheese and a memory of chicken and rice... honestly the price is too high compared to the offer. Sauces in miniaturized containers... such a shame, even on beers the prices are too high

28/04/2025: I organized my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and I was extremely satisfied. Giulia followed us in organizing the anniversary with great professionalism, empathy and attention to detail, giving us 360-degree advice and support. His ability to coordinate every aspect of the event made everything perfect and run smoothly. The food lived up to our expectations, the maître d' and his collaborators were impeccable, demonstrating extraordinary competence and care towards all guests. They were able to handle every situation with elegance and competence, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. Andrea the DJ was exceptional in his choice of songs, demonstrating unique sensitivity and delicacy. He knew how to grasp every situation, adapting the music to the right moment and creating an engaging and pleasant atmosphere for everyone present. His ability to read the situation and choose the music helped make the day unforgettable.

27/04/2025: We celebrated a young One Hundred Birthday, or a double fiftieth. Since Maria Elena took over the reins of the event, everything has changed positively. Our guests were enthusiastic about the abundant aperitif and the double first course (Risotto with saffron pistils, pumpkin flowers and TOP! burrata flakes and Mezze Maniche all'Amatriciana). The service was professional and kind at all times, the set-up was taken care of in every detail and Simone was impressively polite, competent and quick, considering that he had very little time available. Last but not least (indeed!) Andrea the DJ left us speechless. He perfectly combined all the moments of the event, giving us the opportunity to talk during dinner, with a background accompaniment, and then letting us go wild dancing, singing and playing all together! The feedback on the event was very positive, so thank you for making our One Hundred Birthday unique and unforgettable and congratulations to everyone for their professionalism, education and kindness!
