09/05/2025: Without words… From 9.30pm to 11.30pm the spaghetti with clams finally arrives but... upon arrival it is very raw... We immediately notify the owner who responds to us With a sarcastic smile that everyone was eating the pasta and that the brother, we assume, is The chef said that it was cooked... and therefore it shouldn't be remade 'but it should be eaten like this or alternatively we had to get a second one because he wouldn't make the first one again. It seems absurd to me to have to pay to eat what the person decides Restaurateur or passing by uncomfortable people when we often go out for dinner and we have been to this same place several times without it Never complain. A nice, quiet evening ruined by uneducated people Who allow themselves to respond badly to customers that Yes I am Places from the beginning with politeness also avoiding After They were treated badly by making scenes. I would like to point out that I don't usually write negative reviews but it seems right to bring to light everyone the complete indifference shown by these restaurateurs who didn't try in the slightest to recover or find a solution, in fact they brought us the bill after 30 seconds leaving my partner practically fasting. Of course we will never go back and will not recommend it to everyone we know.

20/05/2025: Contrario – Vineria con Cucina turned out to be one of the best surprises of my stay in Rome. A few steps from the Colosseum, but with prices that are decidedly more honest than many tourist places in the area. I tasted the best tonnarello of the whole holiday: perfectly cooked, authentic flavor and generous portion. The service was friendly and attentive, without too many frills but effective. The wine selection is exceptional, with many interesting labels and well-targeted recommendations from the staff. A restaurant that combines quality, a relaxed atmosphere and a central location. Highly recommended!

17/05/2025: Alex and his team have made this restaurant a perfect mix. It can satisfy the many tourists but above all the refined palates ready to spend a little more to eat well, very well, but above all to drink magnificently. 28/05/2025: Got roped into this place like all the restaurants around these touristy areas do. The host promised free limoncello if we dined in. That they did which was cool. However the food was just okay compared to other authentic Italian restaurants. The atmosphere was good. BUT, at the end of our meal after we were served our desert, while some in our group were using the restroom we were told our seats were needed. I understand the lunch rush was picking up, but no paying customer should ever be asked to give up their seats. Thus my poor review.

24/05/2025: Absolute recommendation. Small restaurant with modest menu. We had a very nice meal. Entrecote and pasta and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. Owner also offered a delicious home-made liqueur. Normal prices. Service was fine. Because we were sitting outside, the atmosphere was not great. Inside was perhaps cozier. But that will be different in the summer.

21/05/2025: Incredible food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. This restaurant was just down the road from our accomodating in Rome and was recommended by a local. The food was fantastic! We ordered the caramelised cherry tomatoes and fried artichokes as a starter, and for the mains we shared the Cacio e Pepe pasta and a salad. It was delicious and so fresh! We finished with the tiramisu for dessert - also delicious! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when you’re next in Rome!

05/05/2025: We celebrated my daughter's communion on Sunday, I wanted to compliment all the staff and owners, very knowledgeable, kind people. (even on gluten-free and lactose-free) Zero kilometer food, excellent. The guests called us the next day to compliment us on the location and the food. Super price quality. We will definitely be back.

30/05/2025: Spartan place. We went to eat with several people, the food was really very good and refined, the only flaw was the staff. They seemed quite annoyed in having to serve us, a shame, because the quality is definitely superior. The environment in line with what was declared, the only flaw was the little space between the chairs and the wall. All in all a 4 star seems like an excellent compromise to me.

11/05/2025: Informal but very refined environment in the heart of via Mattia Battistini. It's always a pleasure to return to Oysteria, you can eat excellent fish and the service is exceptional, attentive and polite and can give excellent advice. Outdoor and indoor tables have nothing to envy of the restaurants on the coast. Medium-high prices.

13/06/2025: Be careful, it's a very small restaurant with few tables, but it fills up quickly. We came here twice during our stay, and it was delicious. The wine is excellent; they work with the shop next door, which I also recommend.

12/06/2025: A real gem near Palazzo Barberini. Great welcome and great food. The place is a bit small but with a minimal wait they found us a place right away. The service was also perfect, fast by the way. We will gladly return.

10/04/2025: Small tavern in the upper part of Genzano. It offers excellent traditional dishes from Lazio and beyond. The lady who served us was friendly. All good, but the ricotta and bitter orange tart was particularly delicious.

31/03/2025: A Sunday lunch under a pergola in an unexpected "Angoletto". Hospitality and excellent food, good side dishes and a mouth-watering stew. Attentive service and good Castelli wine🍷. To return!
