06/10/2025: Fantastic experience here. We randomly popped in and the owner was so friendly and warmly to introduce the food for us. The most impressive was he offered us a lot dishes which we didn’t order for complimentary. Food tastes were unforgettable. Such a lovely evening and we will definitely recommend our colleagues to come here. Cheers💕💕

10/12/2025: Apuleius strikes such a delicate balance in my opinion between being elegant yet approachable, a place for a special occasion or also for a nice family lunch or dinner (two families were there with children while I dined), attentive service but not overbearing or intrusive. You're far away from the tourist crowds here on the Aventine Hill, but the walk or commute is worth the setting and the fantastic Roman food with local wine and ingredients. This was my fifth time to Rome, and the best meal I've had in the Eternal City over all five visits. The starter with poached egg, zucchini, and AMPLE truffle slices was delightful; my main (risotto with tuna/onion/bottarga sauce) was hearty and flavourful, special without seeming overly wrought. The deconstructed tiramisù was tasty and a delight to think about while eating. Many thanks to the staff for a fantastic end to my pilgrimage during the Jubilee year with such a great meal. Deo gratias indeed!

30/11/2025: Great spot to grab a quick slice of pizza! The place is super small, but they’ve got a nice mix of pizzas. The ones we tried were really tasty and crunchy. Plus, everything’s pretty affordable and pretty filling. Service was meh but fine. It might not be the best pizza ever, but if you want something quick, cheap, and tasty, this place totally does the job.

15/11/2025: I even went back to edit the comment because after spending 4 days eating pizza all the time after going to La Boccacia, it was still the best pizza we tried. Excellent pizza at a great price, a gem in Rome.

11/11/2025: I'll start by telling you that my 9-year-old daughter said to me, "Mom, you have to give this restaurant a 5 ⭐️." We had tagliolini with butter and parmesan, which was fabulous (you can add truffle, which we did). A broccoli and anchovy gnocchi was equally fantastic. An excellent fried calamari and shrimp dish. A children's menu consisted of penne with tomato sauce, chicken cutlet with potatoes, both equally delicious, and ice cream. The penne had a white version, and although the sauce was also delicious, next time my daughter will have them white because she stole her dad's tagliolini. I've never had tagliolini that looked so simple but tasted so good. A bottle of water and a glass of wine. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a view of the lake and the village of Anguillara, you could go straight down to the beach. Nice and friendly staff and owner. The costs are honest enough to allow you to return more frequently. Pleasant last minute discovery since it was already late, we will certainly become loyal customers. 03/12/2025: The best choice for an evening with friends, whether for drinks or food. The kitchen is open late, the only place in the area that allows latecomers to refuel. The food is excellent, as are the drinks, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, as well as incredibly fast, even when the place is busy. It's now our go-to pub when, after a theater or a long aperitif/dinner event, we're looking for a place to eat. On weekends, it's recommended to ring to let them know you're arriving, and in general, it's recommended to do so for large groups so they can set up the table.

01/11/2025: After a game of five-a-side football or soccer, it's a must-visit, like the North Star for sailors. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is informal. It's perhaps a little too noisy, but overall it's bearable. Parking isn't a problem, as the place is in a sort of small square, so it's right in front of or very close to it, despite being a densely populated area. Even the salads here are remarkable; I personally recommend them.

30/07/2025: This place is like a little piece of our land, El Salvador... not even in my own country have I eaten high-quality pupusas like these. From KUXKATAN with the Italian touch of its tasty cheese makes the pupusa totally original and improved.

02/11/2025: We ate at Terra Mia on Halloween night, a truly delightful experience. Both waitresses were kind and helpful, and the food was delicious (the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was exquisite). Fast service, and the place, though small, was very pleasant. Recommended!
