What makes Altavela truly special, however, is the atmosphere. The service is impeccable: fast, discreet, and extremely knowledgeable in recommending off-menu items and wine pairings. But it's the extreme kindness of the entire staff that makes the difference; they make you feel like a guest of honor from the moment you arrive, right up until your coffee, with a warmth and spontaneity that are rare these days. Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner and a special family lunch. I'll definitely be back!

13/07/2026: I spent two days in Rome and stumbled upon this place. I ate there once and went back again. The roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was delicious, even better than most roujiamo in China. The owner's skills are excellent! 👍 I'll definitely come back next time. I highly recommend it!

07/05/2026: I’m visiting from Japan, this pasta was truly on another level. It was the best I’ve ever eaten. Every element—the seasoning, the perfectly seared pork, the noodles, and the sauce—was in total harmony. I was honestly sad to see the plate empty! The wine was also superb and complemented the flavors perfectly. I also had artichokes for the first time here, which was a treat. And don’t skip the espresso; unlike the bitter versions I’ve had before in Japan, this one was rich and delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I truly envy the locals who get to enjoy this amazing food all the time! Highly recommended.

24/06/2026: This place was amazing. We ordered a family meal with 36 pieces of sushi and it was done in 20 min. There was great service and the personal were really fun. When we got the food and ate it, it was amazing. Felt like real japanese shushi.

And as always, I was blown away by the flavors of each dish, presented with care and passion by the owner, who immerses you in the traditions of Sardinian cuisine! 28/04/2026: Looking for a change of pace in Rome? Then why not take a culinary trip to Sardinia? You've come to the right place. Although quite tired from our day of sightseeing, we tried this little restaurant in the evening. We weren't disappointed; the seafood was incredibly fresh. The prices are justified by the quality of the ingredients and the service provided by the chef (and waiter 😁). I highly recommend it.

04/07/2026: Found this restaurant by accident,and it turned out to be one of the most amazing dinning experience we've had. We had the chef's special lobster pasta which was soooo delicious, well seasoned and juicy. We also order fish of day and the mushroom and truffle pasta which were incredibly delicious as well. Service was great and the prices were seemly affordable!

25/07/2026: Incredible experience. A small, very typical, and intimate restaurant. The meal was delicious, generous, and unbeatable value. Moreover, we hadn't made a reservation, and the manager did everything he could to accommodate us and gave us a warm welcome! Highly recommended.

05/06/2026: Tiny, or almost (but with a terrace...), this place will surprise you with its varied and delicious menu (food and wines), served with a smile and professional efficiency. Don't miss Barbara's delicious tiramisu! Away from the tourist crowds (but not too far), it's well worth the detour... One small drawback (a personal opinion): while the trio of tartares is very fresh, it's not particularly flavorful.

24/07/2026: A restaurant with delicious dishes near the Pantheon, offering great value for lunch. I paid 18 euros for a first and second course, a quarter liter of wine, sparkling water, bread, and excellent service. I recommend arriving early, as the place fills up really fast.

22/07/2026: It is delicious. It suits the Korean palate well. The combination of truffle steak and seafood pasta is great. The tiramisu is also delicious.
