I chose this restaurant for Easter Monday lunch, without particular expectations given the holiday. I was particularly surprised, pampered from start to finish, from the flavored bread to the chosen dishes to the selection of coffees; kind, impeccable service; prices appropriate to the quality of everything else. I will definitely be back! (I recommend the caramelized octopus tentacles and the paccheri with spirulina algae).

Minimalist place, but at the same time bright and clean. The owners are professional, courteous and empathetic. Each dish proposed by the chef is a work of art for the eyes and the palate. Perfect place to be pampered in the company of beautiful people

We went to dinner at the Altavela restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance of ours, we found a refined and familiar environment with an impeccable welcome. I was particularly struck by the attention with which each course was described to us, which underlined the passion and refinement contained in the menu! We consumed appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts and each dish was a discovery from the appetizers with refined combinations that enhanced the flavor of the fish, even raw ones, the first courses rich in flavor with particular elements that enhanced their quality, the second courses in in particular an exceptional fried fish and literally explosive desserts which rounded off an excellent culinary experience. The bill was also absolutely in line with the quality of the dishes that were offered to us. I congratulate this family-run restaurant which wanted to offer a different fish offering than usual, refined and of high quality!

Domenica a pranzo abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante ed è stata una bella esperienza culinaria. Abbiamo iniziato dividendo un freschissimo battuto di mazzancolle con stracciatella funghi ribes e granella di taralli. Per i primi ci siamo fatti indirizzare dalla proprietaria scegliendo su delle proposte particolari e azzeccate: un delicato pacchero blu all'alga spirulina con baccalà mantecato finocchietto selvatico e fonduta di parmigiano ed un ottimo spaghetto ajo olio peperoncino con scampi crudi e latte di cocco. Chiusura con una fragrante frittura di paranza e un gustoso calamaro ripieno alla amatriciana. Giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo, prodotti freschi, cortesia in sala, professionalità ed attenzione del ragazzo proprietario. Ben fornita lista dei vini.

Tonight is the last meal of our 90 day grand tour of France, Spain and Italy. We have dined based on the Michelin Guide, Trip Advisor, Google, and our airbnb hosts recommendations. On the eve of our flight home, we picked the closet restaurant. AND, this is quite possibly our best meal of all. Imagine a family restaurant, a cuisine with just enough adventure to make things interesting, and , by far, the best bread baked by son Lucca. Mom Antinella guided us three the menu: our typical 3 course sharing. We opened with a beautiful presentation of a local fish with a ginger chutney and a potato crisp, followed by pasta with a light sauce and bits of a delicate local fish. The second course of scallops with ham and an almond puree base was perfectly balanced. Portions were Michelin like so room for a Panna Cotta treat. Excellenty paired white wine, sparkling water, and coffee for $99 Euro.

07/04/2024: bumped into this restaurant on our first day to rome and they have good pizza and great wine!! really chill and uper friendly stuff, recommend it for a quick meal!!!!
