05/11/2025: It's always my go-to restaurant when I go downtown. The little square has that intimate, magical feel, and it's perfect for kids...I've always favored the appetizers and first courses (impeccable), but last time I chose the second course, the meat was amazing! Thanks, and see you soon.
04/11/2025: With an intimate and well-maintained internal courtyard, it doesn't feel like you're in the heart of Rome. Easy to reach from Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps, it offers prompt service and delicious dishes. The hand-chopped ragù is excellent, and the crusted antipasti are beautifully cooked. A selection of wines and drinks, including by the glass, are excellent value.
A surprise recommended by our host.

02/11/2025: I returned to La Trota to celebrate a birthday, and for me it remains the best restaurant in Rieti, where you don't just go for the food but for a true sensory experience. The dishes are sublime in flavor. The autumn dessert of persimmons, chestnuts, and coffee meringues was truly exceptional. Definitely worth a try.

30/11/2025: Incredible. We came 7 years ago and have returned, and it was even better. We ordered carbonara and oxtail, and both dishes were exceptional.

The seasoning was just right (not too salty!) and the staff were very kind.
The interior and tableware were stylish, so I highly recommend it.

13/12/2025: The atmosphere is picturesque, welcoming, and quiet, despite the limited space. The staff is very courteous and eager to accommodate customer requests.
The pizza is very good, with the option of choosing more than one flavor on the same pizza. There's a virtually endless list of supplì and croquettes, all to be savored.
An experience definitely worth repeating.
07/12/2025: We went for a pizza dinner with friends! They have over 40 types of suppli, as well as 40 types of zucchini flowers and croquettes! The cod fillets are excellent, as are the pizzas..... Upon request, they can also make it with two or more flavors, cooked to perfection and with lots of mozzarella! The place is small, and if it's crowded, the noise can be annoying. In the summer, with the outdoor tables, it's excellent!!! Anyway, a place that deserves its 5 stars!!!

26/11/2025: This incredible little restaurant deserves more than the five stars I can give it. The Menu was plentiful. My spaghetti Al Vongole was the best pasta I have had in Rome. But the 6th star comes from Eliza, who engaged us and delighted us with her humour and spirit. Thank you so much.
