The meat is excellent. I recommend fasting first. It's better to try the meat than the buffet, although I did find the potato stew fabulous. It's an experience you absolutely must have.

I visited Imperio Gaucho and I must say it was a truly enjoyable evening. The restaurant has a lovely terrace where you can relax, especially on summer evenings, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The Brazilian all-you-can-eat formula is definitely its strong point: the classic meat platter is served directly to your table, and the quality surprised me. The meat was tender, flavorful, and very well cooked. The picanha, in particular, was the real star of the evening: truly exceptional, one of the best I've ever eaten. Before the meat platter, there's also a varied and well-stocked buffet with appetizers and side dishes, allowing you to sample various specialties and perfectly complement the various courses. We spent about €51 per person, including the €36 menu, two beers, and water. Considering the quantity of meat, the quality of the products, and the overall experience, the value for money is absolutely fair. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the evening, always attentive to the tables and the service. If you're a meat lover and want to try a real Brazilian churrascaria in Rome, Imperio Gaucho is definitely worth a visit. The picanha alone is worth the return visit.
